'Did he go out?' ng Bai wondered before turning to his desk.

Pouring fresh ink into the bowl, he picked up his brush and began to write.

Barely a minute later, his hand paused.

"How is it… easier?" ng Bai muttered in surprise.

Unbeknownst to him, the feast had not only strengthened his body but sharpened his mind as well.

He looked at the runes he had written on the sheet that had already been filled.

Before this, it took him at least five minutes to fill a sheet when he was writing with a focus on improving, but now he had finished the entire thing in just a minute. It was a fivefold increase and was surprising to him.

While the runes themselves might not have improved much, ng Bai was finding them a lot more familiar now.

'Looks like finishing the barrel of ink might not be out of reach now,' ng Bai thought to himself, feeling more motivated than before.

He picked up another sheet and started writing.

One sheet, two sheets, five sheets, ten sheets, twenty sheets…

In just a couple of hours, ng Bai had finished over fifty sheets, which left him stunned at the end.

And this wasn't just because of his speed either, but rather due to the quality of the runes.

"I've actually improved!?" ng Bai observed the runes on his latest sheet.

While they were still crooked, he made fewer mistakes than before, and the strokes were a lot smoother.

Unknown to him, this was the result of Lin Mu purifying his ridians and Dantian, as well as the food that he had eaten. With better nutrition, his body was working more efficiently, and his brain was also learning faster. Not to ntion his control over his fingers and arm was better too.

Seeing such visible improvent, ng Bai was excited and continued his work.

Two days passed like this as ng Bai continued to steadily improve. During the night, he would have a large al that would recharge him, giving him enough energy for the entire day such that he didn't even need to sleep. It wasn't that he didn't wish to eat three als a day; it was simply that he couldn't.

He couldn't fit that much in his body, not to ntion it also took him at least eight to ten hours to actually absorb it all.

During this ti, Lin Mu was busy reading and had finished around a hundred books that he had transcribed into the jade slip. He still had many more to read, thus couldn't be bothered to stop. He did observe ng Bai from ti to ti with his Immortal Sense and saw the improvent in the boy's writing.

"You don't even have an estimate?" Another hunter from the next table asked.

"It's hard to tell, even Head Hunter Chung Pung couldn't tell," they replied.

"Is that true?" The hunters turned to the man in question.

"Yeah, he must be at least at the Fourth Tribulation Stage of the Immortal Realm or higher," Chung Pung confird. "Plus, the way he looked and carried himself was also unique. He was certainly not a normal cultivator." He added.
