Of course, whether he went to see it or not, Scarlett hadn’t paid attention.

His breath lightly brushed her ear, tickling like a feather.
He laughed softly in her ear, his voice extrely low, only she and he could hear, as he teased, "Scarlett, did you hear any strange noises?"

Scarlett’s face suddenly burned, heat emanating from her pores and lingering on the surface of her skin, making her face even redder.
She felt Matthew was doing it on purpose!
The noise wasn’t small. How could she not hear it unless her hearing was failing!
He knew she heard it, yet he still leaned over to ask—wasn’t that intentional?
This shaless rogue, was he trying to tease her again?
Scarlett pretended to be very puzzled, blinked, and curiously asked, "What noise? I’ve been watching the movie, didn’t hear anything strange."
As she said this, her eyes flickered twice, and the expression on her face seed a bit unnatural.
Luckily, the dim lighting made her unnatural expression less obvious.
"You didn’t hear?" Matthew Saxon, seemingly surprised, chuckled lightly again, leaned closer, and lowered his voice further, "Listen more carefully. Are you sure you really didn’t hear?"
"Ahem... I didn’t, didn’t hear it. I really didn’t hear." Sotis, lying with eyes wide open isn’t that easy, especially when the truth is right before you.
As Scarlett repeatedly claid she didn’t hear, suddenly, the noise next door grew even louder.
At first, that couple might have been a bit restrained, but now they truly seed to treat Cinemapolis like their own ho.
The man’s voice was excited, becoming increasingly loud.
"Little Sprite, you cunning Little Sprite, you’re driving crazy. Watch how I’ll deal with you!"
"You started the fire, now you need to put it out. Don’t expect to let you off easily."
"How’s it, sweetie? Are you happy with what you see?"
Scarlett: "..."
Matthew Saxon: "Scarlett, are you sure you really didn’t hear anything, hmm?"
"I, I..." Scarlett still wanted to persist in lying, but she hadn’t trained herself well enough to be thick-skinned. After a long pause, she couldn’t bring herself to say ’I didn’t hear.’
She glared at Matthew, biting her lip, sowhat flustered and annoyed, "Okay, I heard it, Matthew Saxon, I heard it clearly. Are you satisfied now?"
Matthew Saxon curled his lips into a smile and leisurely said, "Scarlett, do you know what they’re doing? No wonder couples like to go on dates at the movies, I was wondering what the appeal of movies was. Turns out that’s it."
A playful, low laugh paused for a few seconds, and with a hint of mischief, he continued, "Seems watching movies is interesting after all. I’ll have to make more ti to accompany you in the future."
