Chapter 1391: Section 1392: Waiting Chapter 1391: Section 1392: Waiting Angel told Popota the clue about Hua Que,

However, he didn’t elaborate, simply stating there was a new clue that made Hua Que’s location almost certain, reassuring Popota not to worry.

Angel did not pay attention to Popota’s reaction, as after he shared the news, he withdrew his spiritual power from the bracelet.

Angel intended to ask Sanders what to do next.

Looking up, though, he saw Sanders, who was seated on the other sofa, had already entered the Wilderness of Dreams.

Angel could only return to the ditation room to proceed with his daily routine of ditation.

Six hours later, Angel opened his eyes after erging from deep ditation and imdiately checked on the Gate of Dreams. In the three hours, Frode had left the Wilderness of Dreams with Adar and Shanni, while Sanders had remained inside without leaving.

After so thought, Angel decided to go directly to the Wilderness of Dreams to ask Sanders about the next steps and to check on his brother Lyon’s condition.

Once Angel entered the Wilderness of Dreams, his location was set to his own room in Pat Manor.

As soon as he opened his eyes, he heard a surprised gasp beside him, followed by the sound of porcelain shattering.

Turning his head, he saw Ollie, dressed as a maid, looking at him in astonishnt, with broken porcelain scattered at her feet.

“Young, Young Master, why are you here?” Ollie had barely finished speaking when she realized she might have spoken out of turn and quickly covered her mouth. It took a while before she managed to mutter through her fingers, “What I ant was, I didn’t expect the Young Master to return at this ti. I, I am cleaning the room…”

Ollie glanced at the broken porcelain, a flash of distress passing through her eyes: “I’m sorry, I’ve broken your favorite porcelain cup. Please punish , Young Master.”

Angel sat up from the bed and gestured to Ollie, “It’s okay, let it be broken.”

Anyway, this place was the Wilderness of Dreams, and even if everything was broken, the Dream Conch could be used to replenish it.

“Did Lyon co in today?” Angel stood up and asked.

Ollie nodded, “Before I ca into the Young Master’s room, I just saw the Viscount. He was discussing the manor managent with Head Maid Mana.”

“Alright, continue with your cleaning. I’ll go find him,” Angel said as he walked to the door and opened it, ready to leave. However, just as he stepped out, sothing occurred to him, and he turned back to look at Ollie, who still had a look of bewildernt in her eyes.

“By the way, have you adapted to life here?” Angel asked.

Ollie was startled for a mont, then nodded, “The main tasks are actually quite similar to before, with just so additional duties from the city. So, I can adapt.”

“It’s just… well, never mind, actually everything now is quite good.”

Ollie clearly had more to say, but Angel looked at her, “If there is sothing on your mind, you can talk about it. Is it because you don’t like the tasks assigned to you?”

Ollie imdiately shook her head, “No, I really like them.”

“Then what’s your concern?” Angel looked at Ollie puzzledly, “If you have concerns, you can tell as well.”

Ollie pondered for a mont before she slowly began to speak, “Actually, everything is fine, it’s my own issue…”

As Ollie told her story, Angel finally understood her confusion.

It was the sa as before; although Ollie was gradually adapting to the life in the Wilderness of Dreams, she couldn’t help but reminisce about the past and miss her best friend.

Ollie was a sensitive and introverted person, and it took her a long ti to build up friendships with others. It required maintaining a relationship over a long period before it could advance further. Due to her slow-to-warm-up nature, there weren’t many friends who really reached into her heart.

Her best friend, who was later considered by Turin’s Butler to be assigned as Angel’s personal maid, Lucia, was not in the Wilderness of Dreams now; thus, thinking about Lucia was what made her look so preoccupied these days.

“Isn’t it ridiculous, this reason… I… I actually don’t want to, but I can’t control myself. As soon as I have a mont of free ti, my mind is full of past images,” Ollie said, looking down, a bit embarrassed. It was because of this reason that she found laughable herself, which made her sowhat reluctant to speak before.

“It’s not ridiculous.” The personalities of people in this world are diverse to so extent; not everyone is good at socializing, nor can everyone imdiately adapt to a new life in a strange place.

Ollie’s situation, actually, is the more common one.

Perhaps these issues, in the distant future, will be gradually erased by ti, or even forgotten. But for now, they indeed trouble Ollie the most.

