And then, Edie was brought back to the fitting room again. She tried two more dresses on but were discontent with them. Finally, when she tried on the Chinese style cheongsam, Brittany clapped her hands and cheered.
The cheongsam splits on the side to Edie’s thigh, which perfectly revealed her beautiful leg. Wearing a cheongsam requires a good body shape, and Edie just had that. The green cheongsam had a delicate pink lotus sophisticatedly embroidered on the front, which made Edie look more sweet and pure.
"We will take this one, lower the split on the side a little, or Stuart wouldn’t allow it. Edie, let’s take a rest; you must be tired by now too." Edie nodded, at first, she thought it would be easy to choose a wedding dress, she didn’t expect it to be so tiring. She only tried on four dresses today, and she was already exhausted.
Discovering that they were taking a break, Cecil, who was standing beside them, ran over in his adorable dress, "I haven’t changed back yet; I’m too chubby; I can’t unzip myself, change back!"
Edie turned her head in the direction of the voice and tried hard not to laugh. Although Cecil was a little chubby, his facial feature was still delicate and pretty. He was totally a chubby princess in those blonde wigs and dresses.
It was then that Brittany had finally rembered him; seeing him in the dress, she nodded in content, "Not bad, we’ll take this one, don’t change for him, he’ll wear it ho."
"Why are you doing this to , I’m not playing with you anymore..." Cecil was angry but didn’t dare to resent, so he hid aside, pursing his lips.
While on break, Brittany made a call. She didn’t avoid Edie, so Edie knew she was calling the L.N. headquarter. After hanging up, Brittany winced confusedly, "I just called the company; there are no urgent matters in the company. Then what’s Stuart doing at the company on the weekend?"
"I don’t know," Edie shook her head, "that’s what he told ."
"Today is the day to pick a wedding dress for you, he should co no matter how busy he is, doesn’t he love you the most? How could he miss out on such an important event?" Brittany was in a daze.
After hearing what Brittany had just said, Edie’s heart missed a beat, and she had a bad feeling. Stuart... why didn’t he co today?
She suppressed the weird feeling within a little and said, "He didn’t tell that I’m picking a wedding dress today."
"Yes, I’m confused about it as well! I thought you knew, but you didn’t! Stuart suddenly called two days ago and told to contact the wedding dress salon and co over. I even brought soone else with just in case you two might feel uneasy picking a wedding dress together. In the end, I’m here, and he’s not? Did he forget?"

What Brittany said hit the bottom of her heart hard, the pain startled her. Stuart forgot? Would he forget such an important event?
Recognizing Edie’s expression, Brittany realized that she had said the wrong thing and quickly explained, "Maybe he didn’t forget, he was just really busy?"
That... was not very persuasive. If Stuart loved Edie so much, why would he not appear on such an important day? It was either he had forgotten, or sothing more important had happened. But what could be more important than their wedding? Edie was all excited at first, but after hearing what Brittany had said, her interest faded away completely. After that, she just randomly picked a few dresses and left.
Then Brittany said they were going to visit the church for their wedding, and it was the famous Bruges Cathedral. It was one of the most beautiful churches in London. But... because Stuart was not there, Edie had no interest in visiting anything. Preparing for a wedding is supposed to be a matter for both of them.
Brittany knew Edie was in a bad mood, so she didn’t force Edie to go. She called Stuart, realizing that his phone was turned off, such a thing had never happened before! Obviously, Edie noticed it as well.
Edie bit her lip lightly, noticing Brittany’s worried eyes, she turned around and smiled at her, "Don’t worry, we’ll know when he cos back tonight, let’s go ho?"
Brittany nodded; she suppressed the worry in her heart and deliberately raised light topics to cheer Edie up. When they were back at the villa, Stuart still hadn’t co ho yet. Brittany worried that she might be upset all by herself, so she especially had dinner with her before leaving. Cecil loved food and sleep, and he fell asleep quickly after filling up his little tummy.
"Mrs. Yates, Master, said he would co ho late tonight, don’t wait for him, sleep first," the butler said. Seeing Edie crouching on the sofa made the butler feel sorry for her.
When hearing his words, Edie’s eyes enlightened imdiately and quickly asked, "Did Stuart call? Why didn’t he call ?"
If Stuart saw her miss calls, he would definitely call her!
The butler said calmly and unhurriedly, "Master called with his office phone, and you might not notice. He said that his phone ran out of battery but still had businesses to deal with, so he will co ho a bit late tonight. Master told to let you go to bed early."
Hearing his words, Edie felt much better. So it’s because his phone ran out of battery! She indeed did not pay attention to whether the ho phone had rung or not, so she completely believed in the butler’s words. It seed that he must have important things to do, and what she thought on the way back ho was all just nonsense.
Edie patted her own head in regret, her husband worked so hard outside, and she complained that he didn’t accompany her to pick a wedding dress and go to the church. She was an incompetent wife.
Her bleak face beca bright again, she smiled and said to the butler, "I’ll wait for him, the cook has already left, if he gets hungry when he cos back, there’ll be no food. I’ll cook so porridge for him so that when he cos back, at least he won’t be hungry."
The butler knew he couldn’t stop Edie, so he nodded. As Edie entered the kitchen, the butler winced. What’s wrong with Master today? He was not at the company, his phone was turned off, no one was able to contact him, where did he go? And why did he not tell Edie? If it wasn’t him, Edie would still be upset right now. The two of them are getting married soon, no more drama, please.
