Although Angel was sowhat curious about Siber, he didn’t plan to explore it at this mont.
He nodded lightly at Siber and then motioned for Lady lo to continue forward.
In the next two corridors, lo discovered three more Talented Ones in succession. Among them, a fat one appeared to be the leader, showing signs of loosely banding together. This was sowhat reminiscent of when Angel was a Talented One, and everyone surrounded Hook Dick.
And that fat Talented One clearly had feelings for Siber, always subtly approaching her and saying a few unremarkable words of concern.
Siber maintained her "aloof lady" persona, responding to the fat Talented One with nothing more than a "hmm." But the fat Talented One didn’t mind Siber’s indifferent attitude and seed sowhat pleased with the situation.
While the fat Talented One was pestering Siber, one of his lackeys, who looked a bit sly, sidled over to Angel.
He mouthed words of thanks, his attitude exceedingly flattering, but his eyes were evasive, seemingly pondering sothing.
Angel understood his intentions perfectly.
Just like when Fusa clung to Hook Dick’s leg, but as soon as Hook Dick was absent, he would start cozying up to Butler Good, all pleasantries and small talk, almost identical to what this sly one was doing today.
Basically, it’s just about wanting to attach themselves to soone powerful.
Angel wasn’t opposed to this mindset, but targeting him wasn’t acceptable.
Angel didn’t do anything to this sly youngster, just gave him a faint glance and released a hint of oppressive aura. The youngster stood frozen, as if struck by lightning, not daring to move.
This trace of oppressive aura wasn’t specifically aid at the sly youngster; the others, including Siber and Lady lo, also felt it.
Lady lo was able to remain composed, as Angel clearly controlled the level of pressure to a bearable degree for her. But for the other Talented Ones, it felt like the sky was falling, with an overwhelming force pressing down on them.
The sly youngster suffered the most, as he bore the brunt of it and felt it most acutely. At this mont, he seed like an ant crouching beneath a towering mountain.
He trembled, his lips quivering as if trying to say sothing, but no words ca out.
The others felt the sa, like being in a leaf boat facing the raging sea whipped by fierce winds.
Everyone was quite uncomfortable.
Luckily, Angel’s oppressive aura didn’t last long and was soon withdrawn.
At this point, the sly youngster no longer dared to approach Angel.
Lady lo took one look at him and understood what had happened, softly sighing, "Lord Pat is already considered gentle. If it were soone else, like Lord Pat’s ntor, you’d already be dead before you even got close enough to speak. Because, in the Wizards’ Realm, approaching an Official Wizard without permission is a grave discourtesy."
Lady lo seed to be speaking to the sly youngster, but in fact, she was also warning the others.
When facing an Official Wizard, one must show the utmost respect. This is the way to survive in the Wizards’ Realm.
Perhaps because of Angel’s oppressive aura, everyone remained silent, and the fat Talented One stopped following Siber, quietly walking behind Lady lo instead.
Though Lady lo called Angel gentle, those unfamiliar with the Wizards’ Realm distrusted her words, believing Lady lo’s own gentleness to be true gentleness, so they only dared to follow her.
Lady lo looked at the followers behind her and gave Angel an apologetic look.
To Lady lo, strict with etiquette, this act of forming a group around her and isolating Angel was also a form of disrespect.
To prevent this disrespect from continuing, Lady lo subtly moved closer to Angel.
Now, the Talented Ones behind her were puzzled. Should they follow or not?
Only Siber said nothing, continuing to stay by Lady lo’s side.
Since the range of the Mist Illusion Technique was limited, after a few seconds of confusion, they still followed, but kept a distance of two to three ters.
"My lord, please forgive their ignorance," Lady lo said respectfully.
"I’m not angry and there’s nothing to forgive," Angel said truthfully. So far, none of these Talented Ones had done anything to disturb his emotions. Including that sly youngster, as Angel thought earlier, he wasn’t opposed to the idea of the sly youngster wanting to seek protection, just as long as it wasn’t from him.
While they were conversing, they passed through another corridor. According to Angel’s mory, only three corridors remained on the second floor. And the people in these corridors... had almost all been punished.
So even t truly horrific fates.
Angel pondered for a mont and asked, "How many Talented Ones are left?"
Without hesitation, Lady lo replied, "Three people. Golos, Bruiser, and Amisha."
"Barring any surprises, they should be ahead in these corridors. Hopefully, they survive. The brute watchman doesn’t dare kill Transcendents, but he can tornt Talented Ones at will, since they belong to the mortal rank."
Lady lo initially didn’t understand Angel’s aning until she saw firsthand the appalling scenes in the new corridor and finally understood why Angel said: let’s hope they survive.
The other Talented Ones also saw the prisoners, so emaciated to the bone, so missing limbs, so lying in a pool of blood, already dead. As naïve individuals with little worldly experience, their faces turned pale instantly.
They were sowhat relieved at this mont, having not t with much punishnt themselves.
Maybe because they were farther back in the corridor, the brute watchman didn’t bother to co over, sparing them?
But the truth was the opposite; the brute watchman knew they were Talented Ones from the Barbarian Cave, so he didn’t dare to punish them too harshly.
The brute watchman, though fierce, was also discerning, knowing whom to offend and whom not to.
The Transcendents he extorted were all Wandering Wizards. Those with real backing, even if they were mortals, he wouldn’t dare to touch.
Though he didn’t dare, others would, like... the Princess.
As they walked through the new corridor, Lady lo soon found a target.
"It’s Amisha!" Lady lo quickly stepped to the cell door, her face turning grim upon seeing Amisha’s tragic state.
Angel also saw the situation inside the cell and imdiately set up an illusionary realm at the cell door to block the other Talented Ones’ view.
