I made several different dishes and... Well... Since Theresa was also there, I made a simple plate of fried rice for her as well.
She was hesitant on accepting it at first but I figured that she was definitely sent here to check if I had cooking skills too so she was just giving lip service.
I made different als for the rest including so seared fish with garlic and glazed with my honey.
We took one of the empty tables near the stall, ignoring the people that were having sex behind us on the other side of the ss hall and promptly dug in.
Honestly... The moaning coming from our table when they tasted my food kind of matched the moans that were coming from the other side of the hall as well.
Which helped quite a bit because there was a certain eldritch being that wanted her lunch as well and she took it in the form of pure honey straight from the tap...
I’m not even sure if anyone even noticed the slurping sounds coming from under the table but if they did, no one said anything.
Unsurprisingly, Theresa was completely floored by my cooking and cleaned out her plate to the point that she licked the entire thing clean, not even leaving a grain of rice behind.
"M... Miss Tera!! H... How... How are you able to cook sothing like this?! And you claim you don’t have a cooking license?!"
I gave her a smile, "Well... I’m self taught..."
"You learned how to make food like this by yourself?! This... I... I suppose... As expected of Miss Tera?"

Then again... I don’t really want to explain to her anyway so I guess that’s a good thing...
She then looked down at her plate again and looked surprised that it was empty before she turned to with a pleading expression on her face.
"M... Miss Tera? Umm... This... This may sound... A little obnoxious of but... Could... Could I perhaps... Have more?"
Well... I thought she might ask for sothing like that... That’s why I went ahead to take her plate and fill up another serving from the pot that I kept beside .
The girls also asked for more so I went ahead to give them seconds as well before returning back to my own plate.
All of us polished off our plates a second ti and I leaned back in my seat to let out a contented sigh.
Theresa shuddered, "I... Don’t know if I can go back to eating normal food after this... This is too good..."
Well... Nothing I can do about that...
She then gave a serious look, "Miss Tera? Would you accept a position as a dedicated chef?"
"Not a chance," I answered without hesitation.
"Ah... I suppose that is to be expected... By the way... I just want to know how you managed to get this sweet and salty taste in this fried rice? I’ve never tasted sothing like this before..."
"Oh, I put so honey into the rice. What do you think?"
She blinked at , "Honey?"
"That’s right. It’s honey and garlic chicken fried rice. What do you think?"
She looked back down at her empty plate for a mont before looking back at , "Forgive but... I don’t think we stock honey on this station... Where did you even get so honey to cook with?"
I’m surprised she even knows what the station is stocked with... I was hoping she didn’t and just thought that I got the honey from their stock...
I was just about to tell her that I brought my own honey from my ship when Amber spoke up quickly, "Oh, the honey ca from Tera hereself~"

Granted, Ries helped out a lot with the auto cooker to the point that I can just press a button to make it... But there’s still the restriction that I have to go do it myself because of the character traits...
Also, doing it via the machine instead of manually making them has shown to cause the quality of the products to go down a little too...

Mara didn’t even seem surprised by her accusation and simply sipped the tea that Lea had brewed for us.
Theresa continued, "Are you really expecting to believe that you managed to get your hands on one of the experintal gene mods that isn’t even slated to be released out into the public made by XenoTrend Corp?"

The technology already exists, but they are keeping it for the rich, the influential and maybe test subjects for now instead of releasing them to the general public.
Only after they have had their fun with it or co up with the next toy would they release this as so kind of ’new technology’.
Since Mara used to be part of the Noble circle, she probably still has access to the secret stuff that isn’t accessible to the general public yet which was why she knew about them.
Or... It could also be that this tech has been out for years now before she even left the family and they’ve just been keeping it a secret all this while...
I wondered why they would keep a tech like this a secret since selling it to the public would obviously an they would rake in more profits right? And not releasing it would also an there’s a possibility that a rival company could make sothing similar and claim it as their own instead if they released it first...
Well... Then again... What do I know about how corporations work?
Mara placed her tea back on the table and shrugged, "Feel free to believe or not. I’m only telling the truth."
Theresa shook her head, "It’s alright if you don’t want to tell . I understand there’s so things that you want to keep secret as well."
She then stood up and bowed slightly towards , "Miss Tera. Thank you for the wonderful lunch you have treated . You can just bring the plates to the window by the side over there and it will be cleaned for you. Also, you can use that place as your kitchen whenever you want. If you are still interested in getting the cooking license, do let know and I will make the necessary arrangents for you."
She then left the table without another word, going to the place she ntioned to drop off her used plate.
Hmm... I guess I can say that ended better than I thought?
