Chapter 185: Big and Strong! Creating New Glory!

During the Calamity battle, Viktor stood motionless in place.

He quietly watched the incredibly fierce battle not far away, his heart seemingly undisturbed.

In truth, the 2 Calamities he had summoned were not the original Gulton and Druga.

They were rely manifestations of the Calamity magic power within him.

They were there to draw aggro for Viktor.

He remained in the corner, quietly watching the 3 colossal beasts and Dorakon locked in battle.

Although the void entity had taken heavy damage, as long as Viktor remained uninjured, it would not disappear.

Which ant that from the very beginning, Dorakon had been attacking the wrong target.

Viktor's objective, from start to finish, had only ever been one thing.

And that was—

A swift resolution.

This was the most effective way to deal with Dorakon's second phase.

Dorakon, within Storm's Verdict, would continuously absorb the wind storms inside the space and channel them entirely into boosting its own speed.

And this prolonged battle had already lasted close to a full day.

During that ti, Dorakon had absorbed a trendous quantity of wind elents.

Even the formidable defenses built by those terrifying tentacles could not withstand the powerful collisions driven by its staggering speed.

On top of that, the surrounding walls' Terrain Invincibility chanic would only last 24 hours.

Before long, the chanic would expire.

Dorakon would break free from this space and return to the world's skies.

At that point, Viktor would have not even the slimst chance of victory.

Before the day's ti was up, he had to finish off this world-tier Boss.

So he, too, needed ti.

By now, Dorakon's speed had grown ever more terrifying.

Within this extrely confined space, even while bound inside it, that white figure flashed like a beam of light at blinding speed.

Its silhouette darted ceaselessly back and forth within the space, accompanied by burst after burst of sonic booms.

That rapidly flickering figure swept past Druga again and again, leaving streak after streak of white wounds across that massive green body.

Violent storms continuously ford into vortices, completely immobilizing Druga's body.

A faint blue light stirred in Viktor's eyes, and within Weija's gaze, the sa unusual color lit up in unison.

"However, I am also ready."

Weija, who had regained so power after gathering a great number of followers.

She was his only trump card against the Calamity of Wind!

Before the eyes of everyone present, Viktor finally moved.

He slowly raised his staff, and one after another, obscure incantations poured from his lips.

"【Those who love not the law of the Lord, yet plant the world tree beside the sky-flooding rivers】"

"【The gods break free from the shackles of man, and heavenly colors shall descend upon the boundless murk—】"

Accompanied by the complex and unfamiliar chanted words, a massive Formation began to take shape behind Viktor.

Several circular rings began to rotate against one another, white luminescence and countless runes spreading outward, as a pristine white figure slowly erged from the faintly glowing, transparent water.

One hand braced against an enormous tree; the other seed to hold up a rigid iron chain. The great tree slowly tilted toward the chain, which in an instant wound itself around every branch, as though supporting it, suspending the half-fallen tree in midair.

Those flawless eyes slowly lifted their lids, and a dim radiance gradually surfaced.

【War Magic: Compassion Bound to the World of Man】

Wave after wave of overwhelming magic power surged and crashed against the confined space.

White light gradually consud everything, and the earth itself seed to tremble—as though pierced by sothing of incomprehensible purity—and twisted in wild convulsions.

But before the magic could be released, Viktor raised his staff and began a new round of chanting.

"【Stardust suspended in the cosmos, it will answer the tranquil calling】"

"【Souls wandering in the void, pray in whispers to redeem all things】"

Song-like silver dust gradually drifted down from overhead, slowly gathering around Viktor.

As though assembling itself into a piece of music in midair, it plucked the opening notes of an otherworldly overture.

【War Magic: Stellar Whisper】

More and more spells began to amass within the confined space, the dense aura wrapping around Viktor layer upon layer.

The Formations likewise gathered beside Viktor, unreleased.

The Adventurers watched Viktor, feeling that terrifyingly vast magic power reverberate and flood the entire expanse of land.

"He... what in the world is he doing?!"

Then ca the 3rd, the 4th, the 5th...

Countless War Magics continued to stack, yet none of them detonated.

【Silver Dust Buried Beneath the World Tree】

【Summoning of a Grieving Soul】

【The Weeping at the Place Where Streams Flow Backward】

Surge after surge of fierce, far-reaching magic power steadily converged as the overwhelming aura climbed wildly.

The elderly Mage seated in the spectators' area suddenly shuddered, as though he had realized sothing.

Could it be—he is about to...

The surrounding Adventurers were still bewildered, their eyes drifting toward the Mage.

They too had felt the terrifying presence continuing to rise, and could not help but suppress the shock in their chests as they turned to ask him:

"Wolt, do you know sothing?"

The Mage stroked his slender beard, his eyes flickering with stunned light:

"You should know that within the realm of magic, there exists a kind of magic whose area and power surpasses ordinary magic by several tis—or even dozens of tis."

"This kind of magic is known as—War Magic."

War Magic, by its very nature, required enormous quantities of magic power as its foundation before it could be unleashed.

