A while later, Daoist Chu's words surfaced in Lin Mu's mind.
They had been drinking at the ti. The man had been in high spirits, speaking at length about the dangers of dealing with multiple won and the various strategies one could employ.
Treat them equally.
Ignore them.
Offend them so they leave on their own.
Or make them hate him.
Lin Mu stared at the chaotic swarm of Fire Dao Embryos.
None of those thods seed directly applicable.
He could not exactly offend them.
Nor could he truly ignore them.
Treating them equally was even more absurd. it was not like he could take them all.
He thought for a long mont.
Then, slowly, a strange idea ford.
Lin Mu cleared his throat.
"All right," he said loudly, his voice echoing across the fiery realm.
The Dao Embryos paused.
Not completely, but enough for their attention to shift toward him.
Lin Mu stood up.
He clasped his hands behind his back and began to walk slowly through the air, as if inspecting them.
"You are all excellent," he said.
The flas flickered.
"You are powerful, unique, and each of you represents a peak of the Fire Dao."
The Dao Embryos grew quieter.
Lin Mu nodded as if acknowledging their presence individually.
"Truly, choosing any one of you would be a great fortune."
A few of them drifted closer.
Then Lin Mu stopped.
He turned, facing the entire sea of flas.
"But unfortunately," he continued, "I only have one dantian."
There was a pause.
A very long pause.
The Dao Embryos seed… confused.
Lin Mu raised a finger.
"If I choose one of you, the rest of you will not be able to co with ."
The flas wavered.
"Now, think about it carefully," Lin Mu said, his tone calm, almost persuasive. "If you all keep fighting like this, none of you will be chosen."
That made them hesitate.
He pressed on.
"Instead, why not let the most suitable one co forward?"
A ripple passed through the sea of flas.
Lin Mu smiled faintly.
"And if that one fails ," he added casually, "I will co back and choose another."
Lin Mu knew his words were basically ridiculous. There was never a case of a cultivator being able to replace their Dao Embryo. But it did not seem like the Dao Embryos knew that. He didn't even know if they had proper intelligence or were acting on instincts.
That statent caused a noticeable reaction.
The Dao Embryos shifted.
The hostility began to fade, replaced by sothing more calculating.
Lin Mu folded his arms.
"After all," he said, "I am not rejecting any of you permanently. I am simply choosing the one most suited for my current need."
Silence followed.
Then, slowly, the swarm parted.
The countless Dao Embryos drifted aside, creating a path.
And from within that path, the All lt Furnace erged.
It floated forward, no longer obstructed.
Its flas burned steadily, its form stable and resolute.
Lin Mu watched it approach.
This ti, nothing blocked it.
When it reached him, he extended his hand, finally being able to move and not being suppressed.
The mont his fingers touched the furnace, everything changed.
HUALA
A surge of heat flooded into him.
It was not painful.
It was overwhelming.
Fire Dao Traces poured into his body, flowing through his ridians, embedding themselves into his very being. Along with them ca Dao Insights, fragnts of understanding that expanded his perception of fire far beyond what it had been before.
Within his dantian, sothing began to form.
The shape of a furnace.
The All lt Furnace Dao Embryo.
It took form gradually, its structure solidifying as the influx of Dao energy continued. Its presence anchored itself within him, becoming a part of his cultivation.
Outside the illusion, within the Dao Forge realm, the dwarf elders watched intently.
Lin Mu's body was glowing.
Brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold radiated from him, illuminating the surrounding space. The intensity of the light increased steadily, accompanied by a rising heat that even they could feel.
"He's close," one of the elders muttered.
The others nodded, their expressions serious.
Ti passed.
Then, finally, the light stabilized.
The glow condensed inward, drawing back into Lin Mu's body.
Within the do of runes, his figure beca clear once more.
And then, slowly, he opened his eyes.
A faint glow lingered within them, like embers that had yet to fade.
Inside his dantian, the All lt Furnace burned steadily, its presence firm and undeniable.
Lin Mu exhaled.
The Fire Dao Embryo was complete!
The mont the process was done, the change within the Dao Forge realm beca apparent.
The dense do of runes that had enclosed Lin Mu began to flicker. One by one, the symbols lost their intensity, their brilliance dimming as though their purpose had been fulfilled. The tightly packed formation loosened, the runes drifting apart like embers carried away by a fading wind.
From the outside, the dwarf elders watched closely as the barrier dissolved.
The layered shell of symbols thinned, becoming translucent, before finally dispersing entirely into the surrounding space. The mont it vanished, the connection between the inner illusion and the outer realm was severed.
Lin Mu stood revealed once more.
For a brief mont, he remained still.
Then he inhaled deeply.
The sensation was imdiate and profound.
The All lt Furnace within his dantian pulsed gently, its presence steady and unmistakable. It was not an intrusive force. It felt natural, as if it had always been a part of him waiting to awaken. The fire within it burned with a controlled intensity, radiating warmth that spread through his entire body.
Lin Mu slowly opened his eyes.
A faint glow lingered within them, reflecting the furnace that now resided inside him.
He stood up.
Every movent felt different.
It was not a matter of strength alone, but of understanding. His perception of fire had deepened significantly. Where before he could sense and manipulate flas, now he could comprehend their essence on a more fundantal level.
The knowledge ca naturally.
