The matters of the Han Kingdom were settled and the Duanmu Family was taken care of, so there was no reason for Lin Fan and Duanmu Ming Xue to stay any longer.
They had stayed long enough for Duanmu Ming Xue to catch up with Duanmu Chao, so there was nothing left for them to catch up with.
Though Duanmu Chao wanted Duanmu Ming Xue to bring Duanmu Yi back to the Duanmu Family and live with them, he knew that she didn't want this. He knew that with the relationship between Duanmu Ming Xue and Lin Fan, she would want to be with him.
So he didn't stop her in the end.
But he still said, "If you ever need anything, you can always co to us. We'll always be your family."
In the future, it seed that there was another place for them if anything ever happened to them.
With that settled, they headed back to the Mu Empire on the back of Igneel.
Igneel's speed was more than enough to bring them back to the Mu Empire in just a few days, but they actually took a bit longer.
After all, they had achieved sothing that the ministers hadn't been able to accomplish in all this ti. Now that they had helped the Han Kingdom solve their issue with the three founding families, they had turned them into allies.
In the future, they would certainly be helpful if sothing happened with the Five Great Sects.
So in light of this accomplishnt, Lin Fan and Duanmu Ming Xue deserved so ti to themselves.
It was just that there was sothing waiting for Lin Fan when he ca back to Dungeon City.
It wasn't anything related to the Mu Empire or even the Star Tower group that was still idling in the Love Sect.
Rather, it was related to sothing that Lin Fan had completely forgotten.
When he arrived back in Dungeon City, he found that there was soone who he hadn't seen in a while waiting for him. Though Lin Fan was completely caught off guard when he saw this person since he never expected this person to be here.
The arrival of this person ant sothing that there was sothing that he didn't want to face that was here again.
The person that had arrived in Dungeon City and had been waiting for him was Grandma Pan.
She had arrived during the ti that he was in the Han Kingdom, so she had been waiting for a while for him to co back to Dungeon City.
However, it didn't seem like Grandma Pan was displeased or angry at all about this.
It was as if she just accepted the fact that he had been away on business and didn't mind at all that he had kept her waiting.
It turned out that it was because this ti, the mission she was sending him on wasn't as ti sensitive. Though Lin Fan knew that when it ca to missions from Ye Qing Huan, it was better to do them as soon as possible.
The things that she had prepared for him to claim…
His cultivation had soared since he started doing the missions that Ye Qing Huan sent to him and it wasn't in a way that made his foundations weak. Rather, because of all the treasures that she sent him to find, it actually made his foundations stronger.
After all, if it wasn't for her sending him off on that first mission, he never would have been able to complete his physique in the first place.
It was all because she had found that last piece for him that his physique was able to evolve.
So it was clear that whatever Ye Qing Huan had prepared for him, it wouldn't be a bad thing for him.
The one thing that did surprise him though was how well Grandma Pan got along with the rest of his won.
It would have been normal if Grandman Pan didn't like them because they were the ones that were already with the one that her young miss was interested in.
With the status that the Ye Family had in the Heavenly Demon Sect, one would think that they wouldn't want their young miss to chase after soone like Lin Fan who already had other won.
After all, that would be like lowering the status of their young miss since she wouldn't even be the second wife. With how many won were already by his side, her status would be quite low in their hierarchy.
It really seed like the Ye Family would want to stop this instead of encouraging it.
Or at least try to chase away Lin Fan's won if they weren't able to stop Ye Qing Huan. Stay updated through empire
But it didn't seem like they were planning to do that at all with the way that Grandma Pan acted.
It was almost as if they accepted that Lin Fan had other won and that Ye Qing Huan would be just one of those won.
It really didn't make sense at all why they would treat him like this…
But that wasn't the important thing.
The important thing was where they were sending him for the second mission.
It was once again a place that was in the Mu Empire which surprised Lin Fan to the point where he couldn't help asking a question.
"Are there really that many treasures in the Mu Empire in the first place?"
To that, Grandma Pan replied, "If there weren't that many treasures here, why would the Five Great Sects care that much about this place to the point where they would even interfere with who was the emperor."
Lin Fan was caught off guard when he heard this, but he found that there was nothing that he could refute this with.
The fact that the Five Great Sects did all of that just to keep their grasp on the Mu Empire, even going as far as sending people to the Martial Might Sect to contact him and try to sway him…
It showed that there was sothing special about the Mu Empire that enticed the Five Great Sects that much.
As an empire, the Mu Empire held quite a bit of land and that land was filled with spiritual energy. That spiritual energy was able to create resources that the Five Great Sects highly regarded.
It seed that the one that had been underestimating the Mu Empire this entire ti was Lin Fan himself.
It seed that he didn't give the Mu Empire as much credit as it deserved.
It was a land that was filled with treasures after all.
Realizing this made Lin Fan feel a bit awkward since he had completely misjudged the Mu Empire.
He even felt a bit guilty for looking down on the Mu Empire like this.
However, he recovered quickly from this and focused on the mission at hand.
The mission itself was quite simple from what the description was.
It was that there was this herb that was blooming and that there was a spirit beast that was guarding it. As long as he defeated the spirit beast, then he would be able to claim the herb.
Beyond that, it didn't seem like there was any other information.
That was why there was a bitter smile on Lin Fan's face when he finished listening to it.
"Do you really not have any information at all about what kind of spirit beast it is? Or even what kind of herb it is?"
Grandma Pan said with a faint smile, "Nope, none at all."
The way that she said this was almost as if she was teasing him.
There was a part of Lin Fan that really wanted to complain because of this, but he held himself back in the end.
"Then is there any other information that you can give ? Anything at all?"
Once again, Grandma Pan said with a smile, "None at all."

Lin Fan really didn't know how to feel about the way that she said this.
It really was as if she was trying to make him angry with the way that she said all of this.
Still, it wasn't as if he could beat her.
Lin Fan knew that even if he had beco stronger, he still couldn't beat her.
Not that he wanted to beat her in the first place.
So he just accepted it with a sigh and said that he would head off when he can.
Since this was a mission that didn't have a ti limit, Lin Fan actually wanted to take his ti in taking care of this mission. He had just run off with Duanmu Ming Xue because of the matter with the Duanmu Family.
He felt that he should at least stay here and help out for a bit.
But to his surprise…
"No, go and finish this mission."
That was the unanimous decision that they all ca to when he t with the girls.
It was as if they just wanted to chase him away from Dungeon City with the way that they said this. It was almost as if they found him a burden rather than being helpful if he were to stay in the city.
That caused a bitter smile to appear on Lin Fan's face.
It was as if he was unwanted here.
Almost as if he had made them angry sohow.
But the girls quickly alleviated this fear by saying, "You need to beco stronger for the future. This is the best way."
