Hearing the new task that had just been triggered, her eyes widened. She subconsciously looked toward the cold, handso man in the living room, feeling as if the sky were falling all over again.
Her mind couldn’t help but recall the last ti she’d entered his room for a check-in task.
That guy wouldn’t even let her in his room. The slightest touch from her made him act as if he’d been contaminated with sothing filthy. How could he possibly agree to let her climb into his bed and sleep with him for a night?
The last ti she left his room, that guy had disinfected every single corner of the place multiple tis, not even sparing the cracks in the floor or the ceiling.
If she forced herself on him for one night, wouldn’t he jump into a pool of disinfectant and soak for days?

Jiang Yunnuan didn’t know what to make of this!
After a mont of silence, she turned and strode toward Ming Ye. She stood before him, tilting her head up to look at his face—a face with cold eyes, sharp features, and a handsoness so intense it felt aggressive.
’Shaful or not, who cares? I’m shaless enough, and the mission reward is just too good. So... climbing into his bed isn’t entirely out of the question.’
’Caught between her pride and the prize, she reluctantly chose the latter, imdiately eating her own words.’
"Ahem, umm, I’m sleeping with you tonight!"
The mont the words left her mouth, several pairs of eyes snapped to her. Everyone was staring.
Fu Yuan and Jun Yao’s gazes were deep and inscrutable. Si Xie, however, was gritting his teeth, his scorn and anger on full display.
As for the man in question, Ming Ye, after a flicker of surprise, his eyes darkened as he stared at her. "Are you looking for trouble again?"
At these words, Si Xie’s expression changed in a flash. A grin spread across his face as he settled in to watch the show.
"Well, well. Soone’s quite the flirt, trying to get her hands on everyone. Serves you right for getting rejected, huh?"
"No one will think you’re a mute if you just shut up!"
Jiang Yunnuan shot him a furious glare, but he wasn’t fazed in the slightest, retorting with a smug grin.
"What’s the point of having a mouth if not to talk? I’m not a mute, so why would I stay quiet!"
Then, he turned to taunt Jun Yao.
"See? Her asking to sleep with him was just a whim. It doesn’t an you’re special to her in any way. She could drop you for soone else at a mont’s notice. Today it’s Ming Ye, tomorrow it could be anyone."
Jun Yao shot him a cold glance, his thin lips pressed together. He said nothing, his incomparably handso face devoid of any emotion.
Jiang Yunnuan, however, couldn’t be bothered to bicker with him. She ignored his attempts to sow discord, too focused to pay the others any mind.
She looked at Ming Ye and said, "I just want to sleep in the sa bed, that’s all. I absolutely will not touch you. If you agree, I’ll make you a delicious al tomorrow. It’ll all be for you—none for them."
’At this mont, Jiang Yunnuan felt like the Big Bad Wolf luring Little Red Riding Hood in the fairy tale. She was just wicked beyond asure.’
’At the sa ti, she felt a pang of regret. Why couldn’t the target of this task have been Jun Yao?’
’Even though that guy Jun Yao’s affinity was at a rock-bottom -1999—the lowest of the group—his self-control was incredible. No matter how much he loathed her on the inside, he was always perfectly obedient on the outside.’

Hearing her words, the other n’s gazes flickered, their hearts in turmoil.
Fu Yuan and Si Xie had to fight the urge to volunteer to take Ming Ye’s place. Only their pride as Beastn kept them from speaking up.
Damn it, why did it have to be Ming Ye? Were they not good enough?
So the novelty wears off after a kiss, is that it?
Several pairs of faintly jealous eyes landed on Ming Ye. Unfazed, Ming Ye frowned in thought for a mont before slowly nodding.
"Fine. Rember what you said..."
"Got it, got it! Don’t worry, I absolutely will not touch you!"
Knowing exactly what he was about to say, Jiang Yunnuan simply cut him off.
’So what if I can’t touch him? It’s not a big deal. Besides, my life-extending tir doesn’t run out tonight, so I don’t need him for that anyway.’
With the negotiations successful, Jiang Yunnuan hurried upstairs to take a shower.
After showering and changing into clean clothes, her long hair still damp, she headed downstairs to find Ming Ye.
She pulled open the door, only to be t by a pair of pale golden eyes. Jiang Yunnuan froze for a second, staring at the tall, statuesque, and divinely handso man before her.
"What are you doing here?"
"You’re the one who said I should sleep with you from now on."
The man lowered his gaze to her, his eyes dark and profound like a bottomless abyss, betraying no emotion. Yet, for so reason, they made Jiang Yunnuan feel a sudden pang of guilt.
’She didn’t know why, but she suddenly felt like a cheating wife caught red-handed by her husband while sneaking out for a tryst with her lover.’
’Though, to be fair, I am a total scumbag!’
But the thought of his -1999 affinity level made that flicker of guilt vanish without a trace.
"Not tonight. So other ti!"
With that, she hurried downstairs. She t Fu Yuan and Si Xie at the staircase—one of them enigmatic and unreadable, the other sneering with contempt.
"Heh. Ming Ye hates being touched more than anything, especially by you. I’ll be waiting for you to get thrown out tonight."
Jiang Yunnuan: "..."
That guy was incapable of saying a single nice word. Not bothering to grace him with a response, Jiang Yunnuan pretended she hadn’t heard and walked toward Ming Ye’s room, her eyes fixed forward.
As she expected, he’d left the door for her.
Once inside, she heard the SPLASHING sound of running water from the bathroom.
Jiang Yunnuan pulled back the covers and slipped into bed. As she listened to the running water, her mind couldn’t help but wander to indecent places.
’Beastn all have bestial features. Other than the snake scales beneath the corners of his eyes, Ming Ye’s weren’t obvious. I wonder... aside from his semi-bestial form, does he have any other snake-like features?’
’I’ve heard that snakes have two...’
’I’ve never seen it for myself, so I have no idea if that rumor is reliable!’
Just as she was lost in thought, the bathroom door slid open. A tall, long-legged man with broad shoulders and a narrow waist strolled out. Even in a conservative bathrobe, there was no hiding his ridiculously perfect, scream-worthy physique.
