"Sect master, are you sure about this?" Senior Brother Ying asked Lin Fan this question, but it was already a bit too late to be asking this.
After all, the invitations had already been sent and the other sects were already on their way.
Even if he were to ask sothing like this now, it wasn’t as if the Love Sect would be able to do anything since all of the other sects were coming.
Since it was the Love Sect that was hosting this tournant, it actually turned into quite the big deal. After all, the Love Sect was the current number one sect in the Mu Empire and a large player in the Mu Empire’s cultivation world.
If they were to hold a tournant, it was only natural that there would be many sects that would want a place in that tournant. So there was quite a bit of pressure from inside of the Mu Empire from those sects.
It wasn’t as if the Love Sect could really do anything since these were sects that just wanted a spot in this tournant.
It wasn’t as if the Love Sect had anything to lose from giving them a spot.
As such, they invited a few of the sects that had so reputation in the Mu Empire.
It was easy to invite everyone, but this wasn’t an event that Lin Fan wanted that many people to attend. Or at least he didn’t want too many participants from the Mu Empire to attend.
This was supposed to be a cover for letting those core disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect co to the Love Sect, so it wasn’t as if the results of the tournant were that important.
It was more important to have fewer people around so that they didn’t attract too much attention.
It was just too bad that this was impossible in the first place since the Love Sect’s reputation was just too much in the first place. Even if they wanted to keep this a small event, it wasn’t as if the other sects would let that happen.
So in the end, it turned into a rather large event.
Ye Qing Huan said that it was fine since it ant that there was more cover, but Senior Brother Ying and the others were naturally worried.
They were worried that sothing would happen to the Love Sect because of this.
This was an event that involved sects across many different countries after all.
Lin Fan didn’t say anything in the end even though Senior Brother Ying asked him this question. He knew that there was nothing that he could say since Senior Brother Ying wasn’t even asking this question to get an answer.
Senior Brother Ying was just complaining to Lin Fan at this point, that was why he even said this.
Lin Fan just let Senior Brother Ying complain a bit more as he watched the sects that were arriving.
There were quite a few sects that had agreed to co in the end, so even their arrival was quite the event. After all, these sects might have been sects that were considered under core disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect, but they still functioned as sects on the surface.
So it was only natural that they would want to stand out in front of others to raise the prestige of their own sect.
That ant that they would have to put on a display to show the might of their strength to the others when arriving.
But in Lin Fan’s eyes...
"They really are putting on quite the show."
It was like so kind of acrobatics show with how they demonstrated their techniques while arriving in Dungeon City.
Still, at least the people of Dungeon City were enjoying this.
"Sect master, are you even listening to ?" Senior Brother Ying suddenly asked which pulled Lin Fan back to the conversation.
"Have you prepared the places for all of them?" Lin Fan asked instead of answering Senior Brother Ying’s question.
Senior Brother Ying just gave a sigh before saying, "Of course I’ve prepared everything, what do you take for?"
"You’re the reliable Great Elder of our Love Sect. I’ll just leave things to you." Lin Fan said with a teasing smile.
Senior Brother Ying gave a sigh before saying, "Just leave things to ."
Lin Fan gave a nod before turning to watch the sects coming into Dungeon City once more.
From outside of the Mu Empire, it wasn’t just the Golden Gate Sect.
There was also the Flying Mist Sect, the Wandering Sword Sect, the Golden Palm Sect, and the Wilting Flower Sect. There were other sects that ca from the sa places as these five sects, but they weren’t as important.
After all, it was only these five sects that had a core disciple of the Heavenly Demon Sect behind them.
So that ant that there were five different core disciples that had co to Dungeon City.
These core disciples all ca from different factions as well, so it seed like there were different relationships between them.
Whether those were good or bad relations...Ye Qing Huan didn’t tell Lin Fan anything.
The only thing that she told him was, "It’ll be interesting when you et them."
It really seed like she wanted to ss with Lin Fan with the way that she acted, but there was nothing that Lin Fan could do if she wanted to act this way. At the very least, he knew that she didn’t an him any harm.
So that ant that there shouldn’t be any danger in terms of the core disciples.
It was just that going into this eting blind wasn’t really a good thing.
In the end, the core disciples had all co here for their own benefits and had their own ideas of what they wanted. The only thing that was standing in their way was the one that owned this land and the one that owned the dungeon that they were all interested in.
It was even worse for Lin Fan since he was the dungeon master of the dungeon, which ant that he was even more closely linked to the dungeon than they thought.
Ye Qing Huan didn’t know about this, or else she would have handled this matter differently.
Still, Lin Fan could only handle this with the hand that he was dealt.
Once he saw that the Wandering Sword Sect arrived, he said to Senior Brother Ying, "I’m heading out now."
Senior Brother Ying didn’t even need to ask to know what Lin Fan was referring to. As the Great Elder of the Love Sect and the one that was in charge of the tournant, it was only natural that he would know everything that was happening.
Including the matter of the core disciples from the Heavenly Demon Sect.
In fact, his expression beca a bit better when he heard Lin Fan say this.
It was almost as if he was feeling schadenfreude because Lin Fan had suddenly brought this up.
Lin Fan on the other hand didn’t hide the bitter smile that he had when he saw Senior Brother Ying looking at him like this. Rather, it seed like there was a part of him that wanted to punch Senior Brother Ying in the face because of this expression.
Though he didn’t actually do that since they were both a part of the Love Sect.
Senior Brother Ying suddenly revealed a smile as he said, "Have fun."
Lin Fan really wanted to punch Senior Brother Ying in the face when he saw this, but he didn’t do it in the end. All he did was turn around with a sigh before saying, "I wish I didn’t have to do this."
But as Lin Fan was leaving, Senior Brother Ying suddenly said with a serious look, "Be careful, sect master."
Lin Fan also revealed a serious look as he said, "Don’t worry, I know what to do."
The reason that the two of them could joke around with each other like this was because the Love Sect was like a big family. So the two of them could have fun at each other’s expense without hurting each other.
But at the end of the day, they did care about each other since the Love Sect was like a big family.
Lin Fan was about to enter the lion’s den, so Senior Brother Ying was worried about him.
Lin Fan was touched by this, but this was sothing that he had to do on his own since the other side were the core disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect. They were people that most people in this world would never be able to et normally.
As such, he had to do this himself since he was the only one that had the status to et them.
Though it wasn’t as if he was technically alone.
"Are you ready?" Ye Qing Huan asked him with a smile on her face.
Lin Fan couldn’t help revealing a bitter smile when he saw her waiting for him like this.
She didn’t seem worried at all, but that wasn’t strange since she was already familiar with these people that he was about to et.
She was also a core disciple of the Heavenly Demon Sect and one that had spent quite a bit of ti there, so she would be familiar with the other core disciples.
Unlike Lin Fan who had only recently beco a core disciple and had never even gone to the Heavenly Demon Sect.
Still, Lin Fan said with a sigh, "There’s nothing to be ready for. I can only do what I can."
