If it weren’t for this tiny sense of familiarity in her heart, An Nan would have already turned around and left.
Ultimately, Jesse recognized the truth, which was that the woman in front of him had completely forgotten about him. On one hand, he felt disappointed, but on the other, a firm belief took shape in his heart: today, he must make this woman rember him once and for all.
At the very least, he wanted to ensure that the next ti she saw him, she wouldn’t ask who he was.
Instantly changing his previously gloomy mood, he plastered a sincere smile on his face and introduced himself to the woman in front of him: "Hello, please allow to reintroduce myself. My na is Jesse Li. As you can see, I’m of mixed Chinese and French heritage, and our first eting was in a won’s clothing store. Do you rember?"
With this reminder from him, a familiar scene unfolded in An Nan’s mind, and she exclaid in surprise, "You’re that handso male sales associate! Why are you here?"
The words "handso male sales associate" caused the corner of Jesse’s mouth to twitch involuntarily.
How was he cute? He was obviously a handso guy, wasn’t he?
Jesse hated when people comnted on his looks, but with the person in front of him, he was utterly helpless.
The next mont, he spoke to clarify, "Sorry to interrupt, but I think I need to clarify sothing. I’m not rely a handso sales associate; that won’s clothing store you visited is mine."
This ti, it was An Nan’s turn to be surprised: "So you’re a designer."
An Nan suddenly thought of sothing. She rembered that Roman’s designer was of mixed Chinese and French descent, and linking that with what the person in front of her had just said, many things beca clear.
However, she was still sowhat shocked that such a famous international designer was so young, even quite adorable. For instance, at this mont, the guy in front of her was pouting slightly, and that cute, submissive deanor was just irresistible.
Although An Nan was 28, she was like any other woman, unable to resist cute things, let alone a real living person.
It’s uncertain how he managed to persuade her afterward, but An Nan ended up going with him.
It wasn’t until the car was driving on the highway from the airport to the city that she realized, bewildered, how she got there. Wasn’t she supposed to go back to the hotel to rest?
Then, with a faint curve in the corner of her mouth, she thought, oh well, since I’m here already, I may as well make the most of it. The main reason she trusted this person so easily was the relaxed feeling Jesse gave her. She had been to France so many tis, yet never really explored the city, so his words at the airport intrigued her.
"Do you want to take a good look around this city? I can be your free guide. You should know, as designers, we constantly need to change our perspective, so I absolutely know the most unique places in this city, far better than those famous tourist spots you know. I firmly believe you will like them."
It was these words that persuaded An Nan.
The car reached the city, and Jesse found a place with little traffic to park the car. By this ti, An Nan had fallen asleep against the passenger seat.
The man in the driver’s seat beside her finally had the chance to carefully observe her.
