When the smoke at the foot of the mountain cleared, Lu Jun saw a group of one-eyed magic wolves crowding together, charging up the mountain one after another, as if they couldn't wait to tear Lu i apart.
The wolves' anger was easy to understand. They had been basking in the sun and eating well in the valley, but a wind disk had swept away their ho, killing many of their clan's cubs and descendants in the process.
This situation was now a matter of life and death.
Lu Jun held his heavy sword, his gaze fixed on the wolf pack. When fifty magic wolves had closed in to one-third of the distance, he quickly calculated and decisively said, "It's close enough, release the boulders!"
He wouldn't wait for the wolves to get too close before using the giant boulders, which were a powerful weapon.
Because although this was a magical world, the laws of physics still applied—there was inertia and acceleration. At least the basic Earth magic couldn't make a boulder strike a demon slave without first gaining so speed.
So, he had to leave so space to accelerate, and one-third of the distance was just right.
Boom, boom, boom!
Soon, Lu i reacted, casting the Earth magic [Earth Wave]. Seven or eight boulders, each the height of a person, rumbled and rolled down the slope, speeding up as they went.
In the end, they struck like unstoppable teorites, their speed reaching an unmatchable level.
Boom! Boom! Boom... Splat!
Lu Jun saw each boulder crashing into the dense wolf formation, sending up clouds of dust and red splashes.
Each boulder would smash five or six wolves into the air, and the first wolves to be hit were crushed into at paste under the imnse force, their deaths grueso.
The most shocking thing was that the lead wolf, significantly larger than the others, over four ters tall, was the first to charge forward to et the boulders.
This advanced one-eyed giant wolf actually used its hard skull to directly smash through the charging boulders, shattering them into pieces, though it only slightly lowered its body, shook its head, and continued charging forward with massive strides.
Fortunately, the regular magic wolves were not as terrifying. After the initial wave, fifty wolves were all injured, with six or seven killed on the spot, and several others too injured to move at the foot of the mountain.
Howl, howling!
But it wasn't over yet. During this ti, Lu i controlled the stars, with blue marks on her feet intertwining in seven distinct star tracks, sketching out a blue whirlwind magic map.
After five or six seconds, the violent wind elents swirling around her body made the surrounding air instantly feel empty, and at the center of it all, her proud figure hovered as the rapidly spinning air currents began to form a massive whirlwind that swept up all the dust.
Lu i's feet left the ground, floating in the eye of the storm, surrounded by blue wind currents, resembling a queen of the wind.
A tornado surged up, reaching a height of ten ters, with a diater of two ters.
Lu Jun looked at his sister in shock, squinting his eyes. If not for the heavy sword in his hands, he would have been shaken by the storm, with the sand and wind continuously stinging his skin.
"Interdiate Level 1 Wind Disk: Tornado!"
At this mont, Lu i lightly exclaid, and the giant tornado around her began to move rapidly, charging down the mountain. The further it went, the stronger the wind beca until it reached a peak and then gradually weakened, following a U-shaped curve.
Yellow dust filled the air, and the storm howled. Lu Jun could no longer see everything clearly. It seed like his sister, wielding the furious power of the wind, had gained control over everything.
Howl...
Soon, the tornado rushed down the mountain, directly crashing into the wolf pack.
Lu Jun saw ten of the one-eyed giant wolves being swept into the tornado, lifted tens of ters into the air, and then violently thrown back down.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Each wolf fell, breaking every bone in its body, its fur shredded by the sand and rocks. With the height they fell from, equivalent to three or four stories, they t their end.
In just two waves of attacks, twenty magic wolves were taken out, and even more were critically injured.
Howl!
The remaining twenty or so wolves hesitated, but the wolf king seed to have lost all reason, like a gambler who had gone mad. It howled loudly and charged up the mountain, its speed skyrocketing like a massive truck.
Nearby wolves were stirred up and followed the lead wolf.
But Lu i's face remained cold. She quickly cast an Basic Level 2 Earth magic [Earth Wave: Delay], almost releasing three or four waves in a second.
Boom, boom, boom!
As the wolves charged toward the peak, massive pits would suddenly open under their feet, occasionally trapping one or two wolves. Although the traps didn't cause much harm, escaping from them would take ti.
Thus, only about ten wolves remained for Lu Jun to deal with.
"Hiss!" Lu Jun sucked in a cold breath. Letting an interdiate mage cast magic freely was nothing short of a disaster.
Lu i smiled faintly, glancing at her brother. "Now you know how powerful I am. You hold them off for a while. I'll cast one more interdiate wind magic to deal with the advanced wolf."
"Got it!" Lu Jun grew serious, looking down at the approaching wolf pack. He didn't just wait idly, but tightly gripped his Golden Sword, his gaze fixed on the rapidly charging wolf king.
Just then, the wolf king locked eyes with him, both of them filled with killing intent.
Suddenly, the wolf king leaped, stepping on a wind track, its figure flashing as it charged downward, using the downhill acceleration and magic to its advantage. It wasn't running, but rather floating, covering several ters in a single step.
Buzz, buzz, buzz!
Lu Jun held his sword diagonally, sparks flying as it scraped the ground, almost becoming a blur. A trail of blue water and green wind followed, with sonic booms ringing in his ears. His focus was entirely on the enormous, fierce wolf that was charging toward him.
Boom!
In an instant, their bodies collided. Lu Jun, like a blue cannonball, collided with the one-eyed magic wolf. Before the impact, he held his sword above his head.
The nearly four-ter-long heavy sword, with imnse inertia, crashed down.
The one-eyed magic wolf king, however, reacted quickly. Sensing the deadly danger from the sword, it imdiately triggered its inherent demon technique, covering its body in a layer of blood-black energy.
Most subjugated demons didn't have such techniques, but an advanced demon like this had already begun awakening so, equivalent to interdiate-level magic. These techniques would further enhance their power once they reached the general stage.
The body of an advanced Servent demon was already far stronger than that of a basic one, and with the demon technique, its defense was even more formidable.
Lu Jun's heavy sword struck down, feeling as though it had cut into a tree. While it left a deep wound, splitting the wolf in two wasn't realistic.
A massive impact reverberated through the air, sending waves that kicked up dust, and both figures were sent flying backward at the sa speed.
The difference was that Lu Jun only flew a few ters before performing a backflip and landing steadily on the ground, groaning as he took several steps back. The wolf king, however, rolled several tis and crashed through several rocky slopes before finally stopping.
The one-eyed magic wolves, seeing this, quickly scattered, unwilling to help their leader.
In theory, a human's strength and weight shouldn't be able to move a massive beast standing at over four ters tall.
But don't forget, the heavy sword Lu Jun wielded weighed at least a hundred pounds, and the water-based flexibility of his water flow absorbed so of the impact force.
He adjusted his stance, looking down at the wolf king, which had a deep blood mark on its shoulder.
Roar!
The wolf king stood, shaking its head, and charged again, but this ti, the remaining dozen or so wolves had already closed in on Lu Jun.
The situation had beco critical.
