Tang Yanqi also noticed the wooden stick swung at her. She instinctively dodged back but knew she couldn’t avoid it. In a flash, she saw an arm extend in front of her; that person’s stick struck hard at Sheng Jianan’s elbow.
Before Tang Yanqi could react, she was pulled back, her shoulder held firmly as she was protected in his embrace.
Tang Yanqi was a bit dazed and looked up at the person shielding her. Sheng Jianan’s face appeared even more wild under the dim light.
"Are you okay?"
Tang Yanqi shook her head. Sheng Jianan tilted his head and suddenly smiled at her. Imdiately, Tang Yanqi felt her hand lighten as the stick she had snatched earlier was now in Sheng Jianan’s hand.
"With here, letting a woman do the fighting? Tang Yanqi, are you trying to embarrass ? Be good, go do sothing else, and wait for for three minutes."
After saying this, Sheng Jianan had already charged toward those who still wanted to co at them.
Tang Yanqi stood there montarily stunned, recalling Sheng Jianan’s last words. She quickly turned back and helped the shaking, son-holding shopkeeper lady to her feet, leading them to retreat further back.
No one in the crowd called the police, much less an ambulance. Tang Yanqi didn’t look towards Sheng Jianan’s direction. He told her to wait for him for three minutes, and she would wait. Tang Yanqi trusted Sheng Jianan; those people weren’t enough to hurt him in the slightest.
She quickly checked the boy’s wound. It hadn’t hit the bone; the blood on his arm was from sothing sharp, just a superficial wound, and the bleeding had already stopped, seemingly not severe.
"Does it hurt?"
Tang Yanqi gently asked, lowering her head. The boy raised his little face, vigorously shaking his head.
When Tang Yanqi’s gaze turned back to Sheng Jianan, she saw him on the phone with one hand, already kicking the last person flying to the ground with one foot.
As for the others, they had already fallen all over the place.
Tang Yanqi was speechless. At this mont, Grandpa Sheng still had the leisure to make a call?
Sheng Jianan calmly tucked away his phone, walking back to Tang Yanqi’s side as if nothing happened, a wild smile on his face: "Two minutes and thirteen seconds, pretty fast, huh?"

The police quickly arrived, taking away those Sheng Jianan had knocked down. Sheng Jianan never bothered to manage such things personally, leaving it to others to handle the aftermath, then left with Tang Yanqi.
He also sent the shopkeeper lady and her son to the hospital on their way.
After all this chaos, it was already quite late. Sheng Jianan decided not to return to the manor and took Tang Yanqi to his apartnt in the city center.
Even though it was late at night, perhaps due to what had happened earlier, Tang Yanqi felt little sleepiness. On top of that, she’d fought soone earlier and felt uncomfortable, wanting to shower.
But here’s the problem: this was Sheng Jianan’s apartnt. Last ti she was here, she only slept on the sofa and didn’t have any pajamas here.
Though things between her and Sheng Jianan were different now, and everything that should have happened had happened, sleeping naked was still a bit awkward. Tang Yanqi swallowed the words that were about to co out of her mouth.
Forget it. It’s just one night; it’s not like she absolutely has to shower.
