The atmosphere inside the carriage had changed drastically after the recordings finished.

For several minutes neither Huli Zu nor Miyeon spoke.

Both siblings simply sat there, staring at Lin Mu and Cattaleya with expressions

that had completely lost their earlier casualness.

Huli Zu in particular looked as if his soul had temporarily left his body.

His hands were trembling slightly.

And he had begun sweating... Profusely.

Lin Mu noticed the change and raised a brow slightly.

"Lord Huli?"

Huli Zu jolted.

"Yes!?"

He quickly straightened his posture.

Then he wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Then more sweat appeared.

Cattaleya leaned slightly toward ng Bai and whispered loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Is he lting?"

ng Bai quickly looked away to hide a smile. But Huli Zu did not even react to the comnt. He was far too busy panicking internally.

Because now that the shock had worn off, reality was setting in.

Quite hard.

These were not just random travelers.

They were individuals who had competed in the Martial Fist King Tournant.

That tournant was one of the most prestigious events within the Eastern Immortal Court.

The people who participated in it were considered elite powerhouses.

And according to the recordings they had just watched, Lin Mu and Cattaleya were not rely participants.

They were among the most dominant competitors and the final winners.

Huli Zu swallowed.

Because now he rembered sothing extrely important.

Protocol.

According to the regulations governing the teleportation halls, any cultivator of such reputation and power entering their world had to be imdiately

reported to the Kingdom's Elder Council.

And not just reported.

They had to be formally received.

With a Royal Welco.

Processions.

Ceremonies.

Diplomatic escorts.

Everything.

Instead...

Huli Zu had casually greeted them at the teleportation hall.

Invited them to tea.

Then thrown them into a carriage ride to the capital.

Without even filing a preliminary report.

His face turned pale.

"Oh no..."

He muttered under his breath.

Lin Mu tilted his head slightly.

"Is sothing wrong?"

Huli Zu forced a smile.

"No."

"Yes."

"Maybe."

He wiped his forehead again.

"It's just... protocol."

Daoist Chu looked amused.

"Protocol?"

Huli Zu groaned quietly.

"For guests of your status, we are required to inform the Royal Elders

imdiately."

"And provide a formal reception worthy of your standing."

He buried his face in his hands briefly.

"But I didn't do any of that."

Cattaleya grinned.

"Sounds like a you problem."

Huli Zu let out a weak laugh.

"It definitely is."

He looked toward Miyeon helplessly.

"If the Elders find out I casually escorted Martial Fist King Tournant winners

in a travel carriage..."

He shuddered.

"They will nag to death."

Then his expression turned even worse.

"And the paperwork."

He stared blankly ahead.

"The paperwork will be endless."

Miyeon sighed softly.

While her brother continued spiraling into administrative despair, she had

already begun taking action.

She calmly activated another jade slip and sent a transmission.

Lin Mu noticed.

"You are informing the capital?"

Miyeon nodded.

"Yes,"

"I have sent word to the Royal Administration."

"They will prepare to receive you."

Lin Mu shook his head slightly.

"That really is not necessary."

Huli Zu imdiately shook his head even harder.

"No.""

"That is absolutely necessary."

He pointed dramatically toward the sky.

"If we do not report this properly, the consequences will be far worse."

Daoist Chu chuckled and patted Lin Mu's shoulder.

"You may as well get used to it. This is how the immortal world works."

Lin Mu sighed softly.

"I suppose you are right."

Miyeon added another thought. "This may actually be beneficial."

Lin Mu looked at her.

"How so?"

"If the Royal Administration formally recognizes your presence here," she

explained, "it will make it much easier for you to request entry into the Mother

Forest"

Lin Mu paused for a mont.

That point was difficult to argue against. The Mother Forest was sacred territory and if royal authority supported their request, access would likely

beco much simpler.

He nodded slowly.

"That does make things easier."

Still, Lin Mu had another plan in mind.

Regardless of political convenience, he still intended to visit the Temple of the

Guardian Beasts.

Those sacred beings had played a significant role in his cultivation journey.

The techniques he had received from them had saved his life more than once.

Paying his respects was the least he could do.

The journey continued.

With the tension broken, the conversation gradually returned to a more relaxed

tone.

However, the Huli siblings now treated Lin Mu and Cattaleya with noticeably

greater respect.

Much of the remaining travel ti was filled with stories.

Interestingly, most of them ca from Cattaleya.

Unlike Lin Mu, who tended to speak modestly about his experiences, Cattaleya

had no such reservations.

She began recounting her adventures across the immortal realms.

And the stories were wild.

She had traveled across multiple worlds.

Fought countless powerful opponents.

Explored ancient ruins.

Challenged sect masters.

And visited places that most cultivators would never even hear about.

Huli Zu and Miyeon listened with growing astonishnt.

"You have traveled through every quadrant of the Immortal Courts?" Miyeon

asked.

Cattaleya nodded casually while biting into a fruit.

"More or less." "And the Farlands?" Huli Zu asked cautiously.

Cattaleya grinned.

"Been there too."

Both siblings froze.

"The Farlands?"

"Yes."

Huli Zu shook his head slowly.

"Very few cultivators willingly go there."

Miyeon nodded in agreent.

"The Immortal Courts have little authority in the Farlands."

"Which ans lawlessness."

Daoist Chu added quietly.

"Many evil sects hide there." "Unorthodox cultivators as well." Cattaleya shrugged.

"Exactly." "That's what makes it fun."

Huli Zu stared at her as if she had just casually ntioned taking a walk

through a battlefield.

By the ti her stories ended, the siblings had beco even more convinced

that their passengers were terrifying individuals.

Two days passed quickly during the journey.

The carriage continued traveling across the Central Ho Continent's well

maintained roads.

Finally, on the third day, the capital city ca into view.

ng Bai leaned toward the window first.

"Wow..."
