Si Xie’s fists clenched. After speaking, he turned away and closed his eyes.
It was only after hearing her inner thoughts that he recalled certain things about a Beastman’s rampage.
It is said that Beastn possess an animalistic nature. They can go on a rampage if sothing goes wrong during their Cultivation or if their emotions beco too agitated. Only a Contract Master can soothe them.
But since he’d never gone on a rampage himself, he only had a vague idea of what it entailed. He wasn’t actually clear on the specific thods for calming one down.
Jiang Yunnuan finally understood his words. Raising her gaze to the handso, frenzied face before her, she struggled to lift her head and press her lips to his.

The contract seal within her body suddenly activated, and a mysterious, arcane pattern slowly materialized on her forehead.
Jun Yao’s mind cleared for an instant, but soon, the Energy in his body grew even more violent. A powerful wave of Energy swept out, blasting the nearby Ming Ye and Si Xie away.
The two of them scrambled to circulate their Soul Power to defend themselves.

Startled, they heard a loud door slam shut. Whipping their heads around, they saw that the door to the adjacent empty room had closed, and Jun Yao and Jiang Yunnuan were gone.
"Damn it!"
Si Xie cursed. Enduring the agony of what felt like splintering bones and his blood roiling within him, he started pounding violently on the door, shouting curses as he did.
"You bastard, Jun Yao! Let her go! Open the door! Open the door now!"
"Jun Yao isn’t fully lucid. If you don’t want that woman to die, then shut up right now!"
Ming Ye scowled, looking with irritation at the man pounding on the door.
’This is the guy who wants to save her, and he’s also the one who’s going to get her killed. What on earth does he want?’
Si Xie fell silent instantly, his expression turning foul. But a mont later, he gritted his teeth and glared angrily at Ming Ye.
"He’s going to hurt her!"
"And what if he does?"
Ming Ye’s gaze was icy, like that of an emotionless machine. "Only she can completely soothe Jun Yao," he said. "Staying alive is what’s most important, isn’t it? Or are you saying you want that woman to die?"
Si Xie was left speechless.

Jiang Yunnuan was instantly knocked unconscious by the powerful, violent wave of Energy. Her clothes disintegrated into fragnts, exposing her fair, delicate, and exquisitely curved body to the air.
The man on top of her had his clothes shredded as well.
A phantom image of a fierce tiger with a pair of enormous feathered wings floated behind his muscular back. With the slightest twitch of its wings, the air filled with the unending sound of thunderous roars.
The rampaging Energy within his body surged chaotically, without direction.
Driven by instinct, he lowered his head and kissed the woman’s soft, pink lips.
Even though she was unconscious, Jiang Yunnuan could not bear the discomfort.
Her brow furrowed, and a pained, muffled groan escaped her throat.
As if by so mystical force, the man’s negative state was instantly cleansed by Purification. The rampaging power gradually cald, and his consciousness slowly returned.
’This... this is...’
’The sensation was indescribable, utterly foreign, yet held a fatally addictive pleasure.’
Jun Yao frowned, a flicker of astonishnt and regret flashing through his eyes as the blood-red color faded from them.
’He had actually... forced himself on her!’
But now that it had co to this, he had no intention of pulling away and destroying the evidence of his cri.
[Outside the room.]
The instant the violent energy receded, both Ming Ye and a dejected Si Xie sensed it. They both turned to look at the locked door at the sa ti.
In the next instant, Si Xie, who had been squatting in the corner, shot to his feet and began violently pounding on the door again in an emotional frenzy.
"Jiang Yunnuan, are you okay? Are you hurt? Say sothing! Say sothing! You animal, Jun Yao, open the door! Open this door for right now!"
Inside the room, a flash of icy coldness crossed Jun Yao’s eyes as he heard the voice.
"Get lost!"
With a wave of his hand, a blast of Energy shot toward the door.
"ROAR..."
The Energy transford into a phantom tiger that burst through the door, baring its fangs and claws as it lunged for Si Xie’s face. Si Xie’s eye twitched violently at the sight, and he quickly waved his hand, sending out a wave of Energy to shatter the phantom.
"Damn it! You’re not allowed to use Beast Souls to fight in a residential area! Aren’t you afraid I’ll report you, you bastard?"
’That guy... he’s taking advantage of the fact that the villa’s safety shields are active, aning his Beast Soul Power can’t escape, to use his Beast Soul however he pleases. He’s infuriating!’
Hearing his threat, Jun Yao let out a cold laugh, paying it no mind whatsoever.
Ming Ye, on the other hand, frowned and put a hand on his shoulder.
"It’s late. Stop causing trouble."
The house’s safety shields were active. Jun Yao hadn’t injured any residents or damaged any of the Empire’s infrastructure or public property. Even if Si Xie went to report him, it would just be written off as a minor squabble between Contractors. No one would take him seriously.
