"Not bad, it seems like they’re all getting used to refining the killing intent." Lin Fan said as he watched over the disciples of the Love Sect in the killing intent field they had created.

The way that he ca to find Lin Fan seed to show that whatever he wanted to talk to Lin Fan about was important. At the sa ti, it seed that this wasn’t sothing that was that simple as there was a concerned look on his face.
When Lin Fan took the ssage, he couldn’t help being confused.
He looked up at Senior Brother Ying, but Senior Brother Ying said with a shake of his head, "I don’t know why they would be sending sothing like this all of a sudden either. We’ve never had any contact with them before."
Lin Fan looked back down at the letter in his hand with a confused look.
That was because this was a letter that was addressed to the sect master of the Love Sect. This was a letter that ca from a sect that was known as the Golden Gate Sect, a sect that Lin Fan had never heard of before.
But the one thing that confused him the most about this letter was the fact that it was asking him to host a tournant.
Lin Fan just couldn’t understand why this Golden Gate Sect would suddenly ask this of him and the Love Sect.
It wasn’t as if there was anything for this Golden Gate Sect to gain from this.
The strangest thing of all was the fact that it was done with courtesy. It wasn’t an act that was done to look down on the Love Sect, but rather it was a very respectful letter that was sent requesting this.
The more that he read it, the more confused that Lin Fan was about what the Golden Gate Sect’s intentions were.
While this was happening, there was soone that suddenly walked over.
There were few people that could approach Lin Fan without him noticing them, or at least among the people that he was familiar with. So that was why it was strange that this person suddenly appeared.
After all, this person should have been heading back to the Heavenly Demon Sect with the items that he had submitted to hand over to the leaders of the Heavenly Demon Sect. There was no reason that she should have co back all the way here.
However, Ye Qing Huan was there.
"You seem confused about what their intentions are."
Ye Qing Huan suddenly said from behind Lin Fan which pulled him out of his thoughts and surprised him.
Of course, the one thing that surprised him the most was the fact that Ye Qing Huan was here.
"What are you doing here?" Lin Fan slowly asked in a dazed voice.
Ye Qing Huan just pointed at the letter with a smile on her face before saying, "I knew that they would be making their move, so I ca back to help." Then after a pause, she added, "Of course, I already handed over the things that you’ve given back to the sect, so there’s no need to worry about that."
It wasn’t that Lin Fan was worried about that since he trusted Ye Qing Huan to know what to do.
That still didn’t explain what she was here for...or at least it didn’t since he didn’t understand what she ant by them making their move.
After all, he had no idea who she was referring to.
Ye Qing Huan could already guess that based on the confused look that Lin Fan had, so she just said, "It’s the core disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect. You’ve attracted their attention with the Blood Sect’s legacies, so it’s only natural that they would make their move."
Lin Fan couldn’t help knitting his brows when he heard this.
He had already heard about this from Ye Qing Huan and the two leaders of the squads under him, so he knew that the core disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect would be coming.
It was just that he couldn’t understand how this Golden Gate Sect was related to this.
Ye Qing Huan explained in the end, "Just like how this Love Sect and the Mu Empire was given to you as your territory, it’s only natural that the other core disciples would also receive their own territory."

"So you’re saying that their request for the Love Sect to hold a tournant is their way of moving around secretly?" Lin Fan was still a bit confused as he asked this question.
With a nod, Ye Qing Huan said, "These sects are under them, but they are still normal sects that function on their own. If a tournant was held and they were invited, it is only natural that they would bring their disciples to participate in the tournant as long as the other side was distinguished enough. The current Love Sect would fit this category."
"Then they’re free to sneak around with those sects if they were to co to our Mu Empire for this tournant." Lin Fan said after she finished what she was saying.
With a smile and a nod, Ye Qing Huan said, "That’s right." Then she further explained, "Even if they allow others to find information about them, it isn’t as if they would let those people know their exact location since that would be dangerous. As such, they are still able to move around secretly if they want."
"Just like you." Lin Fan said with a faint smile.
Ye Qing Huan looked back at him with the sa smile.
Ye Qing Huan was one of the core disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect after all and she ca to the Mu Empire quite often. If others were to know about this, there was no doubt that they would have thought that there was sothing special about the Mu Empire.
But no one seed to care about the Mu Empire, which ant that no one knew that she had co here other than a few people from the Heavenly Demon Sect.
It would be the sa for the other core disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect.
"But will they have ill intentions while they are here?" Lin Fan asked in a concerned voice.
Ye Qing Huan didn’t hesitate to shake her head before pointing at the letter to say, "If they had ill intentions, then they never would have sent this letter in the first place. It’s clear that they are trying to get sothing out of this place, so it isn’t as if they would co with ill intentions."
"Sothing related to the Blood Sect?" Lin Fan asked.
"That’s right. Even if you are a new core disciple, it isn’t as if there’s anything that they can get from you that would be on the sa level as the legacy of the Blood Sect. So to be blunt, they just simply aren’t interested in you at all." Ye Qing Huan said with a smile that filled Lin Fan’s heart with bitterness.
Even if he knew that this was the case, for Ye Qing Huan to say it this bluntly...
Lin Fan couldn’t help feeling that a part of his heart was shattering.
However, there was sothing else that Lin Fan had to ask.
"Since they’re interested in the Blood Sect, it won’t just be a single core disciple that cos. With this tournant, there will be different sects that will join in and there will be different core disciples that co to the Mu Empire. When that ti cos, what if they break out in a fight over the things left by the Blood Sect?"
Ye Qing Huan looked at Lin Fan with a look of praise when she heard this before saying with a confident look, "That’s the reason that I ca. Since the higher ups already know about the matter of the Blood Sect, it’s only natural that they would have so opinions on it. There are those that believe that this should be a fair competition..."
Lin Fan couldn’t help knitting his brows when her voice just trailed off like this.
"But the majority don’t think that this is the case and don’t believe that we should go too far on this matter. That’s why I’ve been sent with a certain letter for all the core disciples. You can just leave these things to ."
