Kennedy, as the minister, braced himself, presenting the investigation report to Victor on the desk.
“Sir, this is a report forwarded from the lower ranks.” Kennedy’s voice was sowhat tense.
Victor frowned and picked up the report, quickly flipping through it.
The air in the office seed to freeze; only the sound of Victor turning pages and the heavy, uneasy breathing of the military bigwigs could be heard.
As he read further, Victor’s eyes were filled with incredulity.
“Ha ha ha… Good, very good.”
“The issue of treating officers and soldiers as family hasn’t been thoroughly addressed, and now we have an officer trafficking drugs, exploiting official duties by directly transporting from outside the camp…”
His smile abruptly vanished, and the next mont, his roar exploded like thunder within the office:
“Are we a governnt or xico’s biggest drug cartel?! Huh?!!”
Victor suddenly stood up, grabbing the report, and harshly slamd it in front of Minister Kennedy!
“What kind of Minister of Defense are you?! Where’s the army’s discipline?! Basic drug screening?! Have they all been fed to the dogs?!”
Kennedy bowed his head, not daring to utter a word in rebuttal.
Victor then turned to Admiral Kitchener: “Kitchener! What’s the General Staff doing?! Unable to get the operational plans right, yet this chaos keeps erging?! Do your staff all have a copy too?!”
