"What about that human? Is he still in that place?"
Yor’ar Liss narrowed his eyes, thought briefly, and asked.
On’ar nodded again. "Yes. He didn’t enter the inheritance grounds. But, he’s still there. He said he is about to break through and will leave after advancing in his cultivation."
Yor’ar fell silent for a mont, tapping the throne’s armrest with his finger. His aura darkened slightly, and after a few seconds of contemplation, he opened his eyes.
"Inform the other nine holy grounds of us, Spiritas. Let them know about the inheritance ground and the fact that the inheritance has been claid. We must act together now to forcefully reopen the inheritance ground and explore that place."
"Yes, leader."
A murmur of agreent spread among the elders.
Yor’ar’s gaze then swept over the crowd. "Also, organize an army. I want ten Spiritas of the Ethereal Mist Realm and fifty of the Luminous Void Realm. Send them to the inheritance site imdiately. Examine that place carefully. You must look through every stone and every breath of soul energy you see or feel there. Bring if you don’t find anything, bring back the skeleton of the Dark Dragon Soul Beast. It may still hold a valuable essence. And if possible, find out who obtained the inheritance."
As he spoke, his voice grew louder and colder. With his final word spoken, he waved his hand and dismissed everyone.
All the high-ranking Spiritas rose, bowed to their family head, and began to leave. Their expressions were grim.
....
"I succeeded."
Emrys slowly opened his eyes, and they glowed with a brilliant golden light.
For a long ti, he had been trying to find a way to increase his Cosmic Cultivation. He sat in deep thought, looking for answers, but nothing worked. No path revealed itself.
Then an idea ca to him.
He began comparing Normal Cultivation, Soul Cultivation, and Cosmic Cultivation. He realized that both normal and soul cultivation followed almost similar paths. It is just that their routes are different. The directions they followed are different, both wanted to reach the sa end.
Then, Emrys rembered sothing important. It turned out that the Cosmic Essence Core inside him was already like a tiny world on its own. It existed within him ever since he first stepped into the path of Cosmic Cultivation.
Normally, a cultivator would have to go through twelve steps of Cosmic Warrior to form this core, only after becoming an Ordinary Cosmic Apprentice. Yet, Emrys had it from the very beginning.
Anyways, the fact is that he could treat the Cosmic Essence Core as a World Seed, evolving it into a universe and more.
He didn’t dwell on this mystery for too long. Instead, he made a decision.
"I’ll return to that fragnted Cosmic World and look for the true inheritance of Cosmic Cultivation," he told himself.
But before that, he had another goal.
Emrys wanted to create a new thod, sothing like the Soul Plunder ability, but instead of attacking the soul, this thod would target the body, blood, essence, and Cosmic Energy of others.
He didn’t know if it was even possible. But then, he rembered sothing powerful about himself.
He had the Tiless Enlightennt Body and Bloodline.
This rare body and bloodline gave him a unique ability to fall into a deep state of enlightennt anyti he wished. There was no ti limit. He could stay in that state for as long as needed.
Thinking of all this, Emrys silently activated his bloodline. At once, he entered the mysterious state of Tiless Enlightennt, where ti has no aning at all.
Emrys’s thoughts imdiately beca clear. His soul floated in a vast ocean of ideas. Everything around him faded slowly, so be it if it was ti, place, or even his sense of self.
If there was anything, then it was only focus and comprehension.
Emrys wasn’t sure if he could succeed in creating the thod he wanted. After all, the concept was vague, and this ability involved complex powers and structures.
However, as Emrys’s mind detached from the world around him and entered a state of pure epiphany, his thoughts flowed like rivers of starlight.
In this state, he started carefully analyzing the Soul Plunder ability. He broke it down piece by piece, understanding its structure and how it worked. He spent an unknown period of ti just to understand its core logic.
Then, slowly and patiently, he began constructing the blueprint of a new thod. It was an ability that would allow him to absorb Cosmic Energy, body strength, and blood essence from creatures, whether he killed them himself or not.
He didn’t know how long he remained in that state.
Hours? Days? Months? Years?
It didn’t matter.
Ti had no aning to him in that state.
In that boundless clarity, he succeeded in creating the foundation of the thod he desired. Though it was only the beginning and still incomplete, Emrys realized that even this foundational version held trendous power.
With it, he could now absorb the essence of cosmic lifeforms and raise his Cosmic Cultivation, not just by killing them himself, but also by feeding on those defeated by others.
It has to be known that this thod was still just a foundation of sothing new and terrifying, and Emrys would need to complete this thod in the future. But for now, it was enough.
After opening his eyes, Emrys paused for a few monts in thought, then gave this incomplete yet powerful thod a na: ⟪Silent Devourer of All Paths⟫.
Why did he choose that na?
Because the thod he had created was far from ordinary. Although it was still only at the foundational stage and currently worked only on the body, blood, essence, and Cosmic Energy, Emrys had already woven in subtle elents from the Soul Cultivation Path, Chaos Cultivation Path, and Qi Cultivation Path.
In other words, his true goal was to craft a thod that could devour all known cultivation paths and evolve in a comprehensive and all-encompassing manner. As he encountered more cultivation paths in the future, he intended to integrate them into this thod, continuously expanding and refining its power.
However, even he didn’t know what such a path might ultimately lead to.
