Now reading: Chapter 2614 Bazgazeal And The Demonic Gigantes from Walker Of The Worlds, a Action novel by Grandvoiddaoist.

Just as Lin Mu was pondering where to begin his search for clues, Karlia's voice broke his train of thought.

"Though, there is one clue—or rather, a minor link—that I have," Karlia said thoughtfully.

"Oh?" Lin Mu raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued.

"You saw our flying vessel, didn't you?" Karlia asked.

"The giant skull? Of course. That's hard to miss," Lin Mu replied with a chuckle.

"It belonged to one of the generals who served under Bazgazeal, a demon our ancestors managed to slay," she revealed.

Lin Mu's eyes widened. "Oh my… there must be so kind of clue within it, then."

"You're welco to investigate it when Ziran returns. But I'll warn you, all our past attempts have yielded nothing," Karlia admitted.

"Are there no inscriptions or markings on it?" Lin Mu asked, frowning slightly.

"There are inscriptions, but they're purely related to the formation arrays used to control it," Karlia replied.

Lin Mu's brow furrowed in thought. "Hmm… It's possible the information could be hidden within the arrays themselves. Arrays, especially large-scale ones, can carry encrypted information in ways that aren't imdiately obvious."

"You're welco to try," Karlia said with a slight shrug. "But don't get your hopes too high. Even Ziran, with all his expertise, couldn't decipher anything from it."

Lin Mu's determination didn't waver. As a formation master, he was well aware of the complexities and subtleties involved in concealing information within arrays. "I'll need to analyze it myself. Until then, I won't give up on the possibility."

"Oh, by the way," Lin Mu said after a mont, "what's the na of the vessel?"

"It's called Fertas' Flying Skull," Karlia answered. "It's nad after the slain general himself."

Lin Mu's intrigue grew. "Given its imnse size, Fertas must have been a Great Demon, correct?"

"We're not entirely sure," Karlia admitted. "The records from that ti are fragnted, but since my ancestors fought and defeated him in the Immortal Realm, it's likely he was at least a Transcendent Demon. Many demons of that level can expand their bodies to massive sizes, so his size might not indicate his true rank."

"That's an innate ability of demons?" Lin Mu asked, intrigued.

Karlia nodded. "Yes, it's tied to their bloodlines. Certain ancient demon lineages, such as the Heavenly Sky Demons, Cloud Canopy Demons, and Mountain Back Demons, are collectively called the Demonic Gigantes. These demons were naturally enormous and ruled as overlords of the demon race in ancient tis. Even a trace of their bloodline in modern demons can grant the ability to achieve gigantification upon reaching a high enough cultivation level."

"Fascinating," Lin Mu murmured, absorbing the new information. "So Bazgazeal and his generals were Demonic Gigantes?"

"Bazgazeal himself was a Heavenly Sky Demon Gigas, one of the rarest and most powerful types. His generals ca from various other Demonic Gigantes lineages," Karlia explained. "There are also rare techniques that allow demons without the bloodline to achieve gigantification, but they're exceedingly difficult to find. Even our tribe, which has ruled a Demon World for hundreds of thousands of years, hasn't been able to obtain them."

"So your tribe doesn't possess this ability either?" Lin Mu guessed.

Karlia shook her head. "No, we don't. We are the War Fla Demon Tribe, and our lineage is too distant from the Demonic Gigantes. Our tribe ca into existence much later."

Lin Mu recalled Ziran's ntion of their tribe and had witnessed Karlia's terrifying War Flas in battle. It made sense that their tribe's abilities had diverged significantly from the ancient Gigantes lineages over ti.

"Still, it's remarkable how diverse the demon races are," Lin Mu said thoughtfully. "Do you know more about Bazgazeal's history? I'd like to understand the kind of figure he was."

Karlia nodded. "Bazgazeal was always an outlier. He started as a prodigy of his Heavenly Sky Demon tribe, a natural genius poised to lead his people. But for reasons unknown, he massacred his own tribe, taking over as the overlord of their world."

Lin Mu's eyes narrowed. "He destroyed his own people?"

"Yes. And his conquest didn't stop there. The world he ruled wasn't purely a Demon World—it had sects, empires, and other powers. He annihilated all of them, enslaving the survivors," Karlia explained grimly. "His tyranny was so severe that even neighboring Demon Tribes opposed him."

Lin Mu could hardly fathom the scale of Bazgazeal's ambition. "I imagine that drew the attention of the Orthodox powers as well."

"It did," Karlia confird. "The Immortal Courts and various sects sent their strongest experts to subdue him, but he crushed all opposition. His strength and cruelty earned him infamy, and he was considered one of the greatest threats of his era."

"What about the other demons? Surely they didn't just sit by," Lin Mu asked.

"They didn't. Like I said before, Bazgazeal's actions were so extre that many Demon Tribes joined forces with the Orthodox powers to oppose him. This was one of the rare instances when demons allied with outsiders," Karlia explained. "Eventually, Bazgazeal's reign ended, but it left scars on both the demon worlds and the Orthodox realms. Even now, his na is synonymous with chaos and destruction."

Lin Mu let out a low whistle. "And yet his legacy endures… a mausoleum hidden sowhere, and this flying skull as a remnant of his past."

Karlia nodded. "For better or worse, Bazgazeal's story is a part of our history. But it's a history most would rather forget. That's why I'm willing to entrust you with this map. If anyone can uncover the truth, it's you."

Lin Mu felt the weight of her words and the significance of the task ahead.

As excited as Lin Mu felt about finding more about it he knew it wasn't sothing he could do overnight. Rather than rushing into it, he decided to ask the questions he had noted down in his mind.

There were quite a few and they covered a lot of aspects of the Demons as well as their abilities.
