The "livestream" continues.
Among the three items, Angel first picked up the tallic ornant.
It was a silver coronet, roughly the size of a baby’s palm. The appearance was understated, in a traditional three-pointed coronet style, and it didn’t aim for a luxurious look. However, the details and hidden patterns were quite exquisite. For instance, the pointed tip seed sharp, but the maker added a streamlined curve behind the tip, making it not prickly to touch.
Additionally, although there were no gemstones inlaid on the coronet, it didn’t detract from its finesse because the front of the coronet was engraved with vine and rose carvings. In the hollowed-out areas of the carvings, there was a faint glimr of gold powder. The silver base occasionally sparkled with golden light, and with the vague carvings, it was certainly crafted with great skill, at least when viewed up close.
However, no matter how beautiful or exquisite it is, it’s just an ordinary ornant. Other than amazent at the craftsman’s skill, there’s nothing much to discuss.
"This coronet should be a decoration, or perhaps... a hair accessory, with hidden clasps inside that can clip onto so hair," Angel speculated to himself.
"It shouldn’t be a hair accessory; this coronet is very small, so soone with a lot of hair could just cover it up. Even if it’s visible, such a simple coronet seen from afar would likely confuse people, making it hard to serve the function of a hair accessory." It was Dox speaking. He first contradicted Angel’s guess about it being a hair accessory, then carefully studied the coronet on the light screen and wondered: "And as for being a decoration, it doesn’t really fit either, as it wouldn’t serve much decorative function placed in a house. But it could be put in a museum display case, with a legend crafted around it, to make it a display piece."
Black Earl also chid in following Dox’s comnt: "Even the Ghosteye Witch didn’t display it, so it doesn’t really seem like a decorative item."
Angel accepted their opinions, but only listened and then let it go.
"No matter what function it serves, it’s still an ordinary item with little usefulness," Angel said as he weighed it. "If anyone wants it, I can bring it to you later."
With that, Angel put down the coronet and picked up the two perfu bottles.
The screen smoothly switched to the perfu bottles, using top-down and circular lens language to showcase every detail of the bottles.
Angel’s illusion screen was quite impressive, but there wasn’t much to say about the perfu bottles.
They were just ordinary perfu bottles made of decent material. Apart from the Snake Entwined Staff logo appearing on the bottom, there was nothing else noteworthy.
"Judging by the pattern at the bottom, these are likely similar to the boxes outside, mass-produced bottles from Naraku City in bygone tis. Besides being sturdy and durable, they have no other functions."
After Angel finished speaking, he deliberately paused to see if anyone had different opinions.
No one spoke. It turned out there was indeed no disputing the bottle itself.
Angel started the next step, opening the perfu bottle. As he slowly unscrewed the cap, Angel explained: "Today’s perfu bottles have gone through several modifications, resulting in a more universal design. Nearly all can be used without direct exposure of the scent, allowing for small doses. These bottles that require cap unscrewing have been obsolete for so ti."
While explaining, Angel used illusions to simulate several common and universal perfu bottles, as well as so rare and custom-made ones.
For instance, Lianna’s exclusive perfu bottle and its corresponding emblem; also, the "Mushroom Witch" Regina’s perfu bottle... Although Regina is more adept at using mushrooms to create potions, perfu-making falls under the branch of Potionology that she naturally knows as well.
Not only Regina but even the "Magic Potion" Midora had a custom perfu bottle.
With an educational mindset, Angel showcased these special custom-made perfu bottles.
The universal perfu bottles were ones people might not have used but had at least seen. However, these special perfu bottles were indeed unseen by them.
Even Black Earl hadn’t seen a few of the perfu bottles. After all, Earl wouldn’t go to the Research and Developnt Institute to customize perfu.
So, Angel’s educational showcase wasn’t completely useless, at least it broadened their horizons.
When he unscrewed the cap, Angel was greeted by a familiar fragrance.
It was the scent in the room.
