Trevor imdiately rolled out of the way as the goblin’s hamr ca crashing down on the floor where he had just been lying.
The ground cracked violently from the sheer force of the impact.
Trevor’s eyes snapped to the exact spot where his head had been only monts ago. If he had been even a second slower, he would have been smashed into pulp.
anwhile, Caroline was still locked in fierce combat with the other two goblins. She moved with unnatural grace, her body flowing like water as she dodged each and every one of their attacks.
But there was no ti to think.
Trevor pushed himself up instantly, gripping his sword tightly. The goblin in front of him stood ready, clearly waiting for the exact mont he regained his footing to charge again.
’here we go’ Trevor muttered to himself as he steadied his stance.
Right on cue, the goblin lunged at him.
But that was exactly what Trevor had expected.
He had already seen through its plan.
Trevor swiftly dodged to the side and swung his wooden sword with full force.
It ca crashing straight into the goblin’s face.
The impact was brutal.
The sheer force behind the strike made Trevor imdiately realize that this was no ordinary wooden sword.
It felt... enhanced.
Almost magical.
The goblin staggered backward as green blood instantly began oozing from its nose.
But contrary to Trevor’s expectations, the hit did not weaken it.
If anything, it made the creature even more frenzied.
With a furious roar, it charged at him again, far more aggressive than before.
Its hamr swung downward with terrifying force, aiming directly for Trevor’s head.
Trevor reacted instantly.
He raised his wooden sword and positioned it to block the incoming strike.
Fear surged through his body as the weapons collided.
He had seen what that hamr was capable of.
He could only hope his sword would hold.
And shockingly... it did.
Not only did it withstand the blow, but it held firm without even splintering.
By now, Trevor was completely certain.
The weapon in his hands was far from normal.
The mont he deflected the attack, Trevor imdiately drove a powerful kick straight into the goblin’s groin.
The creature recoiled violently, stumbling backward in pain.
A guttural roar escaped its throat as its hands instinctively dropped to clutch its groin.
The rage in its eyes intensified.
It was clearly entering a berserk state.
But Trevor wasn’t about to give a seven-foot monster the chance to recover.
He surged forward without hesitation.
Gripping his sword tightly, he leaped into the air, raising the blade high above his head.
The goblin, still distracted by pain, caught a glimpse of him.
But it was already too late.
Trevor was already airborne.
His sword ca crashing down with overwhelming force.
The goblin barely managed to lift its hamr in an attempt to block.
But it was too slow.
Trevor’s blade slamd directly into its face.
The impact was devastating.
The goblin was driven straight into the ground, its massive body collapsing instantly.
Its hamr slipped from its grip and fell heavily onto the floor in front of Trevor.
Without wasting a second, Trevor grabbed the hamr.
It was just as heavy as he had expected, nearly dragging his arm down with its weight.
Still, he forced himself forward.
Standing over the fallen goblin, he raised the hamr high and brought it down with all the strength he could muster.
Once.
Twice.
The goblin didn’t even have ti to scream.
Its head was crushed into a grotesque paste.
Trevor let the hamr fall from his hands, breathing heavily as he stepped back. The weapon, now drenched in green blood, hit the ground with a dull thud.
It was far too heavy to be used effectively in prolonged combat.
Trevor quickly turned toward Caroline.
To his surprise, the two goblins she had been fighting were already lying lifeless on the ground.
"Why are you looking at like that?" she said with a small smile and a soft chuckle. "These are just F-ranked goblins."
[Congratulations. You have successfully slain three Hamr Goblins. Mana deprivation now at 0.45]
Almost imdiately, the notification flashed before Trevor’s eyes. His system interface shimred as more alerts followed.
[Congratulations. Your Werewolf Card has reached Level 2]
[Congratulations. Eyes of Hades has been upgraded to Level 2]
[You have cleared the first floor. Proceed to the next]
[Tir: 1:23:26]
Trevor dismissed the screen quickly.
It was clear now.
Fighting improved his cards.
But to increase his remaining stats, he would need to complete system missions and have intemate encounters with his harem mbers.
He had barely over an hour left to reduce the cave’s remaining percentage by another 0.55.
Without wasting ti, they imdiately moved deeper into the dungeon.
Trevor followed closely behind Caroline, his eyes scanning the surroundings carefully for any hidden threats.
Then suddenly—
Caroline stopped.
Trevor froze mid-step.
His grip tightened instinctively around his sword as his senses sharpened.
He looked at her, searching for any sign of what had caused her reaction.
But she said nothing.
She simply stared straight ahead into the darkness, her expression completely serious.
Trevor followed her gaze.
At first, he saw nothing.
Just empty darkness.
But then—
Sothing moved.
Figures slowly began to erge from the shadows.
[d-ranked frost bear]
Trevor’s eyes widened slightly as the creatures stepped fully into view.
He tightened his grip on his wooden sword, though doubt began creeping into his mind.
Could this weapon even harm sothing like that?
The creature was massive.
Its body was covered in frost, cold mist radiating from its skin. It was obvious that it possessed so form of ice-based magic.
Trevor shot Caroline a quick glance, silently questioning if their previous strategy still applied here.
But before either of them could speak—
More movent.
Hamr goblins began pouring in from the sides.
Trevor’s eyes darted rapidly as he counted.
"1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7..."
His expression hardened.
Seven hamr goblins.
And with the frost bear—
Eight enemies.
Two against eight.
Trevor exhaled slowly, tension building in his chest.
They needed a plan.
Otherwise, this might be where everything ended.
He turned toward Caroline, certain she was thinking the sa thing.
But before a single word could be exchanged—
The goblins charged.