Lady lo looked grateful toward Angel. After all, Amisha’s current condition was not suitable for n to see.
"Go in, and call if you need anything," Angel said to Lady lo.
Angel’s "need" naturally referred to healing spell techniques.
Lady lo nodded in gratitude and walked into the mist.
The other Talented Ones exchanged glances, as they were walking behind and saw nothing. The only one who saw anything was Siber, who was with Lady lo.
However, Siber’s expression was grim, with his fists clenched tightly, not saying a word.
The others didn’t dare to ask, and could only wait silently at the prison entrance, guessing what had happened to Amisha.
During their wait, Angel suddenly shifted his gaze to a spot not far away.
There was no one there, but Angel felt a familiar aura.
He thought for a mont and then controlled a mist to envelop that spot.
As the mist spread, a red-haired figure appeared before him.
...
On the other side, in the cell.
Lady lo walked over to Amisha with a face full of heartache.
Amisha was lying on the ground at this ti, with her upper body clothes still on, but below it was tattered, with blood staining almost everything below her waist.
Aside from the injuries below, Amisha’s face was also slashed, looking both terrifying and hideous.
Amisha was unconscious at the mont, but her chest was still slightly heaving, indicating she was still alive. But, it was like a flickering candle, ready to go out at any mont.
Even in her unconscious state, when Lady lo’s footsteps approached, Amisha’s body trembled noticeably.
This was the result of habitual fear.
Seeing this, Lady lo felt even more heartbroken.
Amisha’s background wasn’t good to begin with; her father’s identity was unknown, and her mother was a woman who made a living by selling her body. She had six children, but only two survived, with Amisha being one of them, and the other being a brother who went wandering after their mother’s death six months ago.
Amisha had previously lived near the garbage dump, relying on leftovers to survive. This was already miserable enough, but she now suffered such an ordeal.
While sighing, Lady lo began to inspect Amisha’s injuries.
Initially, Lady lo thought Amisha had been violated. But upon closer examination, she found it was not the case; it seed more like she had been subjected to so kind of torture device.
The facial wounds were minor; the major injury was in the abdon, which had internal ruptures leading to massive bleeding.
Filthy substances mixed into the internal organs, which was Amisha’s most severe injury.
If not cleaned and treated promptly, Amisha wouldn’t survive the day.
Lady lo knew so Healing Magic, but Healing Magic could only close wounds. It was incapable of cleansing the internal organs tainted by filth.
Even if a surgery was perford to clean it bit by bit, it might not thoroughly remove the impurities. Moreover, this would also harm Amisha.
Helpless, Lady lo sent a signal for assistance to Angel outside.
Soon, a person entered the cell.
Unexpectedly for Lady lo, besides Angel, a red-haired young man also appeared.
Lady lo was no stranger to this red-haired young man, as knowing Official Wizards to avoid offending them is a mandatory skill for apprentices.
"Red Sword" Dox!
"Tsk tsk tsk, what a pity. Judging by the injuries, it was probably caused by the seesaw at the entrance. Such thick spikes, that princess indeed has a vivid imagination," Dox remarked.
Angel, upon seeing the injuries, also guessed they were caused by the seesaw. The fat guard wouldn’t dare do sothing like this; only that so-called princess could have done it.
"Lord Red Sword, are you certain it was the princess who did this?" Lady lo suppressed her emotions, not even inquiring why Dox was there, but instead asked directly.
"You know ? Hahaha, indeed, my fa is widespread." After a burst of laughter, and receiving no response, Dox didn’t feel awkward and continued, "Of course it was her. I took a stroll around the castle, and almost every woman inside, including the female knights, had slashes on their faces. That woman, no, that little brat, I don’t know who taught her, but her nature is twisted, resembling a demon more than a human."
Amisha had similar slashes on her face, indicating it was the work of the princess.
"I understand, thank you for the information, my lord." A hint of anger flashed in Lady lo’s eyes, but she quickly restrained her unwarranted emotions. The more pressing issue was saving Amisha.
Lady lo placed her hopeful gaze on Angel.
Angel then conducted a thorough examination of Amisha using his spiritual power.
While he was examining, Dox spoke sarcastically on the side, "Completely saving her from these injuries is no easy task. The filth has already spread, causing organ failure. Unless the failure is reversed and the filth completely eradicated, survival is nearly impossible."
"Can you save her?" Angel completed his examination, stood up, and looked at Dox.
Dox gave an embarrassed smile, "I used to have a secret potion that could save even if the whole body was decayed, but now, well..."
"If you can’t save her, stop babbling," Angel turned his head away, not bothering with Dox.
Then, Angel took out a scroll emitting a faint white light from his bracelet.
As the scroll unfolded, even though it wasn’t activated, a holy power gradually began to diffuse.
"What’s that, a Magic Rune Scroll?" Dox curiously looked over, "Why do I sense a mysterious aura? Could it be a Mysterious Parchnt?"
"It rely contains a mysterious aura, far from being a Mysterious Parchnt," Angel said calmly.
This is the "Sunlight Garden" Magic Rune Scroll. Back in Feng’s painted world, Angel had drawn this type of Magic Rune Scroll to test the Mad Hat’s coronation.
The "Sunlight Garden" possesses self-cleansing, holy healing, anti-contamination, temperature regulation, simple defense, and restoration of physical and ntal strength effects.
Coupled with the White Hat’s coronation, this Sunlight Garden Scroll’s effect is even greater. It’s enough to address Amisha’s injuries.
With the self-cleaning effect of the Sunlight Garden, combined with the holy healing, Amisha’s internal filth and organ failure would receive satisfactory restoration.
Of course, Angel actually had other treatnt thods, but they would always leave so hidden dangers.
Only by using the Sunlight Garden can Amisha be entirely cured, ensuring her potential isn’t diminished.
