Chonghui's first thought upon hearing the receptionist ntion "internal consistency reliability" was disbelief.

Although the basic application thod of scale developnt in "Psychological Statistics" was almost mastered by everyone in Bai Qinghua's research group.

But when it ca to the EAP scale, this was the first ti they were creating sothing from scratch.

Chonghui was confident that at the very least, a usable scale could be presented. On this point, he had faith.

However, as to how excellent the quality was—Chonghui was also aware of reality.

It's important to know that there are four levels of outcos for validating a scale's internal consistency reliability with Cronbach's alpha coefficient.

These are: "

Corresponding to: "Insufficient", "Acceptable", "Good", "Excellent".

Generally, as long as it reaches an "acceptable" level, the scale is fairly usable, enough for an undergraduate to use for a graduation thesis; a "good" level scale is already widely accepted and can be extended for others to use as a reference for group-level analysis.

But the current outco of the project group—the lowest in each dinsion was 0.77, with the overall coefficient soaring to 0.85!

This ans that the scale not only asures different specific problems clearly across various dinsions, but also contains reasonable associations between different dinsions' psychological issues, collectively forming a higher-order, comprehensively assessable concept of "ntal health status".

In other words, this scale is now seemingly a sustainable profitable product.

If the company undertakes another EAP project in the future, they can practically use this scale in its entirety; other EAP companies looking to work can also purchase this scale from Bai Qinghua's company for use.

Chonghui was a bit stupefied.

They beca an industry benchmark the first ti they made a scale?

Did the project group choose the wrong developnt direction? Are we actually more skilled in developing company-related scales?

Chonghui's expression turned peculiar: "Isn't this data... a little too perfect? When we were establishing the sample norms, the data didn't look that optimistic."

A scale capable of being introduced for use must have undergone a small-sample pilot analysis during its developnt stage.

The results back then differed considerably compared to now.

There's no such thing as a "worn-in athlete" for scales; if the results obtained during strictly controlled experintal pilots are worse than those when applied in society formally, there is basically a problem.

Chonghui was concerned that these young master's students might have been heavy-handed, modifying so data during the data analysis stage to make the results look better.

To speak bluntly, it's falsification.

This wouldn't bode well at all.

Chonghui's eyes turned stern; such a thing could not happen under his teacher's tutelage.

Just as this thought erged, he heard the receptionist saying, "It's because of Junior Brother Nan."

The receptionist's expression was one of amazent: "Initially, we roughly screened the questionnaires with the pre-developed software, at which point the effective recovery rate was still above 95%."

"But afterward, Junior Brother Nan gave us so numbers, saying these respondents had issues while filling out the questionnaires, and suggested we appropriately exclude them at the data analysis stage."

"We tried it, found it effective, and went ahead to delete more than a hundred invalid questionnaires; although the effective recovery rate then dropped, the internal consistency reliability significantly improved..."

Oh, that explains it.

Although he didn't know how Junior Brother Nan managed it, Chonghui's gaze relaxed once more.

All disciplines involving "people" are like this; any theory and corresponding outputs will be affected by the human elent, and there is no absolute objective standard.

You can't control "people" as you would experintal conditions like "temperature", "brightness", "humidity".

Research often follows the cases.

And now, since there was no data falsification, then—

Chonghui nodded: "Our scale is very well done!"

He raised his hand, signaling the receptionist to continue the report.

"The structural validity results are also quite good, with the factor loading of all items..."

"Cross-validation..."

"The cumulative variance contribution rate also..."

Chonghui listened, nodding continually; such impressive data didn't need any adjustnts, aning this stage could indeed be concluded.

He decided in his mind to report this good news to the teacher and senior sister later; the company has gained another profit point.

Afterward, Chonghui waved his hand to signal the receptionist to sit down, then stood up himself to start planning the next steps.

"We've wrapped up the survey implentation for the entire company workforce; before getting off work today, we need to write a report based on the data analysis results."

At this point, Chonghui turned his head towards the master's students: "Write a draft for first; then I'll modify it. If you don't know how to write it..."

Chonghui organized his wording, uttering two words: "Analyze 'pain points', understand?"

Everyone present couldn't help but chuckle upon hearing this.

"Moreover, so work can be carried out in sync, and preparations for the next stage can begin as well."

"Although we still lack a written report for now, we generally already know the outco. The report is for the boss, and when liaising with other departnts, our current results will suffice."

Saying this, Chonghui turned to Mo Kai: "Next, reach out to the directors and managers of each departnt to provide feedback on our current phase results, then select employee representatives from different positions in each departnt for in-depth interviews. Tell them it's to verify the survey data and identify departnt work challenges. Synch the interview results with us."
