Chapter 2514: Chapter 2515: Original Aspiration

“It just contains a mysterious aura?” Dox muttered skeptically, “That’s strange. Besides the mysterious parchnt, are there other scrolls that can possess a mysterious aura?”

While Dox was still puzzled, Angel had already activated the Sunlight Garden.

With the Sunlight Garden’s opening, a great radiance burst forth, dispelling every inch of darkness within the narrow prison one by one.

Perhaps it was an illusion, but everyone present felt that this light seed different from what they imagined. Compared to pure light, the glow emitted from the scroll resembled a mist of light.

Countless glowing points ford the light mist.

As they bathed in this light mist, everyone present felt a sense of comfort. Among them, Amisha felt it most profoundly because, while others rely bathed in the light mist, she was completely enveloped by the intense mist.

The chanism of Sunlight Garden prioritizes healing those tainted or injured. And Amisha was affected by both, so the mist around her was particularly dense.

The gentle light mist continuously washed away the impurities within Amisha’s body while also healing those exhausted organs.

This feeling akin to rebirth made Amisha let out a comfortable moan.

And Amisha, who had kept her eyes tightly shut, finally opened them.

The first thing Amisha did upon waking was to cautiously survey her surroundings, even though she was lying on the ground with a limited field of vision. Her deep-rooted vigilance remained.

However, Amisha saw almost nothing, as her vision was filled with a brilliant white light surrounding her.

Instinctively wanting to prop herself up, Amisha found the inability to control herself and assess whether her surroundings were dangerous quite distressing.

Perhaps noticing Amisha’s intent, Lady lo hurriedly approached her: “Amisha, it’s . Please don’t move, don’t try to be strong. Your health is very poor; you’re currently being treated.”

Amisha recognized Lady lo’s voice, and the familiar tone made her feel slightly reassured.

“M-lo… Lady, it was you who saved…” Amisha’s voice was dry and hoarse, possibly because she hadn’t spoken for a long ti or received any water. It was so parched that even cracked, polluted blood trickled from her lips.

“Don’t speak; listen to ,” Lady lo said. “I’m sorry, I’m not as powerful as you imagined. If I were truly universal, you wouldn’t have ended up trapped with .”

“My abilities are limited; I can’t save you. The one who saved you is none other than the Transcendental Wizard from Barbarian Cave, Lord Pat.”

While comforting Amisha, Lady lo also explained all that had transpired.

Then, right in the middle of Lady lo’s explanation, an inappropriate sound arose from sowhere behind her.

“Pff—” The sound, accompanied by the noise of polluted air, left the always elegant and courteous Lady lo dumbfounded on the spot.

Beside her, Angel maintained a composed expression out of concern for etiquette, but Dox, who was used to being carefree, couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

“Hahaha, soone actually, actually farted.” Dox remarked while covering his nose, “So slly, so slly.”

Dox’s words made Lady lo’s expression flush with embarrassnt, then turn pale.

Farting in front of others was sothing Lady lo had never imagined, especially considering her high regard for etiquette and decorum. This behavior was not only inappropriate but a significant breach of manners.

That’s why Lady lo’s face turned pale; her self-confidence had been wounded.

Angel gave Dox a sidelong glance, “Hey, you’re overdoing it.”

Dox was covering his nose and talking about how “slly,” but it was all an act. With the cleansing power of Sunlight Garden, no odor could reach Dox.

After pointing out Dox, Angel turned his attention back to lo: “Lady lo, you don’t need to be concerned. This is not an unexpected breach of decorum. You got close to Amisha, and with the density of mist surrounding her, so would naturally rub off on you.”

“So it’s rely a natural physiological phenonon under the sunlight of Sunlight Garden.”

Whether Angel’s words comforted Lady lo was uncertain, but her pale complexion did seem to slightly recover.

To prevent the scene from becoming too awkward, Angel continued, “Since the Sunlight Garden is already open, Lady lo, perhaps you should let the others outside co in. Purging impurities and healing so hidden injuries would be beneficial for their future.”

Lady lo took a deep breath and responded to Angel, “Alright.”

