"No matter what you do, I’ll support you." Archer Quinn smiled gently, reaching out to tousle Bella’s bangs, "So don’t feel guilty. Honestly, seeing you looking all guilty and like a little pitiful puppy, I really want to scoop you up and give you a good hug."
Bella was speechless, "Senior Quinn, you’re a big star; pay so attention to your image, okay? Besides, I’m not a puppy! And if I were, I’d bite you! Humph!"
Archer Quinn chuckled softly, his eyes hiding a steady affection. He thought: Silly girl, even if it’s just borrowing a bit of fa, I’d gladly do anything for you.
The three of them walked forward, talking and laughing quietly, the atmosphere harmoniously pleasant.
Vivian Norris gave a cold sideways glance at the assistant beside her, hissing, "Didn’t you say everything was arranged? What kind of stupid questions was that male reporter asking? With his psychological resilience, he should be at ho raising pigs instead of being an entertainnt journalist!"
"Vivi, I... we didn’t expect Bella to answer so calmly; she’s a newcor, how... how..."
"I don’t want to hear your excuses now!" Vivian Norris cut her assistant off coldly, "Instead of benefiting us, today’s events left an impression of Bella on the gathered reporters. Truly more harm than good; is it just free food I’m providing for you?"
The assistant, reprimanded into silence, followed with their head down, feeling very aggrieved, even their eyes were slightly red.
Having vented her anger, Vivian Norris’s tone suddenly softened, gently patting the assistant’s shoulder, she said tenderly, "I’m in a bad mood, I shouldn’t have taken it out on you, don’t be mad at ."
"Vivi, I... I wouldn’t dare." The assistant shuddered, instinctively wanting to step aside, but ultimately restrained themselves.
"You’ve been by my side for so many years, you know I’m just quick-tempered, and don’t really an it, don’t take it to heart," Vivian Norris smiled faintly, speaking softly, "Alright, you’ve been busy all day too, go have a al."
"O-Okay." The assistant nodded, hesitated for a mont before heading to the private room reserved for assistants and staff.
Vivian Norris watched her back, her gaze turning cold again, cursing under her breath, "Useless fool!" Clearly it’s ti to hire a couple of people who can really get things done around her.
Speaking of capable people, Vivian thought of Elaine Vaughn’s studio, which had overco its difficulties! Who was helping from behind the scenes, no matter how she tried to use her network, she couldn’t find out anything. As for Jaden Lynch, he’s another fool who can’t handle even small matters, only knows how to indulge in the vices of eating, drinking, whoring, and gambling!
It’s still only soone like Damian Sinclair who is worthy of her!