Generally speaking, War Magic required large numbers of Mages working in concert.

After all, it required at minimum 10 or more spells of the sa tier working in synchronized frequency before they could be assembled into that devastating form of magic.

The Adventurers listened to the explanation, nodding in half-comprehension.

The Mage watched the massive Formations continuing to erupt around Viktor's body and went on:

"However, even War Magic is divided into tiers."

War Magic composed of 4th-tier magic power was 4th-tier War Magic.

By the sa logic, War Magic led by the magic power of a 3rd-tier Mage was 3rd-tier War Magic.

Yet when Mages used War Magic together, they rarely made a point of specifying the tier.

Because even at the 3rd tier, given enough ti, enough Mages, and sufficient magic power—

Even 4th-tier War Magic might struggle to withstand it.

Because War Magic, by its very nature, placed emphasis on the word "war."

In battle, the wider the area of effect and the higher the damage, the greater the potential to turn the tide.

But...

"The man we are watching right now."

"Every single spell he is chanting has reached the level of War Magic in terms of magic power."

"And moreover... he is a 4th-tier Mage."

The mont those words landed, every Adventurer present froze.

Every concealed spell was War Magic?

Where was all that magic power coming from?

And more importantly...

What was he preparing so many War Magics for?

The Mage slowly raised his head and looked up at the sky—at the majestic, sky-eclipsing divine dragon.

In his eyes: grief.

"Yes..."

"10 spells of the sa tier can be combined into a powerful War Magic."

"So then—what could 10 War Magics of the sa tier combine into?"

No one could give them the answer.

But they could experience it firsthand, with their own eyes.

The breathtaking scene unfolding before them—one capable of overturning the entire world of Mages.

Viktor's body began to tremble faintly. The enormous ring, forged from 10 War Magics, appeared behind his back.

Hmm—Hmm—Hmm—

The magic power within the space began to expand wildly as a profound resonance rang out, sharp and clear.

The air itself seed dense enough to wring the overflowing magic power from it like water from a cloth.

The space grew strangely distorted, twisting and intertwining—the magic power on the verge of losing all control.

That terrifying pressure bore down and crushed everything in the surrounding area beneath it.

Dorakon finally sensed the crisis, but before this mont, it had been relentlessly harassed by the 3 powerful creatures Viktor had summoned and had no ti to spare any attention for Viktor.

As a result, it had ultimately overlooked the human whose presence seed the faintest and most negligible of all.

And the power that was now on the verge of erupting from that human.

Like that of a divine being—

Dorakon finally rembered to attack Viktor. Its twin eyes blazed with golden light as the surrounding storms began to gather, and its terrifying speed erupted in an instant.

But in the very next second, massive trees suddenly burst from the blood-flesh earth in an attempt to shatter the barrier, cutting off Dorakon's line of attack.

A vast dense forest erupted from the ground all at once, blocking every trace of wind from getting through.

【Myriad Phenona of Heaven and Earth】

The instant that onslaught was intercepted, Dorakon threw back its head and let out a furious roar.

Then, without warning, a surge of fla ignited from within the trees and began spreading outward.

Violent pillars of fire erupted in rapid succession across the ground, setting the entire forest ablaze.

The fire columns climbed to great heights, inflicting searing agony upon Dorakon.

【Blazing Severance—Wrath of Extinction】

The colossal entity, its body already cracked and bleeding, had not forgotten its purpose.

Every cavity on its face converged toward the center, and severed tentacles threaded their way inward through the openings.

Exposed within was a wide-open eyeball, gathering golden radiance.

As though the very next second it would tear straight through the storm barrier encasing Dorakon's surface.

【Agonized Shriek】

In this mont, all 3 colossal beasts fully unleashed every last ounce of their power, buying Viktor the final fragnt of ti he needed.

The Calamity of Wind had nowhere to flee. It darted in every direction, yet could not escape the encirclent of green.

It could not stop the fire from latching on, nor resist the golden pillar that seed to dissolve all things.

And then, high above, the several rotating rings of silver magic finally rged into one.

In this mont, that vast and pristine figure was blanketed in constellations and translucent souls.

Its body was wound with rivers flowing upward toward the sky, both hands cradling a tree suspended by chains.

Souls seed to continuously leap from the rivers above, wailing as they spiraled in loops of white.

Behind that silver human form, a sky blazing with white light appeared, slowly eclipsing the originally violet earth.

A radiant azure sky rained sacred light down upon the land, and warm, gentle auras gradually enveloped every person present.

Soothing song and clear, continuous prayers rang out without ceasing, as though guiding the wandering spirits struggling within the rivers.

The white, sacred giant opened its eyes, and within those pupils seed countless worlds revolving without end.

Blazing beams of light erupted, tearing through everything beneath this fractured space.

In the final notes of Viktor's chant,

A force of judgnt—as though handed down by a divine reckoning—descended clearly upon this mortal land.

Hmm—

Like compassion itself.

Illuminating that entire radiant, yet utterly shattered, world.
