Scarlett Yates held the pen in her hand, lowered her head, and stared at the spot where she was supposed to sign for a few seconds before slowly looking up at him.
Matthew Saxon asked again, "Does your hand hurt? If you can’t sign, we can co back tomorrow."
She had already co, the pen was in her hand, and it was a matter that could be settled with just a few words. How could Scarlett wait until tomorrow to do it?
"I’m fine, it’s just signing a na, no need to co back tomorrow." After saying this, she lowered her eyes and continued to write.
She wrote slowly, one stroke at a ti, her expression both serious and devout, as if she were doing sothing incredibly sacred.
In Scarlett’s heart, marriage was indeed a sacred thing, and no matter which step it was, she never intended to be careless about it.
After finishing the last stroke, she suddenly felt a sense of myriad emotions welling up inside her.
She dropped the pen, looked up at Matthew Saxon, and softly called out to him, "Matthew Saxon..."
Matthew’s eyes were deeply focused on her, and he softly replied, "Hmm?"
Scarlett sniffled and said, "If I cry later, will it be embarrassing?"
Matthew’s slender Peach Blossom Eyes overflowed with a gentle smile, "No, Scarlett Yates looks very cute when she cries."
"Really?" Scarlett blinked, her eyes a bit red.
"Yes, like a little white rabbit."
"But didn’t you say I was like a wildcat..."
"When a wildcat retracts its claws, it becos like a little white rabbit."
"But being a little white rabbit makes it easy to get bullied."
"No one dares to bully the little white rabbit I take care of."
"Blowing your own horn, your grandfather bullies ."
"That’s why we’re getting back at him now. Once he knows we’re married, he’ll be furious. See, I’m standing up for you."
"..."
Both parties signed the application form, took their identification photos, submitted the photos and various docunts, and soon, the marriage certificate was issued.
"Mr. Saxon, Miss Yates, congratulations to you both. Wishing you a lifeti of happiness and prosperity," the staff said, handing the red booklet to the couple with a smile, her eyes brimming with a bit of envy as she looked at Scarlett.
The rumors that had been swirling around finally ca to a close.

Which woman could help but envy her?
The Saxon Family, such a prestigious family, had been beyond the reach of many won. It was like a dream castle in the eyes of won fantasizing about being Cinderella.
For those outside this castle, they could only imagine it, gaze at it, without even a step through the main gate.

The other female staff mbers were also filled with envy, so of them even being fans of Matthew Saxon. Though they outwardly smiled and offered their blessings at the marriage of their idol, their hearts had already shattered like glass.
Amidst the envious, jealous, and hateful gazes and voices of blessings, Scarlett Yates, holding the slightly warm red booklet, was dazedly embraced by Matthew Saxon as they left.
As they exited the Civil Affairs Bureau, the cold wind blew across Scarlett’s expressionless face.
