Lin Mu observed his Dantian.

There, in the boundless space of his inner world, the marble settled at the very center like a cosmic seed.

And then it blood.

A radiant burst of light swept through the Dantian as a new Dao Shell ford around the sheath.

It wasn’t sothing Lin Mu consciously tried to do—it simply happened, an act of inevitability, as if the heavens themselves had ordained this developnt. The Dao Shell grew in layers—each layer etched with incomprehensible runes that pulsed with power, drawn from Sword Intent, formation runes, and sothing else... sothing higher.

When it finally stabilized, Lin Mu looked within and saw it clearly.

Floating at the core of his being, surrounded by a shell that looked like a cocoon woven from swords, was the marble-sized sheath. It did not pulse with arrogance. It did not shout for recognition. It simply existed.

But its existence reshaped the entire world within him.

His ridians, his qi, his intent, even his soul—all had subtly adjusted around it.

It was no longer a foreign object.

It was a part of him.

And in that mont, Lin Mu heard it—not with his ears, but with every fiber of his being.

A na. Not one he invented, but one the world itself whispered into him.

"Sword Cradle Divine Sheath Dao Embryo."

The words echoed like ancient chants across his immortal qi sea.

He stood in silence for what felt like a long ti, absorbing the aning behind the na.

A sheath that could cradle divine swords.

A form ant not just to wield a sword but to hold it, nurture it, complete it.

And more than that... it was a Dao Embryo.

His Sword Dao Embryo.

Lin Mu let out a slow breath, his heart thudding in a mix of awe and clarity.

He had not chosen a sword to walk upon.

He had beco the one upon which swords could rest.

This was not a path of severance.

This was the path of containnt, of unity—of cradle and blade as one.

Now he understood why the Sword Embryos had fled from the formation sword.

Why they had scattered like frightened animals.

They had seen sothing greater.

Sothing ancient.

Perhaps sothing... destined.

Lin Mu’s fingers flexed slightly, his eyes still closed as he stood atop the floating cliff, his Sword Heart pulsing in quiet rhythm with the sheath now resting inside him.

It felt as though the edge he had walked for so long had stripped away all distractions, all pretenses, all illusions.

And now... only the truth remained.

No fireworks followed.

No divine lights rained from the heavens to announce his success.

But Lin Mu didn’t need them.

He simply knew—he had passed the trial.

Not with borrowed power.

Not with preexisting legacies.

But with the resonance of sothing ancient and his own conviction.

He opened his eyes, the world before him still dim and vast. The floating cliff stood firm beneath his feet.

And far above, in the distant firmant of this strange Sacred Ground...

A single crack of golden light tore across the dark sky.

Then another.

And another.

The fabric of this realm was shifting—no longer challenging him, but accepting him.

Acknowledging the birth of a new path.

The Sword Cradle Divine Sheath had ford.

And Lin Mu... was now one step closer to standing among the true immortals of legend.

But he didn’t smile.

He didn’t cheer.

He rely breathed, calm and steady.

For there was still a path ahead.

And he would walk it—with blade at his back and resolve in his heart.

With the formation of the Sword Cradle Divine Sheath Dao Embryo, Lin Mu thought the resonance within his body would finally settle.

And yet, it stirred.

It pulsed.

It called.

The call wasn’t made with sound or words, nor was it a telepathic ssage. It was a feeling—a primal instinct thrumming through his bones, his soul, and his Sword Heart. It was as if a sleeping dragon had opened one eye and beckoned.

The sensation originated from the sheath—no, from the very will of the Dao Embryo itself. Lin Mu stilled his breathing, tuning into it with his full focus.

He understood instantly.

The Sword Cradle Divine Sheath did not wish to remain resting peacefully within the depths of his Dantian, basking in the serene flow of Immortal Qi like so heavenly heirloom.

No.

It desired to follow him.

To carry his burdens.

To face the world alongside him.

It wanted to exist in the mortal plane, exposed to the wind and rain, not to be tucked away like a precious treasure.

Lin Mu couldn’t help but chuckle softly. "So you’re that kind of companion, huh?" he whispered, warmth lacing his voice.

He extended his hand again, reaching inward, and with a single thought, willed the sheath to exit his Dantian.

The response was imdiate.

A ripple of silver and black surged outward from his chest as the Sword Cradle Divine Sheath erged, its form expanding into the air with a quiet hum, full of power and poise. It didn’t gleam like polished tal, nor radiate blinding brilliance like a holy relic—but it was profound.

Solid. Steadfast.

An aura of silent strength poured from it, grounding Lin Mu like the roots of a mountain.

The sheath ca to rest gently on his back.

As soon as it did, the Dao Shell—previously floating in a spherical form around it—began to shift. It stretched and morphed, dissolving into glowing golden runes that flowed outward like silk threads, wrapping around the sheath in an intricate pattern.

Monts later, the runes fused into a sheath strap, wide and strong, slinging diagonally across Lin Mu’s chest and shoulder, locking the Sword Cradle firmly in place.

He rotated his shoulder slightly. It felt... right.

The balance was perfect. The weight was real yet strangely unburdenso. In fact, he felt lighter, as though sothing missing from his very being had finally returned.

The presence of the sheath brought with it a quiet calm, like a loyal companion breathing at his back.

But it did not stop there.
