Jack Baldor?
Tusi was puzzled. Isn’t that the na of the person trapped in the well? Did he climb out and find his own armor?
I thought the normal process would be to find the armor and throw it to him for a reward, but now it’s not interesting.
Just why does his voice sound so strange? Has he caught a cold from being in the well for too long?
"Everyone, charge!"
The Bone Stick Team could take on a Church Knight together, and the Onion Knight could also handle one solo. With his joining, the tide of the battle instantly turned, and people saw hope for victory.
"We won!"
As the Church Knights fell and turned to dust, the adventurers raised their arms in cheer while the Onion Knight crouched down nearby to rest.
His pose was peculiar, casually squatting there, despite wearing bulky armor, his actions were roguish—looking even more like a rascal than the rascals of Lake Lienia, mismatched with his appearance.
Tusi cleared his throat, approached him, and said:
"Thank you for your help. I didn’t expect you to climb out of the well by your own strength and recover your armor. Congratulations."
The Onion Knight "Jack Baldor" paused for a mont, then reacted, burst into laughter, and said, "So it’s you, the one who spoke to by the well. It’s fate. No need to thank . Catalina’s Knights always help others."
The adventurers were deeply moved, thinking ancient tis indeed had simple folks and a true selfless Knight.
"We must thank you; is there anything we can do for you?" Tusi persistently asked, mainly to probe if there was any task for the residual shadow before him.
"Let’s see, hmm... Then give so souls. But this isn’t a reward from earlier; it’s a trade. You give souls, and I’ll tell you the location of a treasure vault in the Deep Church."
In less than a second, the adventurers took out the Soul of a Heroic Warrior they had just harvested.
Treasure vault!
We knew that any church would have a treasure vault! These godly types are the greediest!
"Haha, you all seem to be in desperate need of money, aren’t you? Well, let tell you, see the gate behind ? Go through that gate to the other side, and there’s a hidden narrow path. Follow it, and you’ll finally reach the treasure vault. I’ve already taken a lot of good stuff, the rest is up to you."
As he spoke, the Onion Knight inadvertently revealed the shimring treasures in his waist pack, and Tusi couldn’t help but breathe heavily.
He turned to look at his companions, all of whom were excited to the point of blushing.
The Hasavi Team hadn’t appeared yet. It seed like the day was almost over, close to the dungeon’s closing ti, and the Bone Stick Team couldn’t wait too long.
"Let’s go get the treasure!"
"Exactly, and after we see Mr. Fingerley, we’ll share with them too!"
"This knight who looks like an onion is truly a great guy, I’ve taken a liking to him!"
The adventurers radiated a festive vibe akin to a spring outing, each amazed by the pile of treasures seemingly close at hand.
"Goodbye, thank you!"
Just as Tusi turned to say thanks to the Onion Knight, suddenly he trembled underfoot, people nearly lost their balance and fell.
Upon further inspection, the gate was slowly descending!
And near the gate, a group of monsters had already gathered, while the fallen giant nearby moved slightly.
"Boss, what’s going on here!"
Just when the adventurers were panicking, a shifty laughter resounded, it was the Onion Knight!
"Hehehe, greed truly is humanity’s never-fading base color."
"It’s you who did this!" Tusi instantly realized he was conned!
The Onion Knight slowly removed his helt, revealing a shiny bald head and a rascal-like grin, exclaiming:
"Indeed, people beco relaxed whenever they see an onion. Goodbye, now go play with the giant."
"No—"
Tusi fully awoke, realizing that the one before him was not Jack Baldor at all, but was Bed City’s previously infamous—
Patch!
Watching the descending gate along with a mass of monsters, the adventurers felt their lives counting down and let out a wonderful shout.
anwhile, on the opposite side of the second floor, Hasavi Team’s figure appeared. After knocking the giant slaves out, realizing they were poisoned, they hurriedly ran ashore for treatnt.
Following upward stairs, returning to the second floor, but on the other side.
"The gate moved, but why did Tusi and the team fall down?"
Fingerley sighed helplessly, having disappeared for just a while, how Bone Stick Team managed to make such a big ss.
"Let’s go save them. Perfect, let’s test the Flying Skill."
He looked at the second gate and the high platform where the bishops gathered, smiling: "Carry everyone flying up, directly to the platform!"
Aleya imdiately prepared to cast the Flying Skill.
But they didn’t notice that at the mont the word "Flying Skill" was spoken.
The giants on either side of the church moved.
