You Are Mine (English) Chapter 67: What Would She Do?

Edie felt ridiculous for even thinking of such a thing. Rubbing her eyes, she tried to rein in her scattered thoughts. Then she debated as to whether or not she should call Stuart. She wanted to know why all of a sudden he was coming to the Villa, but if she were to call, would he tell her why?

She held her phone, clicking the screen, but she just didn’t dare to call him. Everyone except for Queenie was waiting for their arrival. Edie stared blankly at all the people. Lisa, in the production crew, called to them, "Is everyone ready? Mr. Yates is going to be here soon." Edie stood up imdiately when she heard what Lisa said.

"What? Then everyone would see them together. She knew that Stuart would not pretend not to know her, and if everyone found out...What would she do?"

Edie started feeling anxious, and she knew that Stuart would be here any minute. She began to tremble. Rhoda asked her, "Are you okay, and you’re shivering?"

"I....." Edie stamred for a while, "I have a stomach ache. I need to the ladies’ room, and I am not sure if I will make it back, could you tell the director for ." Then, she imdiately walked away.

Before Rhonda had a chance to respond, Edie was walking away. Edie turned around and said, "Don’t forget to tell the director. Thanks, Rhonda."

Then, she went to the washroom, locked the door, and sat down on the floor. It was so quiet that she could hear her heart beating faster and faster. It was expected, but she hadn’t thought he would be here today. She hurt, her heart, her body, her soul all of it hurt. If he were to touch her, how could she possibly hide her feelings for him?

She sat there thinking, scratching her head, and she really was a coward. She was too afraid to face him in public. The Universe Entertainnt was the biggest investor of the play, and the Universe Entertainnt was the subsidiary of L.N. Group. So, the director thought very highly of Stuart’s visit. She should be there, but she could not find the courage to face him.

Finally, the sound of the engines was heard. "They’re here," everyone shouted. The first car to arrive was an Aston Martin. It made several turns and parked in the middle of the square. These were all luxury cars, having records for the most expensive and most desirable vehicles in the world. There were dozens of people surrounding the cars. The expression on their faces was a mixture of dazed desire and amazent.

The director was confused. He didn’t know which car was Stuart’s, so which one should he walk towards? As he was standing there trying to decide, the door of the Aston Martin opened. A slender, elegant man got out. He showed a ridiculing smile as he adjusted his glasses.

"Wow, so handso." People around scream when they saw Stuart.

"Mr. Yates? Wow, so charming."

The young woman started whispering. Then all of a sudden, a gorgeous woman got out of the Ferrari. Todd walked towards her, holding her body in his arms.

"He is also quite handso. Like Lucifer, evil, but charming."

"Forget about him. He has a girl. You don’t stand a chance."

Finally, director Lane walked directly towards the silver Lamborghini. As the door opened, a man wearing a gray suit made from Italy got out. From everyone’s perspective, he looked perfect. His face was grave and profound. Every part of him was delicate, especially his black eyes. It seed like there was nothing worth his attention, which made him look unique.

It got silent for only an instant, and then the crowd started yelling again.

"My God, His eyes could freeze ."

"Really charming. More handso than most of the actors. Oh, that temper, he was born as a noble."

"Isn’t he an actor? If he is, I would never miss any of his dramas."

Director Lane could hear it all and felt a little embarrassed. He walked towards Stuart and introduced himself, "Mr. Yates, I am the director, Wilfred Lane. Welco."

Stuart did not look pleased, but he still maintained his elegance as a noble. He nodded and said, "It’s Stuart, Yates."

All the actresses couldn’t keep their eyes off him. They were standing on their tiptoes, trying to see him more clearly.

"Lots of people in your crew." Holding Fifi’s waist, Todd walked towards them.

The director was in a cold sweat. There was nothing he could do with all the chatter going on in the background. He realized that he had made a mistake. He wanted to make Stuart feel welco, but he never expected a situation like this.

"Forgive , Mr. Anderson. Most of them haven’t seen powerful and wealthy people like you. They get a little overwheld sotis."

Director Lane had to be nice because any one of these three n could very quickly destroy him. Stuart started talking, "Would you ask the leading actress to co here for a minute? I would like to see her after the Universe Entertainnt invests all this play."

As Stuart said this, Fifi felt Todd’s hand tighten around her waist.
