Now reading: Chapter 496: Ch 116 - Spoiled Princess from Wandering in Omniverse, a Action novel by MuseNoire.

Jun Mo Xie stood still, unmoving amidst the pattering downpour, his robes flapping gently with the biting wind. His eyes, half-lidded with faint amusent and curiosity, flicked to the horizon as four distinct Xuan lights flickered toward them like streaking cots in the night.

His pupils narrowed.

"Xiao Han... Mu Xue Tong..." He muttered, tone quiet but firm, as he recognized the two familiar faces.

But the ones beside them were unknown.

There was a young, crooked-nosed man beside Xiao Han, while Mu Xue Tong seed to be accompanying a picturesque white-robed maiden; her hair was white like the clouds, her skin was as white as snow, and her face was delicate and beautiful. Her big, round eyes seed quite excited at the sight of this gathering of peerless experts.

Mu Xue Tong, ever the composed guardian, quickly pulled out a uniquely absurd umbrella, a black bear painted comically on its surface, and held it above the delicate princess' head.

Despite the chaos of the mont, a dry laugh bubbled in Jun Mo Xie's chest. "A black bear umbrella in a battlefield of dragons... fitting."

anwhile, the expressions of the Three Elders of Silver Blizzard City darkened as if their aged souls were slowly being wrung out by Fate herself.

"Heavens... does that little demoness have to show up now of all tis?"

"We're already up to our necks in disaster... Does she want to bury us herself?"

The sky roared again, and a bolt of lightning lit up the field, illuminating the dread and resignation in the elders' faces as if nature itself had decided to stage this drama with all its flair.

The Little Princess, anwhile, took in the sight with childlike glee.

"That man is the 'Solitary Falcon'? One of the 'Eight Great Masters' of the Xuan Xuan continent?" Her voice was a lodious chi, laced with mischief and awe. "He's so fierce... and so calm at the sa ti... I like that look in his eyes."

Mu Xue Tong nearly stumbled over his own feet.

"Little Princess..." He groaned, his smile forced, wry. "This really isn't the ti to be here... it is too dangerous."

"Oh, co on, Mu Xue Tong," She pouted, twirling her fingers in her hair. "You worry more than my mother. Danger is where the most interesting stories begin, no?"

Jun Mo Xie smirked. That voice revealed how spoiled, unpredictable, and reckless, the little girl is...

But before Mu Xue Tong could scold her further, Xiao Han chuckled, stepping forward, his arrogance as visible as the ridiculous curl of his lips.

"Mu Xue Tong, are you incapable of protecting the Little Princess?" He taunted. "If you're so scared of being here, then why don't you just hand over the responsibility of her protection to ? You're obviously a spineless man!"

Mu Xue Tong's eyes flashed with fury, but his tone remained clipped.

"The Solitary Falcon and Shi Chang Xiao are present here; if our Silver Blizzard City actually manages to get the Xuan Core, then these two n will likely turn hostile... even the three Elders may not be able to fight those two guys off... don't you think that we'll end up getting our heads smashed in then?"

He stabbed a finger toward the chaos of powerful auras converging in the distance.

"Can't you see the number of advanced Xuan experts here? Do you really think that a Sky Xuan expert is capable of beating them all?! Idiot!"

The final word struck like a whip.

Xiao Han flinched, his pride bruised. He opened his mouth to reply, but when he looked around again, at the roiling storm of killing intent and the silent focus of Spirit Xuan warriors scattered like sleeping tigers, his bravado crumbled. A bead of sweat traced down his cheek as he swallowed thickly.

"What the hell am I doing here…" He thought bitterly, his bravado now reduced to ashes.

The center of attention, however, was not the Silver Blizzard, nor the spoiled princess, nor Jun Mo Xie.

It was Solitary Falcon who stood alone, Xuan Core now in his grasp.

His stance was relaxed, yet unshakable, like a carved monunt of war given life. The Xuan Core pulsed within his robes, as if amplifying the storm with its very existence.

Suddenly, a fierce cry shattered the tension.

"Falcon! You wanted to fight , ah? Let's fight!"

Shi Chang Xiao's roar was a declaration of war.

He burst upward like a wrathful spirit, his Xuan Qi rippling outward, each drop of rain near him vaporizing before it touched his skin. The air itself split before his charge.

Solitary Falcon's mouth curled into a wild grin. His fingers tightened around the Xuan Core briefly, then tucked it safely into the folds of his robes.

"Good, let's go!" He bood, raising both arms to the heavens. His figure rose, majestic and terrible, cutting a silhouette against the raging clouds like a hawk soaring through thunder.

The battle between the two Peak Spirit Xuan Masters had begun!

But they were not alone.

Like a pack of wolves seeing weakness in their prey, Fei ng Chen, the Three Elders, Shi Chang Xiao's six aides, and Li Wu Bei's ten disciples all leaped into the sky.

Their movents were ghostly, overlapping like afterimages of death. All of them charged at Solitary Falcon, each hoping to strike him down and claim the Xuan Core for themselves.

"So it's a bloodbath you want, eh? Then let's paint the skies red!" Solitary Falcon roared with laughter.

His body exploded with energy.

A deep BOOM shook the heavens. His Xuan Qi erupted like a tidal wave as shockwaves cracked the air, tearing at clothes, knocking blades off their trajectory, and sending combatants hurtling back like falling stars.

One disciple smashed through a nearby boulder, coughing blood. Another spun helplessly before crashing into the muddy earth below.

Yet Solitary Falcon remained where he was, his arms wide, chest heaving, eyes gleaming with wild anticipation.

"One against many?" He grinned. "Hah! It's been a long ti since I felt this alive!"

Jun Mo Xie watched the chaos unfold, unmoved.

"And now the real play begins..." He thought. "Let them exhaust themselves first. The Xuan Core doesn't belong to any of these fools..."

Beside him, the Little Princess clapped her hands, eyes glittering with glee.

"Magnificent! Mu Xue Tong, do you see that? Did you see how far he sent them flying?" She laughed. "That's real strength! That's a man worth teasing!"

Mu Xue Tong facepald. "Please... Your Highness, this is not a performance!"

"Then what is it? A funeral? Either way, I'm staying," She humd, brushing a speck of mud from her sleeve with disdain. "Besides, who knows... maybe this Solitary Falcon will fall in love with after I nurse his wounds. Don't you think I'd make a lovely battlefield nurse?"

Jun Mo Xie choked back a snort.

The Elders of Silver Blizzard City, now covered in scratches and steaming breath, regrouped shakily.

"She's serious..." One of them muttered. "She's really here to ss around in the middle of a war zone..."

Solitary Falcon descended a little, now standing atop a floating chunk of stone he'd blasted upward himself.

"You boys sure are eager!" He called out. "One at a ti, one at a ti! I can't kill you all at once, now can I?"

Shi Chang Xiao spat blood, wiped his mouth, and stepped forward again.

"That Xuan Core... hand it over before I break every bone in your body!"

"Break mine?" Falcon laughed. "Why don't you worry about keeping your own head on your shoulders?"

And once again, they clashed in the air, lightning cracking around them as Xuan Qi clashed like tectonic plates. Their strikes blurred, their movents sent shockwaves like thunderclaps.

The earth beneath began to split and quake, trees fell, and even the rain seed to swerve away from the sheer pressure they exuded.

Below, Jun Mo Xie's gaze darkened.

"This is only the beginning. But only a fool fights a bloody battle over a treasure they cannot control..."

His eyes turned to the white-robed girl, who was still grinning as if watching a play.

"And that one... is really a troubleso girl. She's enjoying this too much."

"Interesting... Very interesting."
