Emperor Feng continued to defend against the attacks with the Hurricane Covering Parasol that had expanded to a gigantic hurricane that protected the entire capital region. Any incoming attacks were drawn into the hurricane and reduced to nothing.
The sa happened for the Chiric Beasts that were caught in it. Though the stronger Chiric Beasts that had reached the Seventh Tribulation Stage of the Immortal Realm could overco it and co thorough, which needed Emperor Feng to deal with them personally.
But with the Capital Region being protected for the most part, the Emperor and the army could now focus on the other parts of the Empire as well.
Other than the battalions that were posted in the various regions of the Empire, only the Emperor was fast enough to reach for reinforcents in ti, as such he was flying nonstop from one area of the empire to the other, assisting anyti they were getting overwheld.
In all this, he could only think of one thing.
'When will the Temple of the Guardian beasts act?' He wondered.
As the protectors of the world, they were obviously aware of the sudden invasion that had happened. Normally speaking, they should have reacted almost instantly thus, the Emperor didn't know what was the problem.
'Uncle is also not responding.' Emperor Feng had tried to talk to High Elder Juxue but had gotten no response so far.
These were the people who should have acted long ago, and yet there was no ssage from them. If it were not for the fact that Emperor Feng had his hands tied, he would have already gone to the Temple to take a look himself.
"We can only wait…" Emperor Feng gritted his teeth as he swept out with the Shearing Hurricane Fan. 'Unless she decides to help…' the Emperor's mind went to another person who had the power to wipe out all these beasts.
But she was soone who had no obligation to help them. As such, he couldn't hope for it too hard.

The illusory figure of the Great Hurricane Falcon could be seen forming as the Weapon Spirit of the Peak Grade weapon was activated. It soared into the air and began its own battle under the control of the Emperor.
It was the very sa fan that Feng Baxing had once used in the Tournant and had now been returned to the Emperor's hands.
North of the capital region, another Dragonic beast could be seen fighting.

"What beasts are these that dare defile my forest!?" The Blue Drake roared as its claws ripped into a giant Mantis Chiric Beast.
It was the Seventh Tribulation Stage Immortal Realm beast, that was also the rulers of the Blue Drake Forest and an ally of the Empire.
Down south, the Serene Glass Valley and the Morning Glory Clan were also busy in fighting.
The defensive arrays of both powers were activated as large swarms of Chiric beasts assaulted them.
Back at the site of the forr Atlantean City, Lin Mu and the others were having a slightly better ti.
Lin Mu was in the middle of preparing the Mountain Collapsing Fist, but was getting interrupted.

"Dammit… this won't work." Lin Mu had wished to use the high powered skill to wipe out a significant number of the Chiric beasts, but he was unable to steady the energy long enough to use the skill. The Chiric Beasts kept on coming towards him despite the others holding off a lot of them.
"I'll have to do it another way." Lin Mu decided as he summoned his beasts. "Little Shrubby, Xiao Yin, Xiao Yang, I need you." ~ROAR~

The three beasts appeared at a mont's notice and had already been aware of the fight that had been happening. "Little Shrubby, carry and avoid the attacks. Xiao Yin, Xiao Yang, defend while I prepare," Lin Mu instructed them, hoping that this would work.
"Yes!" Little Shrubby imdiately reallied. "Nothing will co close." "We'll kill them all!~" The twins replied in unison as two weapons appeared.
A large battle axe glead in white while a branched spine exuded baleful energy.
They were none other than the Flash Cleave Axe and the Demon Punishing Spine Lash!
The twins have practiced using their weapons for a while, but were finally getting to use them on actual threats.

The first to move was Xiao Yang, who swung the great Axe with his tail, releasing a giant white Axe imprint that flew into the incoming group of Chiric beasts, splitting them half first and then reducing them to ashes due to the pure Yang Qi that was contained in it.
"You can now feed!" Xiao Yin said as she thrust her tail, making the Demon Punishing Spine Lash move.
The lash greedily rushed towards the Chiric Beasts, piercing through tens of them at once and began absorbing all their energy. The Chiric Beasts tried to struggle, but they couldn't do anything against it and were reduced to re husks.
In just five seconds, two of the major Chiric Beast groups that were coming towards Lin Mu were killed off.
"This will definitely work." Lin Mu had a lot more confidence seeing this.
He stood atop Little Shrubby and assud the Horse Stance again as he began accumulating the energy in his hand.

Little Shrubby on the other hand, focused on moving and dodging any of the attacks that ca close while the twins guarded them.

Streak after streak of energy condensed within Lin Mu's arm as he gathered more energy than ever before. Five percent…
Ten percent…
Fifteen Percent…
Twenty Percent…
Thirty percent…
Thirty Five Percent!
"Ugh!" At this point, the energy within Lin Mu's hand had gotten so intense that his arm had swollen in size due to it. Thick veins bulged on his hand as he the rich vitality swirled in there.
"rge!" Lin Mu controlled the Qi, which was a mix of Attributeless Immortal Qi as well as Fire elental immortal Qi and turned them into two individual strands.
