"I’ve just arrived at the Long-lasting Sky and am still not quite used to the environnt here. I can’t sleep well or eat properly; it’s really uncomfortable. My body doesn’t feel too good. Could I trouble you to manage things on my behalf for a while longer?" Li Xiu said with a smile.
"We’re all family; there’s no trouble at all. Rest assured, I’ll keep an eye on those matters for you. You can resu work when your health improves." Vice President Bai replied with a wide grin.
"We don’t have an attendance system here in the Long-lasting Sky, right?" Li Xiu asked.
"No, no, Commander Li, just focus on getting better. All benefits will be given out fully and on ti. You can co to to collect them, or I can have soone deliver them to your residence." Vice President Bai quickly responded.
"Then I’m relieved." After a friendly farewell with Vice President Bai, Li Xiu returned ho with Sha Chu.
Watching from the second-floor window as Li Xiu and Sha Chu left, the smile on Vice President Bai’s face gradually faded, muttering to himself, "This Li Xiu is no ordinary person."
"Exchanging a Demon Armor set for my Blood Seal Stone, you’re taking quite a loss." On the way back, Sha Chu smiled knowingly at Li Xiu and said.

Li Xiu didn’t answer, instead saying, "Without the Blood Seal Stone, taking over the Demon Armor group is pointless. Let that Bai person manage it for now. We should go to the Trial Gate, and hopefully gain entry to the Land of Trial. We need to bring so resources back; I have many magic spirits to feed and can’t just sit by and wait."
"Where do you have mountains?" Sha Chu laughed, "As far as I know, among the thousands of Trial Gates in the Long-lasting Sky, only about twenty to thirty percent have been fully developed. There are plenty of choices. I’m only familiar with a few I frequent; which Trial Gate do you want to explore?"

"Precisely because you are my father’s dear friend, when we didn’t know your whereabouts before, there was no way to express our sentints. Now that you’re finally back, I, as a niece, finally have the opportunity to express so junior’s goodwill." Han Minghui stated earnestly.
"There aren’t many people as affectionate as you nowadays; no wonder you could beco a Vice President." The Eighth Lord said with a smiling face, "Besides seeing this old man, is there anything else on your mind?"
"Nothing escapes the Eighth Lord’s sharp eyes." Han Minghui sighed and said, "Eighth Lord, I indeed have a matter I’d like your help with. If it weren’t concerning the decline and prosperity of the Han Family, I wouldn’t dare bother you."

"This is my brother, Mingshou, who has recently taken over as the Commander of the Seeking Tao Group. Eighth Lord, you know best. We have an unwritten rule here in the Long-lasting Sky that whoever assus the role of Commander, if the outgoing Commander has no close children, their magic spirits and contracts belong to the new Commander. The old Commander of the Seeking Tao Group not only had no children, but no relatives either. Yet, after his passing, those magic spirits and contracts that my brother should have inherited were taken away through deceitful ans, leaving him with nothing to inherit."
"Such a thing happened? I heard that old Taoist passed away naturally within the Long-lasting Sky. How could his belongings end up with others?" The Eighth Lord exclaid in surprise.
Han Minghui sighed, "That person was cunning. He took everything before the old Commander passed away. The old Commander shouldn’t have passed so soon; it was because of this that he did."
"Who is this person?" The Eighth Lord frowned.
To kill and seize contracts is a great taboo among Trial Takers. Although many have done it, rarely does anyone openly admit it.
"That person is called Sha Chu, originally a mber of the Seeking Tao Group." Han Mingshou hastily added.
"An ordinary mber would have no chance or capability to do such a thing?" The Eighth Lord asked.
Han Mingshou said indignantly, "That Sha Chu relied on her few charms to sohow beguile the old Commander, making him heed to her every wish, and led to such a disastrous end."
"I see, a hero can’t resist the lure of a beauty. Who would’ve thought the old Taoist also fell into the flowers and tarnished a lifeti of repute." The Eighth Lord sighed.
"Eighth Lord, it’s not that simple. The old Commander was likely victimized; Sha Chu is just an ordinary mber. Even if she has so charm, using her beauty to bewitch the old Commander, she probably doesn’t have the courage for such actions. There’s soone behind her." Han Minghui said, "If it were by the rules, our Han Family wouldn’t contest it, but that person was so underhanded, using a woman to seize all the old Commander’s magic spirits and contracts. We just can’t swallow this indignation. We hope you can stand up for us, Eighth Lord."
"I must. Even if you didn’t seek , given my friendship with that old Taoist, I can’t let him be unjustly hard so. Who is behind Sha Chu?" The Eighth Lord asked.
"That person is the newly appointed Commander of the Technician Group, Li Xiu." Han Mingshou imdiately replied.
