Bella Acker watched as Joy hovered around Damian Sinclair, crying worriedly while taking out a handkerchief, seemingly wanting to wipe the bruise at the corner of his mouth.
Damian Sinclair ignored her, his gaze solely on Bella Acker.
Bella’s lips moved, wanting to ask whether this girl was really his girlfriend, but before she could get the words out, her heart was already aching.
Moreover, standing in front of her was the formidable Mrs. Sinclair.
In the end, Bella said nothing, nodded lightly, turned around, and went into the restaurant to get so ice from the waiter.
Mrs. Sinclair frowned and said, "Damian, you saw it yourself. She can just turn around and get involved with other n. Now you should understand that I’m not trying to harm you."
"I don’t want to argue about sothing that doesn’t exist, but as for today, I hope it’s the last ti." Damian’s deep eyes withdrew as he said, "Mom, I have my limits."
Upon hearing this, Mrs. Sinclair’s face also darkened. "You’re already at such an age, isn’t it ti to find a decent partner and prepare for marriage?"
Beside them, Joy saw both of their unpleasant expressions and awkwardly stood frozen, not knowing whether to stay or leave.
Not wanting to argue with her son in public, Mrs. Sinclair took a breath, softened her expression slightly, and said, "Let’s not discuss this for now. Let’s first get to the hospital to treat the wound on your face. And also..."
As she spoke, Mrs. Sinclair turned her gaze to Archer Quinn and said, "You’re an actor, aren’t you? Prepare to receive a court summons." It was infuriating that soone dared to hit her son!
Archer Quinn did not respond, only looking at Damian Sinclair, "Mr. Sinclair, don’t you have anything to say?"
"Stay out of it," Damian said with a stern face, his brows showing a hint of fierceness.
"Sorry, I’m afraid I can’t do that," Archer Quinn replied. "If you don’t care, I do."
Damian frowned, his expression darkening further.
While they were talking, Bella Acker had already returned with the ice.
She was holding two bags of ice and two cloth towels.
Bella hesitated for a mont but still walked towards Damian.
Mrs. Sinclair imdiately blocked the way, her attitude obviously one of refusal and wariness.
Bella stopped in front of her and said, "Mrs. Sinclair, please use the ice to help Damian with his wound. It’ll make it feel better."
"No need." Mrs. Sinclair refused outright without a second thought.
Bella’s hand stiffened slightly, and she said in a small voice, "I know you don’t like , but Damian’s wound still needs to be treated."
Mrs. Sinclair looked at her coldly, not accepting the ice and the towels, and continued to block Damian, preventing him from reaching out.
"Mom!" Damian was seething with anger inside, on the verge of losing his temper.
Joy quickly stepped forward and said, "Give the ice and towels to . I’ll take care of Damian. Thank you, for getting the ice for your boyfriend while still thinking of our Damian."
The words "our Damian" were like a sharp sword, piercing Bella’s heart, making her almost lose her breath and falter.
As Joy reached out to take the ice and towels from Bella’s hands, her face bore a sincere smile, making it unclear if her words were intentional or accidental.
Bella looked up at Damian in a daze. This woman already declared "our Damian" right in front of her. Was he really not going to explain anything?
Or was it that this woman was really already his girlfriend?
