Lin Mu had planned to use the remaining Spectral Mirror Stones for one final attempt—when he believed the ti was right and he could truly manifest the perfect illusion.

What he didn't know, however, was just how exceptional his progress truly was.

The number of stones he had consud?

It was barely a fraction of what was normally needed to comprehend, let alone master, this skill.

If the original creator of the Spectral Phantasm Strike had witnessed this, he might have started questioning whether he was the true originator… or if Lin Mu had sohow created the technique himself in a previous life.

For an ordinary cultivator, the cost to reach this level of proficiency would be at least ten tis as much—if not more.

But then again, Lin Mu wasn't just any ordinary cultivator.

What most people lacked was the synergy of elents and proficiencies Lin Mu brought to bear. They would learn the technique from scratch, relying solely on their immortal sense to copy the illusion through trial, error, and endless ditation. They would attempt to imitate what they saw, but they wouldn't understand it the way Lin Mu did—through the interaction of light, air, moisture, and fla.

Who knew how long it would take to master it that way?

In a strange but undeniable way, Lin Mu had an advantage from the very beginning.

And it wasn't just the Spectral Phantasm Strike or his control over fire, water, and air that was improving. Unbeknownst to even him, sothing else had been slowly growing in power deep within his dantian—silent, patient, and full of potential.

It was none other than the Four Faceted Nebula Dao Embryo.

More specifically, it was Lin Mu's Spatial Dao Embryo, the core of that embryonic entity that seed like a universe, absorbing vast amounts of ambient spatial energy every ti they entered a teleportation channel. It drank it in eagerly, hoarding that power, stockpiling it for when the ti ca to activate its first Facet: the Warp Skill.

Of course, it was still far from strong enough for Lin Mu to teleport freely within an Immortal World. But it was much more potent than it had been when he first set out.

His earlier clash with raw spatial energy had given the embryo an unexpected gift. During that mont of chaos, traces of uncontrolled spatial force had struck him. Yet instead of tearing his body apart, that energy had been absorbed by the embryo. It was the very reason Lin Mu had survived with only a recoil, rather than suffering a devastating injury.

Even now, the Dao Embryo was steadily drawing in ambient spatial energy like a sponge, ever-hungry, ever-growing.

Lin Mu had no accurate thod of asuring its capacity, but he could sense one thing for certain: it was at least twenty tis more charged than before.

Ti slipped by.

A little over seven months had passed since Lin Mu and his companions had escaped the collapsing Osteri World. And now, finally—finally—their destination ca into view.

"Huh?" Lin Mu paused mid-training, narrowing his eyes as he sensed a shift in the surrounding space.

SHUA

A ripple in the void.

His Spatial Perception flared, sweeping out through the passage like sonar. It returned a clear signal: a thinning in the walls of reality… a boundary.

He saw it.

The world barrier.

They were almost there.

"Just a few minutes away," Lin Mu estimated quietly, excitent flickering beneath his calm expression.

He quickly gathered his things, storing his remaining mirror stones and sealing his Qi techniques.

Then he called out, voice ringing across the floating courtyard.

"Everyone, get ready!" Lin Mu shouted. "We're about to arrive!"

"We are?" ng Bai looked up from his work, startled. He had been mid-stroke, carefully inscribing a rune.

POOF

A single drop of ink slipped off the brush, smudging the delicate talisman. It fizzled, destabilized—and promptly burst into ash.

"Aw man! And I was so close, too!" ng Bai groaned in frustration.

"Co on, you can redo it later," Daoist Chu said, giving the boy a pat on the back. "Don't forget your pill."

"Oh—right!" ng Bai fumbled into his pouch, producing a small pill. "Can't forget this bad boy. Don't want to puke my guts out again."

He swallowed the anti-nausea pill with a grimace.

"Amitabha…" a soft chant echoed as Monk Hushu stepped out into the courtyard, robes swaying gently with his motion. "I can almost feel the embrace of my ho."

The group began to gather.

The Saintess, as usual, remained out of sight, though Lin Mu knew she was nearby, observing.

"How long has it been?" Daoist Chu asked as they stood together.

Monk Hushu rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm… I believe… a hundred and thirty-two years?"

"That long?" Lin Mu's brows rose.

"Indeed," the monk nodded. "Though, to us, it may as well have been a few months. Ti becos… malleable after a certain point."

Lin Mu nodded slowly. "That does make sense…"

For him, though, it had been longer than he'd even been alive.

If the others were to learn of his true age, they'd certainly be shocked. And strangely, it had never really co up—not in any way that required clarification. He had simply… forgotten to ntion it.

But that was a matter for another ti.

Because now, at long last, a new world awaited.

SHUA

The air pulsed with spatial energy as a gate opened into the Silent Lotus World.

"Three… two… one…" Lin Mu counted down.

And then—reality shifted.

There was a brief white flash, and a mont where their bodies felt completely weightless.

Then—colors.

Stone-grey walls rose around them, the air heavy with incense and guarded tension. Daoist cultivators stood at key points, wearing traditional robes and carrying ceremonial weapons.

SHUA

Lin Mu's gaze swept the surroundings imdiately, instincts on high alert. He had learned to expect the unexpected.

And sure enough—his caution was justified.

The guards' eyes narrowed. Hands moved.

Swords were drawn.

"HALT!" a voice bood out. "State your affiliation and how you arrived!"
