The shadows seed to carry the properties of the Shadow Elent's Giant Shadow Spikes, pinning his body in place.
As he peered inside, it was as if he were gazing into an abyss. A terrifying, ominous beast lurked within, sending shivers down his soul.
"Mo Fan does have the Shadow Elent, but how can it be this powerful?! Could this be the Black Vatican?!"
For a brief mont, Luo Song regretted his actions.
Behind him, Shen Mingxiao, impatient, snapped, "What are you standing there for? Hurry up and go in!"
As soon as he spoke, Shen Mingxiao casually leaned past Luo Song to peek inside. The instant he saw the scene, he was struck by the sa horror his soul and body frozen in place.
He saw even more within the abyssal darkness, intricate dark-purple markings were weaving together. A pair of massive, black-purple eyes, like lanterns, erged a gaze as terrifying as an evil god from a nightmare.
Shen Mingxiao was utterly petrified. His two Elental Nebulas felt as if they were being suppressed by a Mind and Curse Elent mage. He wanted to resist, but his body refused to obey.
"What's going on?!"
Professor Qiu Huayu sensed that sothing was wrong. He imdiately reached out to shake them, only to feel as if he had touched cold corpses. A surge of dark energy attempted to invade him.
However, the old professor reacted quickly, wrapping his hands in magic energy and forcefully shoving Luo Song and Shen Mingxiao backward.
Thud! Thud!
Both of them staggered and fell to the floor, groaning in pain. Only then did they escape from that terrifying state.
With fear-stricken eyes and trembling legs, Luo Song and Shen Mingxiao frantically scrambled backward, nearly wetting themselves.
Panting heavily, Luo Song hissed in disbelief, "What the hell is that?! Is Mo Fan practicing so dark magic?!"

Suddenly, the darkness in front of them surged. From the depths of the room, a Night Thunder Dream Beast slowly extended its head through the doorway, nearly filling the entire fra. Its black-and-white elegant mane fluttered, its refined horns pointed skyward, and its steady, unwavering gaze locked onto them.
All three of them froze in place, their minds overwheld with terror. The oppressive aura of a Commander-level demon filled the hallway, carrying the deadly presence of a battle-hardened predator.
"W-W-Wha... What the hell?! How can there be a Commander-level demon in the Imperial Capital Academy's dormitory?!"
Luo Song's voice was trembling, his mind on the verge of collapse. At this distance, even the strongest of high-tier mages would be helpless, let alone a re Interdiate Mage like him.
Although Professor Qiu Huayu was also shaken, his first instinct was to push the students away to get them to safety.

The professor couldn't help but ask, "Lu Jun, is this... your summoned beast?!"
Luo Song and Shen Mingxiao stared at him in horror.
"That's right," Lu Jun replied casually. "I awakened the Summoning Elent upon reaching the High Tier. This is my Dinsional Summon."

Luo Song and Shen Mingxiao were speechless. A Primary Summoning Beast alone could fight seven or eight ordinary High-tier mages.
And yet, Lu Jun was their age. The gap between them was far too vast.

He was already picturing himself riding the Swift Star Wolf through the city, leaving luxury cars and even his little sister far behind.
Way more stylish than Lu Jun's fancy sports cars.
However, sothing felt off. The evolved wolf remained crouched, whimpering, unwilling to stand up.
Mo Fan frowned. "What's wrong? You're a Warrior-level beast now! Stand tall!"
What he didn't know was that his wolf had sensed a terrifying presence outside. The sheer pressure sent shivers down its spine.
The pride of its evolution? Completely shattered.
"Wait, what?! You're saying there's a super-dangerous creature outside?!"
Mo Fan was baffled. He recalled hearing so noise earlier but hadn't paid attention. Now, hearing this from his wolf, his expression turned serious.
He stepped forward ready to open the door and see for himself.
