rcenaries' side.

When Chen Wen caught up with them, there were only five of them left.

One rcenary who was severely injured was already gone.

Chen Wen shivered slightly.

He didn't know if that rcenary was left behind or abandoned by the others.

But he knew that in such weather, the rcenary's probability of survival was extrely low.

It could even be declared as a premature sentence of death.

The remaining five were not in a good state either.

One of them staggered around and even unzipped his jacket, looking uncomfortably hot.

But Chen Wen recognized that this person was in late-stage hypothermia.

He had already lost the ability to sense temperature.

As Chen Wen was thinking this, the soldier stumbled a few steps before suddenly collapsing onto the ground.

A rcenary nearby reached out to help.

But he saw that his friend's face revealed an expression of enjoynt.

He laughed bizarrely, his voice hoarse like a broken bellows.

He kept tearing at his clothes, exposing his skin.

This eerie scene made the rcenary shudder and he quickly let go.

The laughing rcenary relaxed his body after a few breaths.

His pupils gradually lost focus.

"It's hypothermia."

One of the rcenaries said.

He glanced at the white captain: "Captain, we can't go on anymore, our bodies are getting to the point of not being able to withstand this."

But the white captain did not respond to him.

The rcenary instinctively reached out, only to see the white captain's face was bluish-purple.

Even so parts of the skin had turned blue.

It's over!

Hypothermia again!

The rcenary released his hand, and the white captain slumped to the ground.

In his dying monts, it seed he rembered sothing.

The white captain looked towards the sled full of gold and showed a terrified expression.

"Ho! Ho!"

After a couple of frantic breaths, the white captain's body tilted, collapsing onto the snow.

"What should we do? Now there are only three of us left."

A rcenary looked at the suddenly dead companions, terror on his face.

The rcenary who knew about hypothermia was full of regret.

"We should have stayed at the camp; walking in the snow in such cold weather is a suicidal move!"

"Fortify the camp, gather around the bonfire and warmth, maybe then we'd have a chance to survive."

He sighed, looking at the sled filled with treasure.

"Set up camp here, and let's hope we make it until dawn."

But after daybreak, none of the three rcenaries stood up again.

They only cared about taking away all the treasure and food, but forgot to take enough firewood.

When the bonfire went out in the deep night, the only path left for them was death.

Thus, aside from the rcenaries left at the program camp, all those who fled were wiped out.

Chen Wen stepped on the snow and arrived at the camp.

"I really... don't know how to describe this journey."

Chen Wen holding a lynx, with the Golden Eagle and Snowy Owl standing on two wings.

The Snowy Owl looked coldly at the dead rcenaries, though it lacked the ability to personally kill these people, it gladly watched them die in the vast snow.

"You see your enemies dead, what are you planning to do next?"

Chen Wen looked at the Snowy Owl.

The Snowy Owl hesitated for a mont, looking at the white snow of Yukon, then at Chen Wen and the Golden Eagle.

After a brief hesitation.

The Snowy Owl said: "I plan to completely join you."

Although Chen Wen didn't directly help it with revenge, it understood that Chen Wen was crucial to the rcenaries' fate.

If he hadn't summoned the wolf pack, the rcenaries wouldn't have t such an end.

But the Snowy Owl had no sympathy for its enemies.

It only regretted not being able to kill the black captain personally.

Chen Wen glanced at the Snowy Owl, nodded and said, "Alright, join , I'll take you away from this sorrowful place and give you a new ho."

Having said that, Chen Wen looked at the treasure before him.

With complex emotions, Chen Wen walked to the box.

The box was open.

He casually opened the topmost box, and the shimring gold bars appeared in front of Chen Wen.

He picked up two gold bars and clanged them together.

The sound was deep, should be genuine.

Chen Wen put the gold bars back and took a deep breath: "This is the final treasure, but it seems we need to find a temporary place to hide it, we can't take so much with us now."

Hearing this, the Golden Eagle quickly said: "Hide it? Where? On a tree?"

Chen Wen shook his head.

The trees definitely wouldn't work.

He said, "See if there are any ownerless caves around, if we really can't find one, we can hide them in the cave we found yesterday."

Upon hearing this, the Golden Eagle imdiately set out to look for a cave for Chen Wen.

And like Chen Wen, the Snowy Owl also got busy looking for a cave.

...

In the camp.

With the snow stopping, a helicopter arrived here.

The helicopter brought enough supplies and so dicine.

During these days, many staff mbers fell sick, and those leftover rcenaries also needed treatnt.

Although these rcenaries belonged to Pat, Belmont still sent a dical team to administer rescue.

However, only five rcenaries remained, others either died due to excessive bleeding or due to fever from infection.

Those critically injured rcenaries were practically beyond saving in the current situation.

Jiao had already moved the critically injured rcenaries to the outer tents a few days ago.

Essentially waiting for their deaths.

Jiao, as the camp leader, was reporting the situation to the newly arrived Dio.

"So everyone is accounted for except Chen Wen, who is missing?"

Dio asked, a bit puzzled: "Why would he want to escape when it's so safe here?"

Jiao shrugged: "I'm not sure either, I even think Ludwig would run away before Chen Wen does; he was doing pretty well at the camp, neither our people nor the rcenaries ever troubled him."

"Perhaps he was too worried?"

Dio said, voicing his helplessness: "But regardless, I'm leaving the camp these days to look for him. Can you manage the camp?"

"Of course."

Jiao said: "But how do we handle Ludwig, Yang Feng, and Jenny? Any instructions from the gentleman?"

"For Ludwig, the gentleman doesn't want to see him anymore, but values past relationships, so when we return, just give him so money and send him on his way."

Dio spoke about Belmont's decision regarding the three: "Yang Feng and Jenny, the gentleman will et them personally to inquire about Pat's matter."

"The gentleman t with the Pri Minister and plans to completely topple Pat, make him pay for his actions this ti!"

Saying this, Dio's eyes glead with dangerous light: "As long as Pat loses his official position, the gentleman has ten thousand ways to make his family collapse."

Jiao nodded, admiration flickering in his eyes: "Of course, he has those thods."

After a brief conversation.

Dio took his leave and began searching for Chen Wen around with the helicopter.

They wrote ssages on so white sheets from the camp, intending to scatter them across the forest, letting Chen Wen know that the rcenaries had been driven away.

Simultaneously, while searching for Chen Wen, they also tracked the traces of the rcenaries.
