The only reply I get from my welco is a wide and smiling teary face and a hiccupped sob before I rush my weary bones over to the returned Sandra and wrap her in a crushing hug. A little breath escapes her before I loosen up sowhat, a wet giggle escaping past her lips that tickles both my ear and soul as she returns the embrace with enthusiasm.
The need for words between us in that mont is replaced by the overflowing emotions filtering back and forth between our bond, a couple sniffles from behind making it known that those sa emotions are likely slipping to Akiko and the others as well. Not like I have great control of myself at the mont, after all.
I ignore it all though and just bask in the prismatic warmth that radiates off of the press of Sandra's chest to mine. How her head slots perfectly into the crook of my neck. The softness of her skin and the clenched fingers that bunch up the fabric on the back of my robe as silent tears drip down her face. The relief palpable from both of us, the winding and sotis dark road we walked - both alone and together - to finally be reunited.
We stay like that until the shadows begin to elongate from the passing of the sun overhead, Jun Li and the others haven taken to the skies to ensure that anyone stupid enough to interrupt our reunion would not live long enough to regret their decision. All the while Sandra and I never stop cuddling and pressing our bodies into each other, a kind of unspoken fear that any distance between us would sohow break the spell, make us wake from this wonderful dream.
Thankfully, its real. She's back and now safe and sound in my arms at last. Not only as my sister and soone I cherish, but as my proper and true soulmate. Soone I can't wait to return the zealous love she has quietly shown all her life in full. A process that won't ever be completed as I know we will always have more love to give to each other, but I make a promise to myself to never stop until her heart, mind, and soul are nearly bursting with the sa love she has shown .
Toward the end of the ti we are intertwined together, I feel Akiko flying up to the aftermath of our battle in the skies and pull out a talisman. When she does, I finally - if not involuntarily - pull my face out of Sandra's new crimson hair to give a questioning look as all of the remaining Heavenly energy begins to be sucked into the little paper tag. Prismatic and golden particles flood forward as Akiko floats from one side of the battlefield to the other until all the remaining traces of our fight are absorbed.
"I bet she wants to use the energy in the soon to be replaced formation that you broke on your second tribulation. Pretty smart really, passively absorbing Heavenly energy during cultivation should give all of us a pretty substantial power boost." Sandra says with her face pressed against mine, both of us happily enjoying the squishing of our cheeks without complaint.
Akiko, who was already heading back to us, simply chuckles as she lands, a warm smile pulling at her lips as she nods. "That is indeed correct, Sandra, and I sincerely bid you a most happy welco to Mara." The snow white kitsune gives a deep, elegant bow - sothing I've never seen her do for soone else - before she stands and resus her thoughts.
"While I am unsure if it will be of much aid to either of you due to the oddness of your system, incorporating this frankly absurd amount of Heavenly energy into the new cultivation chamber will undoubtedly be of aid to myself and the girls. Are you both well enough to travel back to the Village? Or would you prefer to linger for a while longer? The temperature will begin to drop in a matter of hours."
Oh shit! Sandra's still naked as a jay bird! I give an apologetic smile back to Sandra who rely chuckles and nuzzles into again. "I'm plenty warm right here~. But yeah, maybe I should get so clothes so I'm not flashing the whole city on our way in."
My points dip by about a thousand as a spatial ring appears on Sandra's finger, then a flowing robe almost a color swapped mirror of my own flutters to life in a wave of Qi. I gasp, mostly because she sohow looks even more attractive with the way the robe clings to her silhouette but also due to the ease at which she can just spend points. And how she can sohow already use Qi.
She gives a little wink before at least answering the latter reason for my outburst, "It's harder to do if you aren't a cultivator yet, but even normal people can use Qi so long as they know the fundantals. Otherwise, how would people begin to cultivate in the first place~? Now co on, baby girl~. As much as I love having rocks and ruined tree roots poking my butt, I think there are much more comfortable places we could continue our fated reunion at, hmm~?"
About this ti the one of the girls also reappear, Samantha stepping forward to Akiko and the still sitting forms of Sandra and I before she says happily, "I am beyond overjoyed that the ritual was a success, for both of you. Although I don't think I would like to face that level of ire from Heaven again any ti soon~."
Sandra smiles up to Sam and offers a genuine, "Thank you, Samantha~. For protecting and being keeping my baby girl sane and safe."
Sam returns the smile, even going so far as leaning forward and ruffling her hair so - sothing that unsettles for so reason - before the blonde swordswoman adopts a more serious set to her features. "Unfortunately, Jun Li has already encountered and dispatched several scouts from varying factions looking to gain access while you two were reuniting. I fear that it will only be a matter of ti before this location is set upon by any myriad of those groups. If we wish to shield Sandra's identity like we did for Alia in the beginning, I would advise us to depart as soon as possible."