However, Angel wasn’t particularly skilled at describing scents, so he could only say: "Slled directly, it’s slightly pungent, but when diluted, it slls quite nice. It’s a mixed fragrance, and I can’t discern the exact ingredients, but it has a hint of sweetness."
After a pause: "As for its effect, other than slightly speeding up blood circulation, no other effects are visible."
Dox: "Then could this be a seductive fragrance?"
Angel: "Not sure. Anyway, it certainly can’t stimulate my Shulomon."
Seductive fragrances usually actively guide the body’s release of Shulomon to attract the opposite sex via pheromones.
"Maybe it just doesn’t suit your taste?" Dox interjected: "After all, this is a Ghosteye Witch’s scent, maybe it’s ant to attract other Ghosteye Witches?"
"Probably not, at least this perfu can’t attract other Ghosteye Witches."
It should be noted that the scent of this perfu was the room’s scent. If it could interest other Ghosteye Witches, there wouldn’t be none around.
Angel put down the bottle and opened the other perfu bottle.
As soon as this bottle was opened, Angel felt a bone-chilling cold sweep over him, quickly surrounding him with a chill that felt like being in a frigid icy lake.
"So, so, so cold!" Dangross shivered, jumped off Angel, and quickly hid in the corner of the room.
This was a coldness that even Dangross couldn’t withstand.
"What’s the effect?" Others didn’t know Angel’s condition at that mont, so Dox curiously asked.
After a mont of silence, Angel’s voice sounded: "This perfu should assist ice-type creatures in cultivation. Once opened, it envelops you in chill."
"As for the scent, it’s very faint. It’s also a mixed fragrance, and I can’t trace the raw materials."
After listening, Dox seed slightly disappointed: "One seductive scent and one cold one, how dull. I thought they might have so special effects..."
Pausing, Dox then wondered: "But why would a Ghosteye Witch use a cold scent?"
Angel: "I think what you should wonder now is not why a Ghosteye Witch used a cold scent, but where did these perfus co from?"
Although Fragrance Studies is a branch of Potionology, perfu is harder to preserve than potions. In fact, even Witch’s Soup is more durable than perfu.
Unless perfu is bottled using special perfu bottles, its longevity can’t be extended.
However, looking at these two perfu bottles, neither is that kind of special bottling. Aside from being tightly sealed, they don’t have any other preservation effects.
Considering both perfus, they probably wouldn’t last more than ten years.
So, it absolutely won’t be the fragrance from ten thousand years ago, but sothing refined recently. Then, how did these two bottles of fragrance end up in the hands of the Ghosteye Witch? And who refined them?
If it was said that the Ghosteye Witch refined them, Angel absolutely does not believe it.
The first bottle of fragrance has very little effect; perhaps the exceptionally talented Ghosteye Witch might be able to brew it up.
But the second bottle of fragrance, without the corresponding formula, it is impossible to refine. Even if there is a formula, where could the materials be found?
This Ghosteye Witch lives in such destitution, how could he possibly obtain the extraordinary materials needed to refine fragrance? Therefore, Angel personally leans towards the idea that soone else gave them to the Ghosteye Witch.
"Ordinary apprentices find it very difficult to reach the Hanging Jail Stairway. Daymouth just ntioned, no one has co here in recent years. So who refined these two bottles of fragrance, and who gave them to the Ghosteye Witch?"
After posing the question, Angel added: "As far as I know, the Dominator Daymouth spoke of is skilled in alchemy. And its location isn’t far from here."
Vay: "Now that you ntion it, maybe only that person could refine fragrance?"
Dox: "So, the backing behind that Ghosteye Witch is that old monster who has lived for thousands of years?... No wonder, no wonder I vaguely felt that this Ghosteye Witch is suspicious."
Dox’s inspiration, it seems, was not wrong; dealing with this Ghosteye Witch might have consequences, which might refer to that existence?
Angel: "Maybe it is." Although he doesn’t know what relationship the Triclops Blue Demon has with this Ghosteye Witch, Angel currently thinks the only fragrance source is through the Triclops Blue Demon.