“After talking about it, I feel much more at ease,” Ollie sighed with relief and said with so embarrassnt, “I, I’ll get back to work.”

Then, Angel suddenly said, “Do you still rember when I ntioned before that although they are still alive, they too have the opportunity to co to Originheart City?”

Ollie nodded, her mind during this ti most consud by the very words Angel had said to her.

“Actually, they aren’t far from arriving, all you have to do is wait.”

Ollie was stunned. Before, Angel had only ntioned “the chance,” but now Angel asserted with certainty that their arrival wasn’t far off!

Did this an she could see Lucia very soon?

A flash of surprise crossed Ollie’s eyes, “Is this… true?”

“Yes, when she arrives at Originheart City, she may need you to take care of her.”

Ollie nodded vigorously, her greatest fear being that she would never see Lucia again, but Angel’s clear statent that Lucia would also be coming dispelled the shadow that had lood over her head for days.

As soon as he had more power, Angel planned to open the Wilderness of Dreams on a small scale, starting with the servants of Pat Manor as both an experint and out of his own selfishness, so indeed, the reunion between Ollie and Lucia wasn’t far off.

After bidding farewell to an excited Ollie, Angel entered the grand hall.

At this ti, the Head Maid Mana was arranging for the manor’s servants to repair the damaged areas, and upon seeing Angel, she imdiately greeted him.

“Good afternoon, Young Master Pat,” the Head Maid Mana greeted with a smile.

Angel glanced at the murky sky outside, “Can you even tell the ti in this light?”

“The City Lord Monroe has set a schedule; it’s still a cycle of one day here, and according to that, it should be midday right now,” the Head Maid Mana recited the schedule that Monroe had established.

Angel gave a noncommittal nod, skipping the topic of ti and asked, “The maid Ollie ntioned that my brother was here, why don’t I see him?”

“The Viscount just left Originheart City not long ago; apparently, he’s off to do so training,” the Head Maid Mana said.

Angel figured it was probably Nausicaa training Lyon. He had wanted to ask Lyon about his earlier situation but it looked like that would have to wait until next ti.

Angel inquired about Jon’s whereabouts next.

The answer was still no.

Jon hadn’t returned to the manor these past days, staying in the library instead, organizing the books alongside other scholars.

Deciding not to disturb Jon either, Angel took his leave from the Head Maid Mana and decided to go see Sanders directly.

Activating “God’s View,” Angel observed that Sanders was at the top of Sky Tower, in Frode’s office.

When Angel arrived, Sanders was alone, ticulously reviewing docunts at his desk.

Moving closer, Angel noticed that Sanders was looking at records of the current situation of all citizens of Originheart City, made by Frode.

This was what Angel had previously asked Frode to do, mainly out of concern for any problems that might arise with Jon’s body in the Wilderness of Dreams, to create comparative records.

“ntor, is there a problem with these docunts?” Angel asked curiously.

“No problem, just a comprehensive record of the Wilderness of Dreams,” Sanders replied, “I plan to work with Frode to diligently compile a detailed account of everything relating to the Wilderness of Dreams.”

Was this why Sanders had been frequently entering the Wilderness of Dreams these past days? Angel suddenly felt a blush of embarrassnt; he had ant to carry out these tasks himself.

Sanders seed to perceive Angel’s thoughts and said with a mild smile, “Of course, compiling them will definitely require your assistance, but for now, there is no need. So, focus on improving your strength, and don’t worry about the other things.”

Angel nodded, sowhat embarrassed, “By the way, why hasn’t Frode returned yet?”

“It seems that so people from a Witcher Organization in the outside world are coming to participate in the Talented One’s test,” Sanders replied.

So it was the Talented One’s test. No wonder Angel had sensed that both Frode and Shanni, along with Adar, were absent.

Sanders: “I’ve heard Frode explain this Talented One’s test, and it’s a good idea. Next ti soone takes on a Guiding mission, you can have them try it as well.”

After discussing these unrelated topics, Angel finally ca to the main point.

“What are the next steps?” Sanders put down the docunts in his hand, looked at Angel, and after a while, he said, “Just wait.”

Angel had just told Ollie to wait, and now he was hearing the familiar words again from Sanders.
