At this mont, a man walked down from the rolling lift. Seeing this, he suddenly recalled what happened several days ago in front of the door of his castle.
It was that girl and that little fatty boy.
He didn’t expect he would see them here.
"Sir, news from the troop..."
"I am on my vacation. Don’t tell anything about that." Norman said in a slight voice.
Seeing familiar guys here, he squinted. Out of curiosity, he decided to follow them.
Edie found a coat for Cecil. She liked it. But when she wanted to take it for Cecil to try it, soone stopped her.
"Edie Lara."
Edie frowned and dragged Cecil behind her, "Julia?"
"What a coincidence! I never expected that I could see you again here."
Julia held Edie’s wrist rightly so that Edie felt she could break her hands the next mont. She was trained in the troop for a long ti. She was almost as strong as those n.
Edie frowned. She kept struggling to get rid of her. But she couldn’t.
As she didn’t know how to get rid of her, Julia’s wrist was pressed by a big hand.
The hand was so big. The fine hair on hand was dark, like an anthropoid.
Julia felt painful. She loosened hands and stared at him angrily, "who the hell are you? Mind your own business."
"He’s my brother’s boyfriend. I am obliged to help his sister."
Norman made a fake smile and said.
Hearing "boyfriend," Cecil started coughing. He tried to explain imdiately, "What? What boyfriend? Don’t make Edie misunderstand , okay? I am not Arther’s boyfriend. Please."
"Oh. I see, sorry—my apology. My little brother’s male friend," Norman, hid his smile and said.
"That’s right. wait.... that also sounded wrong." Cecil said. But he couldn’t figure out what went wrong imdiately.
Hearing his words, Julia said angrily, "Let go. Or I would make you regret it."
"Oh? Make regret it? How would you do it? I am really curious," Norman laughed out. But the smile on his firm resolute face looked scary, like the smile of death.
Julia was so confident in her strength. SO she started attacking him imdiately.
Every movent was brutal.
However, Norman was quite good at this. He avoided all her attacks. He didn’t even fight back.
Julia got angrier. She spared no effort to attack him. However, she couldn’t even touch the corner of Norman’s clothes.
Norman looked so relaxing. At the mont, he looked like a cat playing a little mouse.
Finally, he was bored. He captured her and said.
"Sorry, I never beat won. It is not my style."
Then he loosened his hands and pushed her away, "Don’t be stupid. Or you would scream out painful next mont."
He raised his fist.
Julia bit her teeth angrily. She never expected Edie still had soone here to help her. She couldn’t accept that Edie could always et soone that could help her.
She didn’t know the one Norman followed was she.
It was herself that was his target.
Edie was saved. She struggled to ssage her wrist and said to Norman, "thank you so much, sir. I really appreciate your help."
"You don’t need to thank . I am just helping this little atball," Norman crouched down to pinch Cecil’s face, "my little brother talked a lot about you. You are the boy that pretended to be a girl and made him fall in love with you, right? You left so quickly that day. I couldn’t find you when I ca back to the living room. Now, since I t you here, I think we can talk about that. What’s the punishnt if you lied to relatives of senior officials? What’s the punishnt if you fooled around them?"
Hearing these words, Cecil was frightened. The corner of his mouth started trembling.
"If it is not my little brother, I am totally okay with that. But the one that you lied to was my little brother. Have you realized how serious was that? I’ve co up with a plan. Tell how many lies you’ve told my little brother. And I would cut you into the sa number of pieces. What do you say about that? I would start from your belly, inch by inch..."
Norman’s words sounded so bloody that even Edie was frightened, not to ntion Cecil. He was just a little innocent boy.
Edie dragged Cecil behind her and said, "both of them are just kids. They didn’t an it. Moreover, they seed to get well along with each other. Sir, please don’t be bothering to be arguing with him."
"Well. You are right. I really don’t need to be bothering to argue with this little guy. Then, I should argue with you."
Edie froze, "What? What do you want to argue with ?"
"Yeah. He’s your brother, right? Your brother fooled around with my brother and lied to my brother to get more snacks. My brother’s spent lots of money and ti on him. How could you compensate for what your brother’s done?"
Hearing this, Cecil got worried, "I...I don’t even have a penny. My father went out of business. Besides...you are so wealthy. Those snacks won’t have any impact on your wealth."
"Sure?" Norman raised his eyebrows.
Arther had soone to keep his pocket money. He never used his money before. But after eting with Cecil, he started spending money, a lot. He even started borrowing money from his elder brother, Norman.
Norman was so confused. Arther was just a small boy. How could he be such a foodie? How could he eat too much? Norman thought his little brother’s stomach was like a bottomless pit. It could never be filled up.
Being confronted with such questioning, Cecil looked a little embarrassed. He curled his mouth and said, "Why are you so an? You are Arther’s elder brother. I think you must be more generous than him."
"Well."
The man-made a sound from his voice. No matter where he was, everyone could see the temper as a soldier on him.
Edie stopped Cecil imdiately and said, "You are right. Cecil indeed ate a lot. But he didn’t an to do that. I have no money here. He should wait for his dad to return ho to give him money. Besides....even Cecil owes Arther money, and it is none of your business. Sir, your words made no sense here..."
Under the great pressure, Edie gathered all her courage to say these words out.
Gosh! What Edie feared most in her life were policen. She never expected that she was forced to refute senior officials in England. Would she be killed by him imdiately?
It surprised Norman. He never dread that she dared to refute him. He blinked his blue eyes and made an ambiguous smile.
"What’s your na?"
"What...what do you want?"
Did he want revenge on her?
"Tell , and then the insolvency would be resolved."
"Her na is Edie, Edie Lara. Mr. CEO’s wife. Don’t you dare to touch her," Cecil tried to threaten him to make himself look powerful?
"..."
At the mont, Edie really wanted to beat this little fatty up.
"Edie Lara... Mr. CEO’s wife...." Norman repeated those words as if every word was pressing on his heart. Every word was so heavy for him.
Edie had a bad feeling.
"I see," Norman said in a low voice. He placed his big hands on his waist and turned around.
He left.
Though he wore casual clothes today, he still looked like a soldier. His back was quite straight. His steps were powerful and firm. His body was quite straight, like an arrow, accumulating energy for action.
Seeing him leaving, Cecil finally took relief and said, "Should...should I still pay Arther?"
"Go ho. I need to talk to you," Edie said. She looked quite mad at the mont. So she stopped shopping. Then she raised the collar of his clothes and left the supermarket.
