Chapter 186: Never Forget Why You Started!

Under the intense blazing light, the white gradually crumbled apart.

The deep purple sky was as though pierced through by a sharp beam of light, a gaping hole torn open within it.

Countless silver dust particles transford into 2 spiraling tornadoes, churning and surging throughout the entire space, as though innurable shooting stars had completely pierced through everything.

Sound was compressed into sothing increasingly faint beneath the imnse pressure, until the white light bursting forth from those 2 eyes completely blanketed everything.

The boundless earth was forcibly draped in a shroud known as silence.

2 beams of white light violently scorched the earth that kept ceaselessly healing itself—the rate at which flesh knit back together could not even keep pace with the bizarre heat generated by that terrifying pressure.

At this point, all anyone could see was that colossal figure of pure white, cradling that enormous white tree suspended in mid-air above its raised hands—as heavy chains drove themselves deep into the ground with a thunderous crash.

Wave after wave of dazzling phantom souls seed to have been completely liberated.

They poured out from that reversed, shattered river in a frantic rush, drifting wildly toward the fractured void sky above.

***

Adventurers' Capital. Second Battle Line.

The First Prince paced back and forth inside the room, biting his lip, brow deeply furrowed, anxiously waiting for so kind of news.

Before long, an officer burst through the door without even knocking, legs trembling as he forced himself inside.

The lips on his ashen face quivered uncontrollably. The officer swallowed a mouthful of saliva, then imdiately launched into his report:

"F-First Prince, ergency situation—you absolutely must co outside and see this……"

The First Prince cast one glance at the officer, whose fear was plain to see, then hurried out of the room and took his place atop the high tower, gazing into the distance.

In short order, he understood the reason for the officer's terror.

The mont his eyes turned toward the horizon, it was as though he were witnessing a sight his entire life had not prepared him for.

That violet-purple Magical Creature Rift had grown markedly more unstable—twisting relentlessly, expanding without cease.

A force that seed no longer capable of being contained was on the verge of pouring out from within it.

At the sight of this, the First Prince's expression beca profoundly grave, a few beads of sweat dripping from his brow.

Could it be—that within this Magical Creature Rift, so terrifying magical creature was about to co surging out?

Like that dragon capable of flight without wings—was it about to appear?

He swept a hand behind him and issued his command in a sharp, commanding voice:

"All forces—activate every weapon on the Second Battle Line and train them simultaneously on the Magical Creature Rift!"

"Ensure all fire is directed at the rift the mont the order is given!"

Hearing those resolute words from the First Prince, the officer felt as though a shot of adrenaline had been injected into his chest—the trembling that had gripped his body monts ago steadied completely.

"Yes, sir!"

He turned around and was about to head down to relay the order—but in the very instant he turned his back.

All of a sudden, a beam of white light exploded skyward from behind him, seemingly blanketing the entire world in its brilliance.

The officer snapped his head back around.

And beheld the single most unforgettable scene of his entire life.

Scattered silver dust particles drifted slowly through the air, high-speed starlight showering across the entire Second Battle Line.

That sky-piercing white light seed to have severed a river of stars in two, as innurable wisps of phantom mist spiraled above the entire city—above the entire expanse of earth.

Fierce waves of dust surged a hundred ters high. The sky turned overcast, as though smothered by even denser stormclouds, plunging everything into a haze of yellow chaos.

The trendous white Magic Power transford entirely into a hazy wall of force that shot straight into the heavens, piercing open a hole through the oppressive stormclouds—a gap through which the sky's light filtered down—as though it ant to strike down the sun that had been hidden away.

The powerful force surging high above continued to detonate outward in every direction, as though it were beginning to shatter everything in its path. The stormclouds broke apart in fragnts, and were soon dispersed completely.

In the mont that silver giant tree toppled and fell, the hundred-ter waves of dust settled with a strangely serene grace, piling into towering mounds of dust one after another.

The world in that sudden flash of brilliance seed to have been completely coated in a layer of glistening droplets.

Sunlight refracted endlessly across the water droplets scattered everywhere—each one like a divine tear.

Shafts of colored light flickered into being one by one, like a salvation born of despair on the eve of the apocalypse.

It began to rain……

The soldiers standing along the front line felt the cool droplets striking their skin, and went sowhat dazed.

They widened their eyes. Their mouths fell open. Yet not a single sound could leave their throats.

Stunned as they were, all they could do was remain speechless, feeling the imnsity of that force.

All they could do was quietly take in this impossibly breathtaking scene.

The officer stared at the rain falling ceaselessly and was naturally left rooted in place as well, colored light dancing in the depths of his eyes, unable even to raise a hand.

This force……

Was like a salvation brought down by a divine being.

The First Prince stood atop the high tower, feeling the dull impact of rain droplets striking his golden armor, his eyes trembling without end.

The rain had thoroughly soaked through his long silver-white hair, glistening trails of water flowing down along the contours of his face.

He slowly tilted his head back, allowing more rain droplets to batter against his face.

In this mont, the expression in his eyes beca profoundly calm.

No matter who it was—upon witnessing a sight like this, akin to a nuclear detonation, and yet even more staggering than that—

Within their hearts, nothing would remain but this kind of stillness.

The area surrounding the enormous Magical Creature Rift seed to have been completely smoothed flat by the trendous shockwave.

Even the jagged rocky walls that had been there before had dissolved entirely.

Only a violet-purple fissure remained, still ceaselessly venting the white Magic Power that had not yet dissipated.

This was a power……beyond the human.

The First Prince fell silent.

He let the rain soak his face and stream down, making it impossible to distinguish sweat from rainwater.

***

The enormous Arena had already been completely swallowed up, and the Terrain Invincibility duration had just barely run its course—tid precisely to the mont the battle ended.

