We left the inn and Masauyama led us down the street towards the direction of the lower districts, the pri minister using a mask to hide his identity.

I was expecting the temple to be located in the upper districts but I guess that wouldn’t make sense as the commoners would be unable to access the temple if that was the case.

I’m also assuming they don’t have the leeway to build multiple temples dedicated to the sa god either, especially when they are not their patron god.

As we walked, I noticed so people looking in our direction and thought they recognised the pri minister or sothing but none of them actually directed their gaze at him but at us instead.

I guess they were just surprised to see outsiders or sothing but that couldn’t be the case since there were other people of different races around us too.

It didn’t really matter so I paid no mind to them as we continued until we reached a distinct looking temple within the lower districts.

Despite the buildings around it looking relatively simple, the temple itself was decorated quite intricately and there was even a small garden surrounding it which separated the temple from the other buildings.

The mont we stepped into the garden, a flash of light appeared in front of us and I was forced to look away to avoid being blinded.

When the light subsided, a female Nekomata was standing there with a pair of distinct white feathered wings on her back.

She narrowed her eyes at us, "Prayer ti is over. What are you doing here?"

Masuyama gestured to , "Goddess Nilali has asked to guide her here for a eting."

I thought the Nekomata Comissar might try to turn us away but she unexpectedly stepped aside and nodded at .

She took over Masuyama’s role and led the way into the temple, the doors swinging inwards automatically as she got close to the temple.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I entered the temple but it certainly does look like a church inside.

They even had rows of pews arranged facing the altar at the front with a pedestal where a priest or priestess might stand to address the crowd.

At the very back was what appeared to be a statue of the Goddess Nilali herself though the statue itself was surrounded by the multiple pairs of wing carvings that sprouted from the statue’s back, making it look more like a mass of wings than a person standing there.

The Comissar leading us turned back and motioned to the pews, "Everyone else can take a seat. Only Miss Aster shall follow to the altar."

No one complained and they did as they were told, leaving to follow the Nekomata Comissar up to the altar alone.

She stopped right in front of the statue and turned to to look up and down, as though she was sizing up.

"Are you ready?" She asked.

Err... I’m not sure what I was supposed to be ready for but I just nodded my head.

The Nekomata’s wings flared and she clasped her hands together in prayer.

Light seed to gather around her before she exploded in a flash of light, forcing to cover my eyes again.

When I could finally open my eyes again, I realised I was no longer standing inside the church but on what appears to be a cloud instead.

Looking around , it seems like everything was just made up of clouds as far as I could see.

The cloud in front of then parted and what looked like a ball of feathers floated through the gap to stop in front of .

The feathers then slowly unfurled to reveal that they were actually a mass of wings and a figure erged from within the feathers.

I could tell straight away that she was a female with long golden hair that seed to shimr in the light and the only thing covering her was a strip of cloth that floated around her that just barely covered her private parts from view.

Behind her were twelve pairs of pure white wings which, when outstretched, seed impossibly big as they just kept stretching on and on.

I don’t even think my own wingspan was half of hers.

She slowly stretched out her arms before she opened her eyes, as though she was just waking up from a long dream.

She waved her hand in the air vaguely, "Currently suffering through the mories where they were abusing their poor victims. They will relive every single second of their suffering and once they are done, the cycle will repeat for three complete rotations before I allow them to go free. And even after that, they will receive a mark from where they are marked as a rapist for the rest of their life so anyone who sees them will know the atrocities that they have done."
