Hearing Lin Mu's words, Xukong nodded calmly.
"Observe carefully," he said. "You may gain so useful insights."
Lin Mu imdiately sat down nearby.
Xukong then began.
The giant spider raised several of his bone white legs into the air. Thin silver threads erged from their tips, each thread shimring with dense Spatial Energy. Lin Mu's expression quickly turned serious.
The threads were unlike anything he had ever seen before.
Each one carried profound energy within it, and it wasn't Dao Traces, but pure Dao Insights!
The threads began weaving together in midair.
At first, Lin Mu thought Xukong was simply forming runes.
But after several minutes, he realized the truth was far deeper.
The threads themselves were the runes.
Every twist.
Every overlap.
Every crossing point.
Each one represented an incomprehensibly profound spatial structure.
The threads moved with elegant precision, forming symbols Lin Mu could barely comprehend.
So resembled ancient scripts.
Others resembled geotric structures impossible to describe properly.
Several runes appeared utterly alien even to his current understanding of Space Dao and Dao Script.
Xukong guided them calmly into Stasis.
The spear absorbed every thread silently. There was no outward glow, violent energy or any visible reaction. Everything occurred internally and that only made it more terrifying. Lin Mu's Spatial Perception extended fully as he tried desperately to observe the process.
Yet most of the deeper layers remained beyond him.
Still, he forced himself to watch every single movent.
Even if he only understood fragnts, those fragnts alone could benefit him imnsely later.
Ti passed quietly as days turned into weeks.
Outside the ring, the dwarven elders continued waiting near the fragnted world remains.
At first, they were patient.
Then gradually curiosity and concern began appearing.
After all, Lin Mu had simply sat motionless for days on end.
One week later, one of the elders finally scratched his beard heavily.
"We should probably inform Mantleheim," he muttered.
The others agreed readily.
Without another word, the elder left for the hidden dwarven kingdom.
anwhile, back in Mantleheim, Lin Mu's companions quickly learned that the forging process had succeeded.
The reaction was imdiate.
ng Bai nearly jumped in excitent.
Daoist Chu and Catt laughed loudly.
Even Elyon seed genuinely pleased.
But among all of them, Jing Wei reacted differently.
The old man suddenly froze mid conversation.
Then his eyes widened slightly as if rembering sothing important.
ng Bai noticed imdiately.
"Senior Jing Wei?" he asked curiously.
Jing Wei rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
Then suddenly he burst into laughter.
"We need to prepare a huge celebration," he declared.
The others looked confused.
Cattaleya crossed her arms.
"For the spears?" she asked.
Jing Wei shook his head imdiately.
"No, no. The spears are only part of it."
His expression softened slightly afterward.
"It is for Lin Mu's birthday."
The others paused.
ng Bai blinked.
Then realization slowly appeared on his face.
Jing Wei nodded with a smile.
"That fool probably forgot again."
While Lin Mu and Xukong remained busy within the ring, the hidden kingdom of Mantleheim slowly entered a state that many dwarves had not experienced in centuries.
The preparations for celebration had begun.
At first, the matter had spread slowly.
One elder had inford another. Then a few craftsn heard. Then the taverns learned of it. Then the forge masters learned of it.
Within less than a single day, practically the entirety of Mantleheim knew that the human nad Lin Mu, the one who had worked alongside the Transcendent Elders and helped create two unimaginable weapons from a material beyond the understanding of immortals, was soon to celebrate his birthday.
And once the dwarves heard the word celebration, things naturally spiraled far beyond moderation.
Especially after they learned that Lin Mu was considered a true friend of the dwarves.
The entire atmosphere of Mantleheim changed.
For the first ti in ages, several of the great forge towers stopped burning entirely.
The constant rhythmic hamring that usually echoed throughout the lava island weakened day by day until entire districts beca oddly quiet. Rivers of lava still flowed through the city, and smoke still drifted from chimneys, but the pace of life had changed dramatically.
Many younger dwarves stared at the silent forges with disbelief.
So even joked that the world might be ending.
Others claid this was probably a sign that the Ancestors themselves approved of Lin Mu.
anwhile, Lin Mu's companions remained utterly unaware of the true reason behind all the sudden excitent.
At the mont, they were gathered inside one of the massive stone halls near the residential quarter that had been temporarily assigned to them. Several dwarves hurried in and out carrying barrels, furniture, tal decorations, and endless amounts of alcohol.
ng Bai watched the chaos with confusion.
"What exactly is happening?" he asked while stepping aside to avoid a pair of mountain dwarves carrying an entire roasted beast over their shoulders.
Jing Wei sat calmly nearby drinking ale from a heavy tal mug.
"It is a celebration," he answered casually.
"That part is obvious," Daoist Chu snorted. "The question is what kind of celebration requires enough liquor to drown a sect... literally."
One of the nearby dwarves overheard that and imdiately shouted proudly.
"Only enough for the first day!"
The hall erupted into laughter.
Cattaleya leaned against one of the pillars while swirling dark liquor within a tal cup.
"So this is really for Lin Mu's birthday?" she asked.
Jing Wei nodded.
ng Bai looked surprised.
"Senior Lin Mu never ntioned his birthday before."
Jing Wei chuckled softly.
"That fool barely rembers it himself half the ti."
That statent made the others laugh slightly.
Though after a few monts, curiosity began appearing on their faces.
ng Bai was the first to ask.
"How old is Senior Lin Mu turning?" he questioned.
The others imdiately looked over as well.
Truthfully, none of them had ever thought much about Lin Mu's age before.
It was never sothing that ca up naturally.
Cultivators rarely discussed age unless there was a specific reason. After all, once lifespan extended into hundreds or thousands of years, ordinary concepts of age slowly lost importance.
And Lin Mu himself never acted concerned about it either.
