The chaos at the banquet disrupted the entire venue. Amidst the screams and cries of panic, the "giant dragon" composed of five peasants dressed up as such crashed around, spilling wine and food everywhere, frightening the elegant noblewon who ran away in panic, losing their composure.

"Capture them! Execute them on the spot!" Duke Boldro Bodric’s face was flushed with anger. Pointing at the guards, he roared, "Arrest these lowlife peasants! Execute them imdiately! What are they doing?!"

This was a banquet he ticulously prepared, yet these peasants were up to no good, causing chaos?!

"Protect the Duke! Protect the Duke!" The guards quickly reacted; trained soldiers answered Duke Bodric’s call, charging at the five peasants dressed as dragons. Most of these guards were regular soldiers and semi-professional peasant infantry; led by a few knights, they quickly surrounded the peasants: "Stop imdiately!"

These five peasants astonishingly ignored the commands of the knights; like mad dogs, they rushed at the surrounding soldiers. One even breathed fire, temporarily pushing back the soldiers. A knight tried to stab his sword into the body of a peasant, and the peasant madly howled and bit the knight’s arm.

Of course, the knight’s arm was protected by armor, and the peasant’s teeth were shattered and flew out, yet the peasant seed to feel no pain.

"Stop them! I authorize you to execute them on the spot!" Duke Bodric still shouted loudly.

The five peasants were gradually surrounded by more than a hundred guards, but the great chaos could not be stopped. Panic and madness spread from the banquet at Bodlukes Castle, eventually affecting outside the castle and spilling into the entire city!

Due to his excessive excitent, Duke Bodric lifted the curfew order and announced unrestricted drinking throughout the event, leading the whole city to be full of revelers and drunkards! Chaos and disorder started to crazily spread within the city, with fighting, theft, and disturbances arising, plunging the city into turmoil, forcing the garrison to move everywhere to maintain order.

This provided an opportunity for Mathew Bade.

Taking advantage of the guards’ confusion, this infiltrator quickly found an excuse to make Fiona hide in a room; then, he seized the chance to use the pre-planned magic to mark the castle.

The precision of the catapult was always an issue, so Mathew Bade had to infiltrate the castle to act as a navigator.

Outside the castle, in the dark corners of the city, the undead mage Farah was tied to the catapult. The undead mage closed his eyes, thinking that once the Witch Demon King returned, he would no longer serve under Mathew Bade.

"Prepare!"

"Launch!"

"Whirr!" The sound of the great lever starting was drowned out by the city’s chaos and the cover of night.

......

"What a chaos, this is Brittania people for you. If it were under my managent, such things would never happen." At the banquet scene, Nuer’s Chief Justice Theodore Bruckner stroked his beard, his face bearing a faint disdain: "The master knights only care about their banquet; they completely ignore the peasants pretending to be dragons. Those peasants clearly consud so sort of frenzied or hallucinogenic potion, which is why they’re so mad. This is a plot; the master knights only focus on knights’ and nobles’ banquets without caring about the peasants’ conditions."

Although the Empire and Brittania are allies, they have always looked down on each other due to differences in beliefs and culture.

Imperials view Brittania as a bunch of stubborn, old-fashioned peasants, still holding onto so ridiculous customs like serfdom. Unlike the Empire, where the erging citizen class and new war machines, with diverse public positions and complex army formations, form the backbone of their military power, Brittania dedicates national resources to sustain knights, still using catapults that were eliminated by the Empire hundreds of years ago.

Brittania, on the other hand, thinks of the Imperials as a bunch of fish out of water without dreams, even lacking the Knightly Path. The fighting capacity of the Imperial Knights compared to Brittania Knights is significantly lesser. What’s more, the Empire claims to be so strong, yet why do they constantly need our support?

Historically, Brittania has always been the one supporting the Empire. Whenever the Empire struggles, under the call of the King and the Lake God Witch, Brittania’s knights often organize Knightly Army to aid the Empire in the na of protecting the world and helping fellow humans, while the Empire is always too busy to care for Brittania and never has the energy to assist.

The most classic mory is about ninety years ago when the green-skinned warlord Big Belly King Gululu led a giant Waaagh! that ravaged the Empire, plundering in the eastern and northern parts of the Empire. Unable to withstand, the Empire sent pleas for help from Brittania. At that ti, Knight King John I was a very furious tyrant, knowing the Empire again ca seeking assistance, he sat on the throne and told Imperial emissaries, "Beggar arrives at the royal court? Speak your request."

This remark beca a widely-spread joke, turning into a classic diplomatic joke between the Empire and Brittania.

Back to the point, people refocused their attention on the banquet scene. Now, more than a hundred soldiers surrounded the five peasants, with long spear soldiers, sword and shield soldiers, and foot combat attendants under the knights’ command gradually controlling the situation. The great nobles didn’t take this matter too seriously, seeing that the little disturbance was about to be settled soon.
