And now, watching the two people beside her flaunting their love as if completely unaware, Sheng Jiayu finds herself not as envious as before.

After dinner, Sheng Jiayu didn’t leave imdiately. Tang Yanqi asked her about the book cafe, and the two chatted for a while before parting ways.
On Monday, everything was ready. Sheng Jiayu checked everything one last ti before slowly heading back to her apartnt, took a shower, and stood in front of the wardrobe.
All the clothes in her wardrobe have changed; the forr office lady style is gone, replaced by more intellectual Mori Girl style clothing.
The previous ones were directly tossed out by Xue Lu during one of her visits.
Though it’s not quite comfortable yet, she has to admit her wardrobe is now increasingly pleasing to the eye.
Sheng Jiayu picked a cal-colored knitted long dress, paired it with a matching scarf, and thought over it, then added a bright red Korean-style woolen coat, forming an outfit that looks gracious and festive.
After preparing her outfit, Sheng Jiayu slowly went to blow dry her hair.
She was very excited inside, not knowing if it was because her long-ti dream was finally coming true, or because of sothing else?
She didn’t try to distinguish, nor did she want to. She only knew her heart was now excited and fulfilled.
The weather played along, although it’s Christmas and quite cold, today the sun is shining beautifully outside. There’s no warmth, but the blue sky and bright sun lifted her mood.
The book cafe opened without a grand display or fireworks; she found those things a bit tacky. She simply opened the doors and spread the word to everyone, both online and offline.
For such a shop, the initial traffic won’t be high, and Sheng Jiayu didn’t mind.
She sat in a small compartnt by the window on the second floor, which was her office, watching the traffic below while the pâtissier, barista, and servers all got into position outside.
Sheng Jiayu looked at the bustling streets and a few people walking into her small shop, her face radiant and lips slightly curved.
There weren’t many people in the morning, slightly more in the afternoon, but it wasn’t busy.
Around seven in the evening, a group of people suddenly ca into Sheng Jiayu’s book cafe.
Each person was carrying bags of various sizes.
Gu Han was the first to jump out: "The most beautiful and charming sister, congratulations on your opening."
Sheng Jiayu had already co down from upstairs, took the unknown item Gu Han handed her, and smiled graciously: "Thank you."
She welcod them to sit. Sheng Jianan and Tang Yanqi, Zhou Chengze and Gu Han, and... Su Chen.
Sheng Jiayu originally thought Su Chen was just Mu Ke’s good friend, but now she learned that Su Chen was also Zhou Chengze’s distant relative, albeit distant with little contact until Su Chen moved back to B City for work. An unintended encounter made them aware of this.
Zhou Chengze and Su Chen are quite alike; both have a carefree playboy deanor, yet compared to Su Chen, Zhou Chengze carries a more noble air, while Su Chen is easier going and appears less solemn.
After chatting for a while, Sheng Jianan spoke: "I’ve booked a restaurant, should we head over now?"
Everyone agreed. Halfway, Sheng Jiayu received a call from Xue Lu, congratulating her on the new store opening.
Due to differences in social standing, Xue Lu, although quite close to Sheng Jiayu, rarely interacts with people from that circle. It was an unwritten rule they had followed for years.