After speaking, lo didn’t imdiately leave. She had still been explaining to Amisha. Although there was a minor incident halfway, her etiquette wouldn’t allow her to leave directly.

“You heard earlier, the one who was speaking to was Lord Pat…”

After briefly explaining the situation, Lady lo removed her coat, intending to cover Amisha and prevent others from seeing her once the mist faded.

“Lady lo, I’ve already used an Illusion Technique around Amisha; rest assured.”

Relieved by these words, lo put her coat back on, stood up, slightly nodded to Angel, then exited the prison.

Soon after, lo brought in several other Talented Ones, including Siber.

As soon as they ca in, even though the mist only casually passed by them, an ear-splitting symphony of consecutive farts emanated from behind them.

The group of boys, although initially embarrassed, quickly returned to normal, falling into the comfortable “massage” of light mist.

Only Siber, like Lady lo, had her face turn stark white.

Seeing this, Angel smiled inwardly and shook his head; it seed the etiquette taught by Lady lo had been perfectly replicated by Siber.

This ti, it was Lady lo’s turn to comfort Siber.

Thanks to Lady lo’s explanations, Siber eased up a bit. And perhaps seeing that everyone was passing gas, and witnessing Siber’s “as herself” facial changes, lo’s once-tense mindset relaxed a bit.

Listening to the rising and falling sounds within the prison, Angel didn’t remark, but Dox expressed his annoyance, “Although I can’t sll it, it still feels awkward.”

“If it’s awkward, you can leave. There’s a corridor outside, and Wandering Wizards are waiting for your salvation in the lower-level cells,” Angel replied.

Dox said, “I’ll rescue them later, later.”

Regardless of the awkwardness, Dox understood the Sunlight Garden’s unusual efficacy well. Even he noticed so of his hidden wounds being slightly soothed, though not completely healed. For it to benefit even Official Wizards proves its power.

“Speaking of which, if you put this scroll up for auction, it would fetch at least a thousand Magic Crystals, wouldn’t it? You’re using it to save that woman and those ordinary people who aren’t even Transcendents; don’t you think it’s a loss?”

Dox’s comnt did not elicit much reaction from Angel, but others, especially Lady lo and Amisha, felt deeply touched.

Lady lo knew how rare a scroll that cost a thousand Magic Crystals was. Even she only used scrolls worth a few Magic Crystals. Yet Angel took out such a rare Magic Pattern scroll to save Amisha?

“`

As for Amisha, she might not yet grasp what the concept of a thousand Magic Crystals ans, but from the conversations of others, she knew she owed a huge debt of gratitude.

This was a life-saving grace.

Angel: “Other treatnt thods would leave hidden dangers, which could in the future consu Amisha’s potential. So, it’s better to use the Sunlight Garden Scroll.”

“If her potential is consud, then so be it. After all, she’s just a Talented One. Do you expect her to advance to an Official Wizard?” Dox still considered it a waste.

Angel: “How far she goes in the future is her own affair. My responsibility now is just to save her.”

Dox wanted to say more, but soone else spoke first.

“I-I will repay, tenfold, a hundredfold.” A dry and hoarse voice ca from Amisha’s mouth. She had evidently heard the conversation between Dox and Angel and learned that only this way would not consu her potential. She now understood how valuable the Sunlight Garden was, so she spoke: “I will beco a Wizard, definitely. I have to beco a Wizard for a reason!”

Perhaps others could not see Amisha’s expression due to the Illusion Technique, but Angel saw it.

Her eyes were complex, mixed with nostalgia, hatred, and longing.

Angel had heard Amisha’s story from Lady lo; she might be nostalgic for her brother who disappeared from ho, hateful towards the Princess and even the entire Gumman Kingdom, and longing for the imagined future.

Although the emotions in her eyes were complex, they were extrely determined. Coupled with her unyielding and tenacious expression, for a mont, Angel thought of Nausicaa.

Amisha was certainly not Nausicaa, but if she could be as determined as Nausicaa, setting her own goals and forging her own path, her future might not be any less.