Right. Sandra is basically a mortal right now. I doubt anyone would try sothing stupid right at this mont, but the less word that gets around about her existence right now, the better. Especially when those words and reports would no doubt find their way to the capital forces before the upcoming eting. And from what Akiko has said about those folks, they're already going to be pissing themselves because of Heaven's response and the defeat that we just handed to it.
I stand, scooping Sandra up in my arms as she lets out an adorable little "Eep!" before turning to the rest of them and then looking down toward her blushing face~. Oh, I cannot wait to eat her up~... Wait, right. I had sothing to say.
"I-it's up to you ultimately sunshine, but I think at least until the initial eting with those fuckers over in the capital we should probably keep you under wraps. How fast do you think you can cultivate once we get you manuals and stuff?"
Sandra gives a little smirk at my face now heating up to match hers before she leans up and gives a soft, loving kiss that nearly makes my knees give out. "Shouldn't take too long~. I'll at least be at your level or further by the ti we leave for the rendezvous spot. So long as you use that fancy dual cultivation technique between tribulations on of course~."
I feel Akiko's tails co to wrap both and my sister up while still letting 'hold' the absurd woman in my arms, my mouth hanging slack as I just stare at her in shock. "W-what?" Is all I can mutter before the ground once again leaves our feet and we are jetting through the air back towards the Village.
With the wind being blocked by Akiko's Qi, Sandra gives a couple cheeky laughs before resting her head against my breasts. "Frankly, we both probably could be at the 4th Rank before leaving for that eting if we wanted. The reason it takes folks longer to ascend is because they have to build Qi inside themselves and comprehend what is needed to ascend and challenge Heaven.
After we get a set of pills like you have and the manuals - and coupled with your amazing sex to perfect our foundations and the like~ - our only limit would be Qi. But you've already proven that that is kind of a... soft limit for us. You've only just started holding Qi inside your body, and that's only for your void skills. We may ask Ios... or Ilya..." She punctuates the na with a small growl before continuing, "But I think Qi works differently for us."
As we crest toward the edge of the twice over ruined forest, Jun Li and Gerra catch up and fly into formation. Jun Li - the absolute gem of a woman - takes one look at cradling Sandra who is in turn cradled by Akiko's tails and lets out an audible *squee~!* that catches all of our attention. Blushing despite her three black tails going into overdrive, she changes spots with Samantha and gives us a gigantic, lovely smile.
"You truly are twins~!! How splendid~! It is so nice to et you, dear Sandra!! I am so glad that everything went to plan, even if so cosmic forces were not happy to allow it~. Welco to Mara! If you ever need any healing or the like, please do not hesitate to call for ~!" And then so softly that I think she ant to keep it as an inside thought, she adds on, "Now there are two of them to pamper~! Hehe~!"
She stops short of actually drooling, but I think its a close thing by how much erm... eagerness is pushing between our bond. Sothing that I would usually be all for, but right now it only makes cinch my arms protectively around Sandra.
Before I can even analyze that reaction, Gerra floats up on the other side of us and adds in, "As our little shadow said, welco to Mara, Sandra~. If you're anything like your sister, I can't wait to see the silly faces you make when you try my cooking~."
Thankfully, the cat woman stops there and goes back to leisurely flying forward after Sandra replies in thanks to both of them. I... don't know if I could have stopped from snapping at her if she had been her usual, playful self.
But that's fine, right? It's literally the first day - the first few hours - that Sandra has been back. I'm just... easing her into things. Right. We just need a few weeks or a month or maybe a couple years of cuddling and loving and healing. By ourselves. So that we can make up for lost ti, of course. Yeah. It's perfectly natural to want to keep her allto for now.
A flick against my forehead brings out of those thoughts, though it doesn't hurt in the slightest considering who perford it. With those srizing teal eyes staring back at and a coy smile on her face, Sandra asks cheekily, "You're not thinking of just holing away sowhere for a decade or sothing, are you~?"
My frown turns into a pout at being called out before her lips plant to my cheek. "Thought so~. You had the sa look that I had when I thought about whisking you away sowhere~." Her hand cos to clasp behind my neck, intention more than force pulling my lips down to hers as we hum together in bliss, a wet smack breaking off the shing of velvet as she continues in a soft tone.
"Don't worry, baby girl. We have all the ti in the universe now. If you want to keep all to yourself for a little while, that's more than fine with ~. But we gotta deal with the imdiate problems first, okay? And that'll an we can't just bask in bed for a year, much as I hate to admit it~."
"Fine..." I grumble out at sohow becoming the clingy one, uncaring of the turned ears and glancing eyes around us, "But you're mine tonight, at least. I... I want it to just be us. I don't want to leave your side."
