"Senior Quinn!" Bella seed a little embarrassed as her face turned red, and she puffed out her cheeks, making her small face look like a soft pink bun.
"Hahaha!" The others laughed along as well, but there was no malice in their laughter.
The topic shifted naturally, and soon a reporter began questioning Vivian Norris and the other actors.
Aside from one deliberately troubleso male reporter, the press conference went smoothly without any more hitches.
Once the conference concluded, the crew organized a al for the journalists who had co from afar and handed out red envelopes.
Bella and the others were then taken to a pre-booked private room to have lunch.
Sharon smiled and said, "Bella, your response just now was excellent." It was surprisingly even better than she had expected.
She had been worried when she heard the male reporter’s aggressive questioning, thinking that if she stepped in to answer for Bella, it would only make things seem more suspicious and negatively impact Bella.
She had originally thought Bella would be intimidated by the male reporter’s imposing manner, but unexpectedly, Bella had teasingly answered his question. Witty and a bit sharp, it was truly unexpected.
Seeing the male reporter’s dark expression at the end, even he probably didn’t expect that Bella, as a newcor, could turn the tables on him like that.
Archer Quinn, though he had anticipated that Bella would fight back today, didn’t expect her counterattack to be so naturally perfect, even he was a bit surprised.
"Really?" Bella blushed, a bit shyly. "I was afraid my answer wasn’t good enough, I’m still nervous now. Ms. Cheney, feel my legs, they’re still shaking."
Though Bella tried to act innocent and calm, this was her first ti attending such a conference, and she was actually very nervous inside. She managed to hold steady on stage, but as soon as she stepped down, her legs started trembling.
Sharon really did reach out and touch her legs, feeling them tremble, and couldn’t help but laugh, "You little rascal, I thought you were actually calm on stage. Turns out it was all an act."
"Hehe." Bella squinted with a smile, "When I stood on stage, I imagined myself as a battle-hardened veteran actor and followed that character setting. Phew, luckily I held it together without slipping up, or it would have been super embarrassing."
"As a newcor and your first ti at a press conference, even if you didn’t answer well, it wouldn’t have been a big issue." Sharon lowered her voice and said quietly, "But maybe you didn’t notice while you were focused on handling the reporter, I saw Vivian’s expression change. I also asked Old Wang, and he said that the male reporter wasn’t soone he invited, and he doesn’t know how he got in. Who do you think is behind this?"
"Who else could it be?" A cold glint flashed in Bella’s eyes, "But they probably never expected I wouldn’t be intimidated today."
