Mu Ke held Sheng Jiayu tightly, almost squeezing her into his chest. It was his negligence, his mistake; he should have picked her up earlier.
Despite the unspeakable pain and turmoil in his heart, Mu Ke quickly released Sheng Jiayu: "Are you hurt anywhere?"
Sheng Jiayu’s back and waist hurt terribly. She shook her head and spoke: "It was Su Wan, it was Su Wan who orchestrated it."
As she was speaking, she suddenly heard Xin Ke shout from behind: "Su Wan, don’t run!"
Following his voice, Sheng Jiayu also saw Su Wan staggering towards a car not far away, and she was stunned. She hadn’t expected Su Wan to still be here.
Mu Ke’s eyes darkened: "Get in the car."
Xin Ke reacted quickly as well, rushing into the car. As Mu Ke drove at breakneck speed, he called Sheng Jianan’s people.
The reason he found this place so quickly was because of the information provided by Sheng Jianan. Others were not far away, but he was the first to arrive. Now, as Mu Ke spoke, all the highways leading out of here were locked down.
But there were still many mountain trails here, and Su Wan could escape through those forest paths. However, Sheng Jiayu had a feeling she wouldn’t get away.

When Su Wan got out of the car, she seed completely unhinged, screaming hysterically at Sheng Jiayu: "Sheng Jiayu..."
Her eyes were filled with unabashed hatred, her face twisted, like a madwoman.
Soone had already subdued Su Wan, and Sheng Jiayu wasn’t afraid of her. But she was startled by Su Wan’s nearly broken and nacing expression.

Sheng Jiayu nodded. Suddenly, a loud explosion sounded from sowhere in the distance, piercing everyone’s eardrums, instantly drawing their attention.
However, Su Wan suddenly broke free from the person restraining her, who was taken aback, and she really did break free: "Sheng Jiayu, go die..."
Su Wan charged hysterically, holding a shiny knife, its blade glittering coldly under the sun. Mu Ke reacted the fastest, turning to shield Sheng Jiayu, hugging her tightly and dodging to the side. Su Wan’s knife missed its mark.
Sheng Jiayu’s mind went blank. Su Wan’s steps were actually unsteady, but she moved quickly. Her first stab missed, and before anyone else could react, she lunged again with the second.
Sheng Jiayu saw the blade about to slice through Mu Ke’s arm. She didn’t know where her strength ca from or what she was thinking at that mont as she pushed Mu Ke with all her might, spinning 180 degrees.
With a ripping sound, the blade tore through clothing, piercing her skin.
After a brief mont of emptiness, pain swept through her entire body.
"Xiao Yu..."