That churning purple sky, too, had now vanished without a trace.

The adventurers could only sense that after an intense flash of white light swept past, everything around them had changed entirely.

If before, that sea of churning color had resembled a canvas with paint splattered across it, then now……

It was as though soone had pulled down a curtain bleached completely white—the deep purple had been forcibly erased.

As the white radiance gradually faded, a blue sky appeared within the Magical Creature Rift.

As though it had been forcibly remade—a few wisps of pristine white cloud drifted across the clear blue sky above.

Glistening rain droplets fell slowly across this stretch of earth as well, and wherever they landed, the ground would swiftly sprout life.

Seedlings broke through the soil, and with each falling droplet, the saplings grew with the rapid vitality of spring bamboo after rain.

Before long, they would shoot upward in a burst of growth, becoming towering trees that soared into the sky.

Sunlight broke through the cloud layer and fell upon this newly revived earth—like shafts of holy light scattering slowly in compassion.

Taking in a scene that could no longer be explained by any rational understanding, the gathered adventurers collapsed to the ground without being able to help themselves.

One by one, they extended a hand, feeling the rain pour down onto their palms.

Feeling the world left behind after this boundless Magic Power had dispersed.

……Could it actually rain inside the Abyss?

The 3 great beasts that had surrounded Viktor gradually dissolved beneath the shining sunlight, dissipating into fragnts of Magic Power that vanished into the air.

After the majority of their bodies disappeared, the Cores of Origin of the 2 Calamities returned to emit their glow once more—settling back onto Viktor's Coat.

The terrifying void entity seed deeply afraid of this clear and radiant sunlight, hurriedly dragging its heavily injured body toward the gate of the void—then slamming it shut behind itself with a resounding force.

The entire world, at last, beca incomparably still.

Dorakon's enormous body lay sprawled across the ground, the white scales that had covered it stripped of their sacred purity—reverting to sothing deep and dark once more.

Those black scales were now utterly shattered, a great many of them already cracked halfway through.

The great dragon lay upon the earth, body rising and falling slowly, on the verge of death.

That final Super-Tier Magic had wiped out Dorakon's last bar of HP.

And of course, it had also wiped out Viktor's MP bar.

Viktor stood before its dragon head with cold indifference, looking down at this Calamity of Wind that had been so suprely arrogant monts before.

【Viktor Clavena】

Lv43→Lv45

HP: 23000/23000

MP: 20/999999

Defeating the Calamity of Wind had granted Viktor an enormous amount of Experience Points, causing his Experience to skyrocket—2 levels gained in an instant.

For soone like Viktor, this kind of behavior of defeating a Boss while severely underleveled—the amount of Experience the ga granted to players in such scenarios was extrely substantial.

And in this instance, Viktor had attempted sothing new.

Unlike his battles against the Calamities of Fire and Wood, he had barely used any particularly clever techniques.

He had only employed a asure of footwork and body movent to evade Dorakon's attacks.

What had truly defeated Dorakon was the terrain that had trapped it from all sides.

And the Super-Tier Magic unleashed after a preparation period that had built up for a full day.

Within the ga, this referred specifically to those powerful abilities that transcended the tier system entirely.

Their power was no longer limited to sheer destructive force alone.

They had even surpassed the very category of what magic was.

No matter how powerful a Mage might be, they would never be capable of releasing a magical attack of such terrifying magnitude entirely on their own.

Any Super-Tier Magic of formidable power required the combination of nurous powerful War Magic spells.

And not rely a simple combination.

It required ensuring that those War Magic spells—each no less devastating than a nuclear warhead—would not discharge prematurely, while also guaranteeing that all the Magic was synchronized to a unified timing.

This was an extraordinarily difficult undertaking.

It demanded both Magic Power as the foundation, and execution at the absolute limit of one's capabilities.

Fortunately, Viktor possessed both.

With Weija's power, combined with his own micro-managent and his incomparable familiarity with every Skill—

Only by having both could a single person achieve perfect synchronization of multiple War Magic spells.

Though by the end, even the MP Weija had provided was completely spent.

With Super-Tier Magic this devastatingly powerful—it would be best to use it as sparingly as possible in the future.

When it ca to actual combat, releasing a few War Magic spells in the ordinary way was still more ti and effort efficient—even if the raw destructive output was sowhat lacking by comparison.

anwhile, Dorakon—having lost the last sliver of its HP—had its body gradually dissolve into fading wind, dissipating away.

A white current of air burst outward abruptly, stirring up one final gale.

Once that body had fully vanished, the storm too began to subside.

Calamities do not die—even reduced to this state, they simply continue to exist in the world in another form.

Given enough ti, it would still revive once more at so location where storms run powerful and fierce.

And at the sa mont Dorakon vanished.

A mass of pure white energy began to float slowly upward through the air.

That was the Core of Origin of the Calamity of Wind—Dorakon.

Viktor extended his hand, and the Core of Origin of the Calamity of Wind drifted toward him slowly, as though it carried so form of awareness.

Afterward, it attached itself to Viktor's Coat.

With this, he had now collected 3 Calamity Cores of Origin.

Shhhk—the Coat that had been pitch black monts before shifted now to pristine white.

That cloud-white color draped over Viktor's body, making him resemble a mysterious envoy descending from the high skies.

Viktor looked at the Coat on his own body, his expression unhurried, murmuring to himself in a flat tone:

"Compared to white, I still prefer black."

Before long, the cloud-white color gradually settled and quieted, once again swallowed by ink-dark black.

Viktor looked at the place where the Calamity of Wind had vanished, narrowing his eyes.

A girl with a full head of golden hair was quietly lying on the ground.

Eyes closed, utterly still—like a noble princess from a fairy tale who had been sleeping all along, waiting for a prince to wake her.
