Sheng Jianan interjected, "It’s really just a heap of tal."
Su Anle smiled and shook her head, "Once, by chance, there were fireworks in Paris, and I happened to climb the Eiffel Tower. Looking at the fireworks from above, and overlooking the night view of Paris, I suddenly felt there was a reason people liked this tower, only there were too many people at the ti, a little blocking the view."
As Su Anle said this, her hands were resting on the railing, her long hair blown by the wind. Today she wore a simple white long dress, which, in Sheng Jianan’s eyes, was breathtakingly beautiful.
Su Weiyi seed to struggle with the jet lag more than adults, feeling drowsy all day and not often going out with Su Anle and the others. With Aunt at ho, Su Anle didn’t worry much about it.
Compared to going out, Su Weiyi naturally preferred staying ho alone to draw.
That day, after coming out of the translation institute, Sheng Jianan took Su Anle out to eat. Walking into a Chinese restaurant, after they ordered and sat down, Su Anle suddenly asked, "Why did you think of coming here?"
"Hmm? What’s the matter? You don’t like it?"
Su Anle shook her head, "No, it just reminds of sothing."
"Hmm?"
"Back then, to integrate into the local life as quickly as possible, my French was pretty good, but whenever they spoke too fast, it was a bit difficult. So, I thought of working in a restaurant as a waitress. Then one day, the table of guests I was responsible for finished eating and ran off without paying. Since it was my responsibility, the boss fined three days’ wages."
As Su Anle spoke, she laughed, "Thinking back to that ti, it was really embarrassing."
While listening, Sheng Jianan remained silent. It was Shen Jiyan who brought her to Paris and, because of his care, Su Anle’s life wasn’t like many TV shows where, after leaving the male lead, the female lead’s life becos destitute.
So, in fact, during her three years in Paris, Su Anle didn’t live poorly. As she passed certain street corners or dessert shops, she would recount to Sheng Jianan whatever she could still rember.
For example, which place had the best milk tea. For example, she practiced vocabulary translation by wearing headphones to listen to articles and accidentally bumped into a lamppost. Or once at night, because she got off work late and while walking to the parking lot from the translation institute, she encountered hooligans. As a result, she grabbed a brick from a flower stand by the roadside and hit the person, which even landed her in the police station.
After staying in Paris for a week, Su Anle’s work was finally mostly handed over. At the translation institute, because of her relatively cold personality and quick promotion, she drew quite a few unfavorable comnts, and her popularity wasn’t great, but everyone still symbolically held a farewell ceremony for her.
After the ceremony ended, Li Weiwei took Su Anle outside, "Sister Su, are you really going back?"
"Mm, I am going back."
"Sister Su, I haven’t told anyone about your affair, but I want to ask you, is your man, Xiao Yi’s father, really the president of Shengshi Group?"
Su Anle hesitated for two seconds but nodded.
Li Weiwei hugged her tightly, "Sister Su, let hold your thigh. If I ever can’t get by, I’ll go to B City to find you and seek refuge."
Li Weiwei, simple and a bit careless, but she was a nice person and could keep promises. Su Anle hugged her back, "Weiwei, you’re too heavy, my leg is thin."
"Sister Su! We’re about to part ways, can’t you be less sarcastic?"