Dox: "Then what are you going to do now? Do you still plan to oppose the Ghosteye Witch?"
Angel: "I wasn’t opposing the Ghosteye Witch. I just want to take back that ornant, and I won’t take it for free."
Angel spoke while slowly simulating the appearance of the silver ornant in the illusion.
"I refined an exact replica using Mithril, and I plan to directly replace it at that ti." Angel paused: "Compared to the ineffective ornant, the one refined with Mithril can at least provide so protective function of Mithril."
"Why are you obsessed with that ordinary material ornant? You could just refine one to take back, wouldn’t it be the sa?" Dox said.
Angel was silent for a mont: "It’s different in aning."
"So, you’re still planning to continue?" Dox didn’t care about the aning; he wanted to know what Angel would do next.
This ti, Angel didn’t give a definitive answer but glanced back at Earl Mi, still hugging with two armored Ghosteye Witches, and softly said: "...Pending."
If Earl Mi can forcibly drag other Ghosteye Witches into cultivation, Angel still plans to give it a try.
But if Earl Mi can’t do it, then... forget it.
Angel doesn’t want to waste too much ti here or offend that old monster over sothing trivial.
Dox: "Pending? Looks like you’re still considering it. Alright, figure it out yourself. You have backing, and Black Earl is here, I’m also free, so there shouldn’t be major issues. Even if there is a problem, you can put these two apprentices into your bracelet, and we can just run. It should be fine."
Angel: "Thank you... However, it probably won’t co to running."
Angel won’t do things that he’s completely unsure of. If Earl Mi can’t pull other Ghosteye Witches into cultivation, he won’t test the dangerous waters.

However, at this mont, two voices simultaneously sounded in the Mind Ribbon.
One from Dox, the other from... Kaier.
Angel paused his hand, puzzled, and asked: "Why, is there sothing else you want to see? If you want to see this cell, I can only show a bit or use a minimized aerial perspective to display it."
Dox didn’t imdiately answer Angel but first asked Kaier: "Kaier, do you have anything?"
Kaier: "No, nothing, just a bit of curiosity. You go ahead, don’t mind ."
"Strange." Dox muttered and then said to Angel: "I don’t have anything to see, you just ntioned, live demonstration? What kind of coined word is that?"
Actually, the Wizards’ Realm also has the concept of live broadcasts, like during the New Star Competition when the streets were filled with light screens, and comntators spoke passionately. So auctions, due to insufficient interior space, set up large light screens outside to allow outsiders a chance to bid simultaneously with the inside.
Though the concept exists, it hasn’t yet ford a system.
Moreover, the word "live demonstration" and its coining rules are completely different from the Wizards’ Realm. Angel understands it easily, thanks to Jon’s education, as he mastered two entirely different language systems. Others having doubts is very normal.
Angel: "Don’t mind it; it’s a temporary na I gave to this real-ti demonstration."
"Really? Live demonstration... sounds strange." Dox murmured, then said: "However, your real-ti demonstration is quite interesting, especially the part about the fragrance bottle, worth keeping saved."
Angel: "Thanks for the complint. Anything else?"
Dox: "I’m done."
Angel: "And Kaier? Do you have anything?"
Kaier hesitated before speaking: "Master, I just feel that small crown..."
"Do you want it? I can bring it out for you." Angel imdiately offered.
Kaier quickly said: "No, it’s just that, the small crown, and the silver ornant you just simulated during... live demonstration, the color looks quite similar. And also, the size seems to match; might there be a connection?"
Kaier quickly offered his thoughts then said: "It’s just a small guess of mine, probably wrong. Don’t mind, don’t mind..."
Kaier seed afraid Angel would think he’s stupid and scold him, muttering to himself.
Angel had no such intention, instead intrigued by Kaier’s idea.
Before, he didn’t think the crown and ornant were connected, but now that he thinks about it, the colors do seem a bit similar? And the sizes might match nicely?
