The pilgrimage to the Primordial Temple of Space was sothing Xukong had planned for Lin Mu to experience at so point, but he had not yet decided on the appropriate ti. The enlightennt one could gain from the temple was highly dependent on the individual, and to Xukong, Lin Mu wouldn't benefit as much from it at his current stage.

This was why Xukong had been delaying it, compounded by the fact that the right conditions had not been t. While he could show Lin Mu the temple again in the future, the benefits from repeated exposure would likely be diminished. As such, it was better to space out these visits. However, since Xing Duyi had desired the pilgrimage and Xukong was obligated to fulfill this wish, he reasoned it was an opportune mont for Lin Mu to experience it as well. The outco had exceeded Xukong's expectations, as Lin Mu managed to earn so enlightennt from the visit.

Unlike Xing Duyi, who had spent thousands of years comprehending the Spatial Dao, Lin Mu was still in the early stages of his journey. Naturally, the benefits they derived from the pilgrimage were bound to differ.

"We should head back up," Lin Mu said after checking the ti. "It seems we've been here for over a day already."

"Ah, yes. Losing track of ti in the presence of sothing so profound is expected," Xing Duyi agreed as he rose to his feet.

Lin Mu conducted a final check of the space around them to ensure everything was stable. Once he confird there were no issues, the two ascended back to the deck of the ship.

The deck was relatively empty, as most of the crew and passengers were resting and recovering from the grueling battle they had endured earlier. The only ones present on the deck were Lin Mu's companions, the Immortal Court Envoy Liu, and a few others, including i Nienzhen and Childe Wildfire.

Crown Prince Feng Shun stood at the helm, assisting Daoist Chu and Envoy Liu with the ship's repairs.

"How's the ship?" Lin Mu inquired as he approached them.

"Ah, Daoist Lin Mu and Temple Head," Crown Prince Feng Shun greeted them warmly.

Envoy Liu turned to face them as well, his keen senses imdiately detecting a change in Xing Duyi's aura.

"Temple Head, it seems you have made significant gains," the envoy remarked.

"Hahaha! It is all thanks to the grace of Great-Granduncle Master," Xing Duyi replied, his voice brimming with joy.

"Speaking of which," Daoist Chu interjected, pausing his work, "how should we address Daoist Lin Mu now? The Temple Head is senior to us, and since Daoist Lin Mu is the Great-Granduncle Master… does that make him our Great, Great, Great, Great Grand Senior?"

"Oh, don't bother with all that," Lin Mu said, waving off the notion. "Just call as you always have. You too, Temple Head. You can simply call Lin Mu. I'm far too young for all these grand titles."

"I can't do that," the Temple Head said firmly. "It would be disrespectful to my masters as well as yours. But I suppose I can address you as 'Senior.'"

"Yeah, that's fine," Lin Mu replied, relieved by the compromise.

i Nienzhen and Childe Wildfire, who had been listening from a distance, exchanged glances. While i Nienzhen's thoughts were unreadable, Childe Wildfire was feeling a mix of embarrassnt and admiration.

'Looks like I'd better not ask him for a spar…' Childe Wildfire thought to himself. Having watched Lin Mu's earlier display of power, he had considered challenging him to a friendly duel, but the reverence shown by the others made him rethink his decision. Lin Mu's status clearly surpassed their own, and such a request might be deed inappropriate.

"It would really get tiring to address you with such a long title," Daoist Chu remarked with a chuckle. "As for your earlier question, the ship should be ready to go in an hour or two. We're almost done with the repairs."

"That's good to hear," Lin Mu replied. "Then we can head back to the capital."

~STEP~STEP~STEP~

Lady Kang's asured footsteps echoed across the deck as she made her way toward them. She had evidently overheard part of the conversation.

"The Kang Clan's people will be arriving in a day's ti," she announced.

"Ah, do we need to wait for them?" Crown Prince Feng Shun asked.

"No, it's fine," Lady Kang replied. "They'll be able to track us down. We can continue onward to the city."

The group continued their discussion for a short while until the repairs were completed.

~WHOOSH~

The ship resud its journey, transforming into a blur as it sped across the horizon. As predicted, the Kang Clan's forces arrived exactly a day later.

~SHUA~

All eyes on the deck turned toward the massive flying ship approaching from the distance.

"Whoa… just how big is that?" Daoist Chu exclaid, his jaw dropping as the ship drew closer.

The Immortal Court's ships they had seen before were large, but this one dwarfed them all. It stretched an astounding one thousand ters in length and was ard to the teeth. Atop the ship stood three pagodas, with the central one towering three hundred ters high. The crest of the Kang Clan adorned this pagoda, displaying the Virgo Constellation, with each star ford from radiant Starlight Mystic Pearls.

The immortal qi fluctuations emanating from the ship were overwhelming, surpassing even those of the Immortal Court's vessels.

"No way… it's a Peak Grade Immortal Ship!" Ziran gasped, his voice tinged with awe. "There are fewer than twenty such ships in the entire Immortal Realm."

The leap from a High Grade Immortal Tool to a Peak Grade one was already significant due to the presence of a spirit. However, the gap between High Grade and Peak Grade Immortal Ships was even more astronomical. Unlike standalone tools, Immortal Ships were composed of countless smaller tools working in unison. For a ship to reach Peak Grade, every component had to achieve perfect harmony, a process that required eons of ticulous nurturing.

The ti required for an Immortal Weapon to advance from High Grade to Peak Grade might be a hundred thousand years, but for a ship of this magnitude, the process would take several tis longer. And that was assuming all the materials used were flawless.

The approaching ship's grandeur left the group in awe, a testant to the Kang Clan's imnse resources and influence.