"A more than fair ask, my love." I nearly jump as I suddenly rember we aren't just flying by our loneso. Those possessive thoughts really tunnel visioned ... Akiko carries on after a small chuckle at my antics, "I would have proposed the sa arrangent anyhow. You both are more than overdue to spend quality ti with each other. And while we all love you as well, I understand the priority of the situation more than well enough.
When we touch down at the estate, I will take you two to the baths and then we shall leave you to bond for as long as possible. Co sunrise, we should evaluate Sandra's affinities and the like so as to best prepare her training and cultivation paths. But all of that can wait for now, both of you just relax and breathe in the mont. You've both earned it."
Finding that a more than reasonable compromise - even if a part of is still disgruntled about not having more ti together - we all slip into a comfortable silence as the woods change to mountains, then mountains to the familiar valley.
True to her word, the mont we touch down the girls all co by to give a quick hug and kiss to , and then a much more chaste hug to Sandra under my watchful eye. None of them failing to notice how I shift slightly closer to Sandra, nor when I grasp her hand more firmly in mine every ti they embrace or send them barely subdued glares. Honestly, it feels like I'm so... territorial animal right now, and I think all of them can feel and sense it.
And while part of my mind is upset at treating them like that, I just can't push those clawing thoughts aside. I can only hope that after feeling Sandra against , centing the new reality that we are both here and no longer separated by ti, emotion, and distance, that the stupid lizard brain part of will calm down...
I do still return the kisses and hugs - one ard, at least - and the girls all send knowing looks before scurrying off to whatever tasks or chores they are want to do. Akiko gives a raised eyebrow but decides to stay silent on the matter as she escorts Sandra and I to the baths in a slow, steady walk.
"I am unsure how much you may already be acquainted with my estate, Sandra, but I believe dear Alia should be able to help you find your way around later on. Assuming she ever lets you out of her sight again, that is~." Well, so much for staying quiet I guess. Though the cheeky grin makes the possessive sting that cos afterward subdued, sowhat. Still, I pull Sandra against , nuzzling my head to hers while I stick my tongue out toward the smarmy - and proud of herself - fox.
Sandra, on the other hand, seems on cloud 9. The abundant prismatic warmth ebbing from her and the silly, beyond contented grin she sports more than telling about how she views my sudden and apparent clinginess. It's almost enough to make sigh and admit that we really are perfect for each other considering how jello-like my insides would feel if she was the one being handsy and protective instead of .
Soon enough, Akiko gives her own farewells consisting of yet another round of hugs for the both of us and a small kiss to the top of my head. "Rest and relax for the rest of the day and night, girls. No one will intrude or disturb you until sunrise. I shall even go fetch spirit Ios and make sure she preoccupies her mischievous self in Jun Li's arms for the night~."
All of us chuckle at the admittedly good plan to corral the little bundle of chaos before Akiko places a hand to each of our shoulders and gives a loving, warm smile. "I want to again congratulate the both of you for doing sothing unheardof, and for finally resting in each other's arms here and now. You both did splendidly to get here despite the hurdles and challenges, and I know it was not a path purely paved in peaceful monts for either of you. It may seem odd given our... previous interactions, Sandra, but I want you to know that I love you and am proud of you. Both of you."
A stunned look cos across Sandra's face from the sheer sincerity of Akiko's words, a misty sheen warping over those teal eyes before Sandra steps forward and hugs Akiko tightly. Strangely enough, I don't feel any desire to intercede or any of those previous clingy emotions. Possible in part because I also dive forward and wrap both of them in a hug almost at the sa ti as Sandra lunged.
Six fluffy white tails co to add in the embrace, their clean scent and feather brush movents creating an atmosphere of pure peace between the three of us. With another small kiss to my head, and a tentative one to the top of Sandra's, Akiko gives us one last smile and then turns and leaves us at the entryway to the baths.
My hand easily finds and folds into my beloved sister's as she turns and gives a teasing look. "So it's fine when its Akiko all up on , but not the other's huh~? What's a girl to think~?"
"Oh hush! I barely know my own brain right now aside from just wanting to hold you and be close to you for forever!" Is my shaless reply, though it is made with burning cheeks.
"So cute~. My precious little yandere sister is all grown up~." She says back dreamily, jokingly removing a fake tear from her cheek.
"Says the biggest yandere in the universe now." I deadpan in answer.
"Yep~! I did indeed say that, hehe~. Now c'mon, let's go ease your poor little clingy heart before you make a scene~." With that, she leans over and begins to undo my battle dress. While her hands deftly work the fabric, she fixes with a smoldering look that leaves no doubt about what she wants from now.
As the dress waves onto the ground and my core begins to tighten under her burning gaze tinged in pink... I'm more than ready to oblige those feelings at long last.
