Mo Fan held onto his Shadow Escape magic carefully and approached the door.

As he opened it, he found a massive beast lying in the hallway, occupying the entire space. The only way to open the door was by pulling it inward.

This monster, resembling both a deer and a lion, had lightning arcs flickering across its body, enveloped in dense, dark mist. Its smooth fur, interwoven with black and white, made it look incredibly striking.

More importantly, an overwhelming and terrifying aura spread from it, far surpassing the level of a Warrior-class creature. The pressure bore down on Mo Fan, causing his mind to montarily freeze. His Shadow and Lightning Nebulae were suppressed.

Mo Fan was utterly shocked. This was his first ti seeing a Commander-level demon beast up close, and its re presence immobilized him.

No wonder Old Wolf was kneeling on the ground, trembling. Mo Fan couldn't help but recall the ti he had accidentally encountered the Summoned Beast of the Lone Hunter King. However, these two powerful creatures gave off entirely different impressions and understandings.

He had a feeling that Shadow Escape wouldn't work in front of this dark and mighty demon beast.

Just as Mo Fan tensed up, ready to jump out of the window to escape, he suddenly noticed a familiar young man in a black-gold coat standing before the giant beast.

Lu Jun extended his hand and gently stroked the Night Thunder Dream Beast's mane. The lightning and dark mist coursing through its fur didn't harm him in the slightest. Instead, the fur felt soft and comfortable to the touch.

Human Talent Skill – [Caress] Activated!

The Dream Beast seed to enjoy the touch. It let out a soft "yoo yoo" sound, its eyes half-closing as its aura cald down. For the first ti in its life, it was being caressed by a human, curling up like a kitten or a fawn, its tail swaying lazily.

Seeing this, Mo Fan suddenly felt a sense of déjà vu. Unable to hold back, he called out, "Old Lu, what's up with this demon beast?"

Both the man and the beast turned their heads toward him.

The Night Thunder Dream Beast glanced at Mo Fan, sensing the sa Shadow and Lightning elents in him, though much weaker. However, it quickly lost interest and looked away.

Lu Jun withdrew his hand and smiled. "I awakened the Summoning Elent at the Advanced Level. This is my Basic Dinsional Summoning partner. What do you think? Pretty decent, right?"

Upon hearing this, Mo Fan was left speechless. He looked at the Dream Beast, which seed to have all sorts of special effects around it, then turned to glance at Old Wolf in his room. The difference was overwhelming.

He suddenly had the urge to yell, "Can't I get just one mont to show off?

Feeling completely unmotivated, Mo Fan closed the door and returned to his room in self-imposed exile, consoling himself with the thought that his innate dual-elent talent would shine in the late stages.

anwhile, Lu Jun didn't concern himself with these trivial matters. He focused instead on his own sensations. The energy of his Summoning Nebula was depleting rapidly after all, summoning a Commander-level creature at the Interdiate Level was extrely taxing.

This was one of the drawbacks of contracting an overly powerful Summoned Beast early on.

For ordinary Summoners, longevity was crucial. Without their Summoned Beasts, they were fragile and easy to kill.

But Lu Jun didn't mind. Summoning was just one of his many abilities. His Water and tal Elents alone could rival Commander-level opponents.

Professor Qiu Huayu, standing nearby, cald himself down and observed the Night Thunder Dream Beast with fascination. "I've studied many demon beasts, but I've never seen a Summoned Beast with multiple attributes like this. What species is it exactly?"

Lu Jun simply smiled without answering.

The Night Thunder Dream Beast didn't exist in the magical world. Even in the Summoning Plane, it was extrely rare.

If not for the deep heritage of Pang Lai's lineage, it would have been nearly impossible to identify it.

Even so, the records about it were minimal. Its specific abilities were still unknown and needed to be explored further.

Noticing Lu Jun's silence, Qiu Huayu realized his mistake and stopped prying. Instead, he gathered the two trembling students and left, even forgetting that his original purpose was to oversee Mo Fan's Summoned Beast evolution.

Before leaving, he reminded Lu Jun, "The training location for the Imperial Capital exchange program will be confird in a few days. Be sure to notify the students."

Lu Jun's eyes flickered with thought. Lu Nian's Devil Elent countdown had begun.

Several days passed in a blur.

The principal of the Imperial Capital's Academy gathered the exchange program students and finalized the training location: Dongting Lake, Jinlin City.

Their mission was to survey the current demon beast distribution in the area, preparing for future military efforts to reclaim the city.

The team included over a dozen people, including Mo Fan, Lu Zhenghe, Mu Ningxue, and others.

Lu Jun, however, did not participate. This operation was entirely up to them unlike the future National Team mbers like Guan Yu, they wouldn't have guardians escorting them.

The day before, Lu Jun had already caught wind of a Military Commander arriving likely Lu Nian.

It was said that Lu Nian and Principal Songhe had a falling out during a conversation.

However, Songhe didn't take the incident seriously. The people involved didn't seem to be on high alert either, even allowing Lu Zhenghe, Lu Nian's younger brother, to participate in the training.

Of course, Songhe's questionable judgnt wasn't new.

Under his administration, he had once personally sent the Ice Calamity survivor, Qin Yu'er, into the previous National Tournant, resulting in a series of tragic events.

Not only did it lead to personal loss, but it also caused the Chinese National Team to collapse, exiting in the Round of 32—a severe blow to national honor.

This ti was no different. Mo Fan, a natural dual-elent mage, was nearly dood.

Standing at the academy gate, Lu Jun watched the group depart, his gaze settling on Lu Zhenghe, who lingered at the back of the team.

This traitor would surely leak information.

That was exactly what Lu Jun wanted.

He hoped Lu Zhenghe wouldn't disappoint him.

After the training team departed, Lu Jun also sprang into action.

He had spent the past few days adjusting to his best condition. Through his phone, he learned that his sister, Lu i, and Tang Yue had already arrived at Dongting Lake for reconnaissance.

Now, he rushed to find Professor Yuan.

"Oh, right, I almost forgot about this," Professor Yuan said as he walked out of the teaching building. Seeing Lu Jun, he sighed, "You've reached the Advanced Level. I haven't even had the chance to congratulate you."

Lu Jun replied, "That was a while ago. Hurry up."

Upon hearing Lu Jun's description, Professor Yuan's face darkened.

"You an soone has their eyes on Mo Fan? Planning to use a natural dual-elent mage for human experintation?!"

He was furious. "Scum like that disgrace the na of magical scholars! I have to intervene."

Both n were decisive. Without wasting ti, they took another flight to Dongting Lake.

Upon landing, Lu Jun reunited with Lu i at a military town near the lake.

The town had few civilians, mostly occupied by Hunters. Its local Military Commander was a strong woman nad Li Man.

In the future, she would help the demonized Mo Fan slay a Commander-level demon, ensuring he survived the backlash by obtaining its remnants.

"Long ti no see," Tang Yue greeted from afar, smiling seductively. "Over here."

Lu Jun approached with Professor Yuan, instinctively glancing at her. Her figure was still as stunning as ever.

Recalling the hotel incident, he awkwardly smiled, "Yeah, it's been a year."

Beside her, Lu i linked arms with her best friend, casting a knowing glance at Lu Jun.

Both won were tall, fair-skinned, and voluptuous, with breathtaking figures.

One was a cold and elegant queen, the other a mature and charming beauty. Walking side by side, they attracted countless stares.

Realizing the commotion, Lu Jun quickly said, "Let's talk sowhere quiet."
