Lin Mu walked off the stage. The referee stared at him as if trying to comprehend divine logic.
One of the audience mbers shouted dramatically, "Why? Why would you abandon greatness?"
Lin Mu waved and left.
And with that, the rumors increased again.
So said Lin Mu was so powerful he was bored.
So said he was so confident he knew the streaks ant nothing.
Others said he did not care about fa, only about his companions. All were true.
Regardless, this month forever changed the pace of the tournant.
Usually, the eliminations dragged on for months. But because Lin Mu and Cattaleya swept through thousands upon thousands of contestants in re days, the number of participants plumted dramatically faster than the organizers expected.
rchants began panicking.
Restaurants and hotels, which had prepared for a three to four month event, suddenly realized the tournant might end in two months.
Stockpiles of food, drinks, artifacts, and souvenirs were overflowing.
Businesses scrambled to create flash promotions and limited edition products to take advantage of what ti remained.
The entire Great Fist City entered a chaotic, excited frenzy.
And then things escalated even further.
In the next two weeks, many more strong contestants finally entered the main rings.
Most notable among them were the following groups:
Two Direct Legacy disciples of the Martial Fist King Sect who were famous even among immortals.
One independent body cultivator with a rough appearance and unknown background who effortlessly defeated two thousand opponents in one streak. Seven body cultivators from different worlds across the eastern Court of the immortal Realm. These individuals were rumored to have trained in extre environnts ranging from Nine Storm Mountains to the Shattered Bone Abyss.
What made these individuals terrifying was not just their power, but their cultivation.
None were below the Sixth Tribulation Stage.

Cattaleya, upon seeing the Seventh Tribulation fighters, grinned so widely that ng Bai wondered if she was going to challenge them right on the streets.
Lin Mu simply nodded with interest. He had been waiting for real opponents.
Elyon took notes of all their fighting styles, analyzing weaknesses and advantages. When he noticed one had a body technique similar to the Diamond Colossus Art, he clicked his tongue and muttered, "Troubleso."
Daoist Chu placed small wagers on these fighters, not because he expected them to beat Lin Mu or Catt, but because any profit was good profit.
And ng Bai spent most of his ti training harder. Watching the high level fights made him realize again how far he had to go.
By the ti two more weeks passed, the structure of the tournant had changed dramatically.
Over ninety nine percent of all participants were already eliminated.
Only twelve fighters remained.
And among those twelve were Lin Mu and Cattaleya.
Their entries into the semi finals were unquestioned. They had crushed so many opponents that the weaker contestants had long decided to surrender imdiately if paired against them.

Cattaleya, the One Flick Woman, feared across the city.
Lin Mu, the One Punch Man, feared even more due to his rciless beating of Elder Juwang and a few others.
Two core disciples of the Martial Fist King Sect, both Seventh Tribulation Stage immortals.
A mysterious independent cultivator known simply as Blueback, with muscles
like slabs of stone.
Eight powerhouses from other worlds, each with deadly reputations.
Not a single person among them was weak.
This was the true battlefield.

electric, as the very first semi final match was announced. The stands overflowed with spectators, and even the elders of the Martial Fist King sect leaned forward in their seats with visible anticipation. This was no ordinary
match anymore.
The opening fight was none other than Cattaleya versus Daoist Black Leg.
Two monsters of pure physique. Two fighters known for breaking rules,
breaking records, and breaking bones.
The crowd trembled with excitent.
Even Lin Mu, seated with the Dongxu clan's section, felt the pressure shifting in
the air as the stadium arrays began to hum louder in preparation for high level
combat. If Cattaleya flicked too hard again, reinforcing arrays might not be
enough to save the audience.
ng Bai rubbed his hands in excitent. "Master, this one actually looks like a
proper fight."
Lin Mu nodded, observing the stage. "Yes. Daoist Black Leg was strong centuries ago. He should be even stronger now."
He had gathered a bit of information about many contestants and knew about
the man too.
Daoist Chu let out a hum. "Peak Immortal realm body cultivator. Gifts of his
world must be interesting."
Cattaleya cracked her knuckles as she hopped over the railings and landed on
the arena floor, her landing shaking the stone tiles like a small teor had
fallen. The audience roared, screaming her title.
"One Flick Woman!"
"One Flick!"
"One Flick!"
Across from her, Daoist Black Leg walked in with far less fanfare. Yet the
mont his foot touched the stage, the stone beneath it groaned and dented
slightly.
That alone silenced half the stadium.
This man was not ordinary.
Lin Mu narrowed his eyes slightly. 'Yes. That's definitely the Mammoth Gait. The movent technique of the Fissure Leg Mammoth Technique that allowed the cultivator's legs to replicate traces of the ancient Mammoth Beasts who once shook mountains with every step.
Daoist Black Leg looked nothing like a mammoth though. Instead of a towering muscular beast, the man looked like a starved scholar who had lost a fight with a butcher knife. His limbs were thin, his cheeks slightly sunken, and his black hair tied loosely behind him. If no one knew better, they'd assu he was sickly.