Angel pondered for a mont, then said in a low voice: “Everyone who sets foot on the path of the Transcendent dreams of becoming a Wizard. But dreaming is not enough; you must use all your strength to strive, especially when facing various choices, you absolutely cannot go wrong. These choices may test human nature, test your original intention, or be a matter of good and evil in one thought; every decision signifies choosing a future. And passing this step is only the foundation of stepping onto the path of the Wizard.”

After a pause, Angel continued: “Moreover, Witches must endure deeper trials than males. I hope what you said today is not empty talk so I won’t have wasted the Sunlight Garden to save you.”

Angel’s words were not only an encouragent to Amisha but also a ssage to the other Talented Ones.

The path of the Wizard is not easy, walk with caution.

“I didn’t expect you to say such a thing? However, re encouragent doesn’t have much effect.” Dox: “I have sharp eyes, in my view, none of these could go far, likely ending up like Old Porter, dispatched everywhere to live out their days.”

Angel replied flatly: “In my view, your vision is rather poor.”

At least, Old Porter was not soone content to quietly live out his years; he strives harder in secret than anyone else.

Dox: “We’ll see, I still think using a valuable Skin Scroll on them is a waste.”

Everyone’s expression turned a bit awkward at Dox’s words, but they dared not refute. After all, Dox was soone who could talk on equal terms with Angel, surely a big shot.

Being looked down upon by a big shot, they also felt quite deflated.

Lady lo glanced at them, saying nothing, for this was also a form of trial for them.

After a mont of silence, Amisha, lying on the ground, spoke: “I will go far, becoming a Wizard is both my goal and my starting point for the future.”

After Amisha expressed her determination, Siber also spoke: “I think Lord Pat is absolutely right.”

Amisha rely calmly stated that she would strive towards her goal, while Siber’s words were practically a direct challenge to Dox.

Because Angel had previously said only: “Your vision is rather poor.”

Though an indirect challenge, Siber’s courage took everyone by surprise.

Originally, others also wanted to declare like Amisha and Siber, but Siber’s words, so directly confronting Dox, turned his expression dark, and what they wanted to say got stuck in their throats.

In the heavy atmosphere, Siber still did not back down, maintaining a cold gaze at Dox.

Half a minute later, Dox suddenly laughed: “I retract part of what I said earlier. In fact, among these people, two are talented.”

Needless to guess, Dox was referring to the outspoken Amisha and the composed Siber.

Angel glanced at Dox, surprised to see he genuinely ant those words.

Dox’s personality seed… more interesting than he had imagined.

Five minutes later, under the treatnt of the Sunlight Garden, Amisha’s injuries were almost healed, though her body remained weak, needing nourishnt and recovery.

Of course, that was sothing to be done after they left.

Once Amisha’s wounds were healed, Angel packed up the Sunlight Garden; the remaining energy inside could be used once more and should not be wasted.

Watching Angel pack away the now dim Sunlight Garden Scroll, Dox couldn’t help remarking: “Alas, though it’s not mine, I still feel distressed seeing it.”

This was the third ti Dox had made a similar comnt.

Previously Angel had ignored him, but this ti Angel responded.

“Do you know why this Scroll is called the Sunlight Garden?”

Dox shook his head: “I don’t understand Magical Energy Arrays.”

Angel: “The answer is simple, just the literal aning. It provides ample sunlight for the garden while maintaining the garden’s temperature, healing wilting flowers, and driving away the garden’s pests. So, it’s called Sunlight Garden, and by the way, I engraved it.”

Though Angel didn’t say it directly, Dox understood.

This was a Lifestyle Magic Rune Scroll!

It’s known that few people would specifically purchase lifestyle scrolls since their functionality could easily be replaced by inexpensive manual labor.

Yet Angel had done so, and it was his own engraving.

This ant Angel was not just capable, but also had enough ti on his hands, which also ant he was very, very wealthy!

“Do you understand now?” Angel said softly.

Dox coughed twice, then replied with a serious expression: “Regardless of whether I understand, I will definitely be friends with you!”
