Now reading: Chapter 3582 The Guardian Beast Decree from Walker Of The Worlds, a Action novel by Grandvoiddaoist.

"It is the least I can do. I cannot promise success, but I will do my best to study the problem and see whether Beast Qi can help stabilize their bloodlines." Lin Mu stated.

Both Guardian Spirits visibly relaxed when they heard his answer.

The Vermilion Bird's fiery wings fluttered gently as she nodded in approval. "That is all we ask.""

The Azure Dragon lowered his massive head slightly in acknowledgnt. "Your willingness alone is already appreciated."

Temple Head Puyi, who had been listening quietly throughout the entire conversation, felt a subtle wave of relief wash through him as well.

The fate of the two foxkin clans had weighed heavily on the temple's records for generations. If Lin Mu's unusual abilities could even slightly improve the situation, it would be a blessing for the entire world.

After a mont of silence, the Azure Dragon shifted his attention toward the temple head.

"Temple Head."

Puyi straightened imdiately.

"Yes, honored guardian."

"Prepare the Guardian Decree for him."

The words made the old foxkin freeze.

"The Guardian Decree?" he repeated in surprise.

Lin Mu also looked slightly puzzled.

"I have already requested a letter of passage from the king" he said politely. "His Majesty promised to prepare a missive and entry token that will allow to enter the Mother Forest."

The Vermilion Bird gave a soft chuckle, her voice carrying a faint hint of amusent.

"The king's letter will certainly help."

"But our decree is better."

The Azure Dragon nodded.

"With the Guardian Decree, no one within this world will question you."

Temple Head Puyi quickly recovered from his initial surprise and bowed his head respectfully. "Indeed. It would be wise for Honorable Disciple to possess both."

He turned toward Lin Mu and explained further.

"The king's missive and entry token will grant you formal permission to enter the Mother Forest. However, if any complications arise or if certain individuals attempt to obstruct your passage, the Guardian Decree will override all authority within this world."

Lin Mu considered this briefly before nodding.

"A backup is always useful."

The two Guardian Spirits seed satisfied with that answer.

"Then it is settled," said the Vermilion Bird.

The Azure Dragon added, "We wish you success in the matter of the foxkin bloodlines."

Their imnse forms slowly began to fade as the spiritual energy sustaining their manifestation gradually diminished. The glow surrounding their bodies softened, and their outlines beca increasingly transparent.

Before their forms fully disappeared, the Vermilion Bird spoke once more.

"If you ever require assistance in this world, you may return here and call upon

us."

The Azure Dragon finished the statent calmly.

"We will do what we can to help."

With those final words, the two ancient spirits dissolved into streams of light that flowed back into the statues of the Azure Dragon and the Vermilion Bird. The temple arrays gradually quieted as the energy supporting their manifestation returned to dormancy.

The hall returned to its normal stillness.

Lin Mu stood silently for a mont before bowing respectfully toward the statues.

"Thank you."

Temple Head Puyi also bowed deeply.

Once the ritual gestures were complete, the temple head turned and gestured for Lin Mu to follow him.

"Please co with . I will prepare the decree."

They exited the inner chamber of the temple together as the beasts followed along while pushing the absentminded ng Bai. As they walked through the quiet corridors, Puyi reached into his robes and retrieved a special jade container from his storage ring. Inside rested a unique token unlike any ordinary identification seal.

When he opened the container, Lin Mu saw that the object resembled a jade stamp.

Its body was carved from deep Red Blood Immortal jade, and each of its four corners bore the image of one of the Guardian Beasts. The Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise were intricately engraved

around the edges.

The bottom of the stamp contained an ancient array formation that shimred faintly with dormant spiritual power.

Temple Head Puyi held it carefully with both hands before presenting it to Lin

Mu.

"This is the Guardian Beast Decree."

His tone carried unmistakable reverence.

"The one who holds this seal possesses authority equal to that of the Temple

Head of this world's Guardian Beast Temple."

He paused before adding, "And that authority is backed by the will of the

Guardian Beasts themselves."

Lin Mu accepted the jade stamp and examined it carefully.

The spiritual aura within it was extrely ancient.

Temple Head Puyi continued his explanation.

"With this decree in your possession, every kingdom within the Fox Scion

World will acknowledge your authority. If necessary, you may command their cooperation in matters related to the Guardian Beasts."

Lin Mu nodded slowly before firmly holding it in his hand.

"I will not use it recklessly."

The temple head smiled faintly.

"I know you will not."

But inwardly, Puyi could not help thinking about sothing else entirely.

In truth, Lin Mu did not even need the decree.

If he truly wished to exert authority, all he needed to do was speak one na.

Xukong.

The re ntion of that being could cause shockwaves across the Immortal

Realm. The heads of the Four Immortal Courts themselves might personally appear if summoned by such a lineage. Entire fleets of the Immortal Court's massive armies could mobilize at a single command if it truly ca from the

Void Weaver Spider's disciple.

Compared to such power, the authority of a single world's Guardian Temple

was insignificant.

This entire world was barely a grain of sand in the vast cosmic sea.

While Puyi was lost in these thoughts, they reached the outer temple

courtyard.

There they saw

Minister Ren.

familiar figure approaching quickly.

The foxkin official had clearly been pacing around outside the temple for quite

so ti. His expression was filled with confusion and anxiety. When he

finally spotted Lin Mu and Temple Head Puyi erging from the temple doors,

he hurried toward them with visible relief.

"My lord temple head, I-" He stopped mid-sentence.
